Rob showed us exactly what he'd do and gave time to ask questions. The crew did a good job with the work. Rob checked with me before the job was complete to make sure I was happy and also checked with the neighbors to make sure they didn't want more cut over their property. He also pointed out some other trees that might have problems and cleaned some leaves off of our roof that were not due to their trimming but they did the extra service because maybe there were some twigs up there from the cut. Would definitely work with Mr Falls Tree Expert again.

Payment is expected when the trees are removed and usually within 1-2 days the tree branches and trees are picked up. If you pay for stump grinding generally they arrive within several days. First off trying to get a return call was a problem. You often get a recording and no return call. I had an oak that was diseased and needed to be removed in the winter. I was promised a return call the next week, that never happened. Two months later the tree was finally removed, and after one week, no one had shown up to grind the stump which I paid for when the tree was removed. Finally after calling, someone came out to grind the stump, but the young man never communicated with me before leaving. So there was a stump that looked like it had not been ground completely. Granted I never went out to check. It took 4 calls to get someone out to check, only to be told the grinding had been completed, but somewhere in the process they forgot to pick up the stump. Here I am 4 weeks later and numerous calls and I still have a stump which I paid to have removed. I get excuses after excuses: secretary was fired, they are short staffed, man called off sick and that was why they didn't pick the stump up on the day promised. The communication stinks. They don't know how to pick up messages and return calls, they don't know how to communicate when they can't show up as promised. Payment is expected when trees are removed, but beware. If you are having stumps ground, do not pay for that service until done. The "boss", Joe, is very condescending, sarcastic, acts like you are a nuisance and has zero customer skills. I understand how unreliable workers are these days, but it is important for businesses to COMMUNICATE with customers. I never made Falls Tree Service wait to be paid. I know it is a hard job, so I even paid for their lunch. But this time Falls Tree Service has left a bad taste in my mouth regarding dependability and customer service. They are not the same business they used to be. My recommendation is hire someone else. I doubt I will ever see anyone pick up this stump, that I paid to have ground and REMOVED. This company has been nothing but a headache. I doubt I will ever use them again, because of the attitude, communication, and lack of trust.
