This company is very quick to take your money and deposit it. However, they will not answer phone or emails, at all. My elderly mother was stuck twice this winter, unable to go anywhere. We aren't even halfway through winter yet and I am so disappointed. They haven't come on time once. I was late to work many times. If it snows three times, they only come once. my sister and I have to shovel our long driveway ourselves to go to the doctors or store, why are we paying a service to do it ourselves? they put in sticks in the fall to determine the width and then ran over them so now they cant tell how wide is our driveway and only plows half the driveway. They haven't replaced the sticks, which is in the contract as their responsibility, and they won't answer the phone. I really hope these people are ready to retire because they are losing business year after year with no integrity at all. Please do not hire them. They do not care. I can't express to you how inconvenient they have made our lives. This is an essential service people rely on. It can be dangerous to have an unreliable service. We were stuck so many times this winter. Our next door neighbor in comparison had a service that was more reliable, will be going with them moving forward.

A crew of two talented landscapers spent the day at my yard and transformed it. This included pruning, weeding, planting shrubs, mulching, planting grass in some bare areas, and repairing a block wall around a bed. Their work was meticulous! As an example, after mulching, they manually separated and dusted the landscaping blocks around the beds. The shaping of all my boxwood shrubs was exceptional. My neighbors immediately commented on how great everything looks and what a stand-out job was done. Throughout the process, communication was excellent. The owners stopped out also. The first snowfall, it took over 48 hours and countless messages to get them to the property. Once there, they did a good job. During the second snowfall of the season, they kept promising that they would show up and after 72 hours of not showing, lots of excuses of equipment being broken, I had to get someone else out to the property. Finally, with the third snowfall, I was told on two separate occasions, that someone would be there. After more than 36 hours and multiple follow-ups to ensure that they would arrive, it was another no show. After voicing my frustrations with only having the property serviced 1 out of 3 snowfalls and losing business at my location due to the lack of snow removal, I was told that they are no longer able to service the property for the season because gravel damaged his equipment. This was the first time I had heard that excuse and it had been over 3 weeks since he was even there to service the property, the only time he did. I do not recommend this service to anyone looking for someone reliable. I am now out my money for the season and have to try and find someone else to service the property when most people are already booked for the year.

Three days later, when it still had not been plowed, I made arrangements with someone else and sent him an email indicating I wanted to terminate my contract and wanted a refund of what I paid him. This is when I saw a scathing Yelp review with similar problems as I have had (Lesson learned check out reviews prior to contracting with companies). I asked for my refund again on 1-28, and Jason indicated he would get the refund processed. On 1-30, I sent a text indicating he had all the information he needed to send my refund through Zelle, and me texted me indicating I would receive the refund in 7-10 business days. On 2-10, I texted him asking about my refund wince it had been 11 days, and he indicated "It should be" What does that mean - it either is or is not on its say. I sent an email on 2-15, indicating I wanted my refund. It is now 2-24, four weeks after I notified him I was terminating the contract and wanted my money back, as no services were provided. He mentioned that whoever did our yard did not do a great job as the grass is a "contractor's mix." We have neighbors who used our new landscaper, and their yard is night and day compared to ours. We had pavers added, and it's not even where we have a puddle when it rains. We also have puddles and soft spots when it rains light or hard in the backyard. I've reached out to the owner of Perfection three times to ask him to come to look at the work done by his team but NO RESPONSE. The other landscaper also mentioned he would not have charged as much ($7K) increase with Perfection. Considering how much money we invested on a nice yard, I would not use this company as their customer service all-around has been awful. I've updated photos to show what it looks like nine months after and when it rains. Update 9/2021: I spoke with Marcus, the owner, after my review, and he provided more insight on how to care for our lawn. The design process was great; Kevin listened to our requests and provided estimates for all the items we wanted to add to our landscaping. Once we down the deposit, communication, and service went down. Kevin was not very clear, and we had to follow up often to find out when our landscaping would get started and if there were any questions. Considering how much of an investment, I'd appreciate more of a customer service-friendly atmosphere. He was sometimes short via email or slow to respond. The foreman, Josh, was very helpful, professional, and communicative with the onsite staff. We had the grass type change three times from hydroseed, something else I forget, to pete moss while the crew was on site. Once the landscaping was complete, the remaining deposit was due; Kevin and the office sent us reminders before it was done, which was annoying. The estimate didn't match the final payment paid as they got the taxes wrong. They did come back to reseed, but the interesting part was that they didn't add soil to the backyard but did so in the front yard. I'm interested to see how this "evens" out.
