He came out and assessed the broken branches situation, gave us a very reasonable quote and scheduled us for the next day to do the work. Although he had given a tentative arrival time, he contacted us and let us know he could be there earlier. He took care of the branches, even trimming a few more in the same area to help avoid future problems. Everything was neatly cleaned up and the debris taken away. At our request, he cut some of the larger branches to a size usable for the fireplace. It is always a delight to work with someone who is highly proficient and professional.

The first…read moretime, I chose them after getting several quotes because their price, timeframe, and customer service were unbeatable. The second time, I didn't even bother getting other quotes--I went straight to A&S because of how efficient and effective their crew is. They even managed to come out the same day I called! Recently, after a month of waiting to spread the mulch from a tree grinding, I noticed that the job wasn't fully completed due to the challenging location (a large, mature tree in a tight two-foot area surrounded by a driveway and sidewalk). It was impossible for them to see all the remaining roots. When I reached out, they immediately recognized the oversight and had it resolved within 24 hours. I'm convinced A&S Tree Service has one of the most ethical business owners in Cleveland. I've had at least four trees removed by them, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of tree services.

A recent storm launched a large branch on a neighbors garage, while another branch was poised above my garage ready to break. Alex arrived same day as my call ( I sent him pictures so he knew this wasn't a leisurely take down. He spoke to me and two neighbors and even recorded a video for my insurance claim. The price was more than fair. The crew arrived on time and got to work 3 days later. They were fast, friendly and immaculate at clean up. I had both crane and a bucket truck, as well as their tree climber- who was fascinating to see his skill. These guys are the real deal. True "tree whisperers" who were faster than their estimated time, and also gave me an opportunity to add on additional small trees which Alex identified as future problems. Worth it. I will give my highest recommendation on both safety and speed, plus the price was fair! My situation was not one you want to be in- especially with a storm system looming on tomorrows weather- and they made sure we were ahead of it and safe. Five stars out of five for this top notch company. The BEST.

Mueller Tree Service wrote us a fair estimate. They arrived with a full crew, ready for the job…read moreexactly when they said they would. The workers completed the task in harmony and with such skill that there was very little wasted movement. I am writing this review to share how poorly I was treated by Mueller Tree Service this past week…read moreat my home in Hudson, OH. On June 9, I contacted Mueller Tree and spoke with Tom McCartney, the Sales & Operations Manager. I requested an estimate because a dead tree needed to be removed before June 17, as it threatened my neighbor's yard. Tom visited my home while I was away and messaged me the price along with photos and a detailed job description. I messaged him back and agreed to the price. Tom said he would send a crew on Saturday, June 13, around 12:00 p.m., to cut down the tree, and he would come on Sunday, June 14, to grind the stump. My husband saw the Mueller truck drive by before noon on Saturday. They stopped for a few minutes and then drove off. I called Tom around 1:00 p.m. to ask when the workers would arrive. Tom said the workers went by and told him the price he had given me was too low. He also asked for the name of the other company and the price they gave me. I declined to answer, telling Tom I agreed to his price and that I had already informed the other tree service that I accepted Mueller Tree to remove the dead tree. Tom then told me that the crew had no more room in their truck for the tree parts on Saturday and might be able to come on Monday or Tuesday, but the price may be double what he originally quoted me. I said I had a detailed, written price from him and agreed, so I believe the contract was binding. Tom said he would call me again later that day, but he never did. I recently saw signs for Mueller Tree in my neighborhood and decided to call them. Tom McCartney mentioned they had worked in the Hudson area and my neighborhood for many years, so I felt confident I would get the right information. I agreed on his price. I have all of Tom's texts, as well as the contract he sent. His actions, as well as those of Mueller Tree, are unprofessional; their pricing is deceptive. As a consumer, I find this unacceptable.

Please consider that your very wordy proposal was not completely understandable by a lay person and I was not certain which trees and which branches were to be trimmed.
