Skyline is a classic for me. This location is awesome and has great service. My daughter loves that you can watch them make the food while you're waiting. Traveling home from Louisville to Columbus, we were looking for a place to grab some lunch. My wife spotted one of those "highway logo signs" inidcating there was a Skyline Chili at the next exit. Being big Skyline fans we exited I-71 at exit 32 (Lebanon) and the restaurant was about 3 miles up Route 42. We were there about 1:30 on Memorial Day - just after the lunch rush. A number of tables still needed to be bused but we found a clean table. The server was there PROMPTLY and - being regular Skyline customers - we already knew what we wanted to order. She took our order and our meals were out within 5 minutes. In the meantime, any of the servers not actively waiting on customers were cleaning and busing tables and vaccuming the floor. By the time we were done with our lunch, the restaurant was spotless. The restrooms were also very clean. My wife an I both had 5-way chilis and our meals were as good as we expected. The service was excellent; the food was excellent and this restaurant richly deserves a 5-star rating. read more

Stopped for a quick lunch and this location is off the interstate exit a couple miles around a slightly curvy 2 -lane road. Plenty of parking in the lot with other restaurants, business, and fuel options in the area. Really clean and bright dinning room on the inside. And no need to wait to be seated, you can sit yourself and someone will come to you. The waitress was super friendly (they do wait on you at skyline). Classic rock was playing over the speakers so you had some music as you enjoy the meal. It was a nice little break while traveling home. You do take you check to the counter to pay instead of the waitress taking it. Not sure if that is common or just because it got busy. No instruction either way, I just followed another customers lead. It's was a nice little treat as I have not had Skyline Chili in a couple of years. read more

This is the closest Skyline to where I live, and being that Skyline is probably my favorite food of all time, we go here a lot. Unfortunately, it's probably my least favorite skyline that I go to with any regularity. They are very stingy with the cheese (and portions are a bit smaller than some others) which is part of what makes Skyline amazing. By the end of your 3-way you sometimes are left with a plate of noodles and chili and nothing else. Everything else about this location is great - friendly staff, you can tell the ownership takes care of them, clean, food comes out fast. Just need to use more cheese!!! For comparison, I went to one way down in southern kentucky and it was the best experience I've had in years. Much more like what I grew up on. Huge portions and tons of cheese. We will still go here (maybe not as much though), for all the reasons mentioned above. But it's disappointing. read more

Great Skyline location! The restaurant was clean and comfortable. We chose a booth and had a nice variety of food - cheese coneys, fries, 5-way, the kids 3-way. The food was classic Skyline, and it was much enjoyed. The kids meal came with a drink and dessert (choice of chocolate or vanilla goldfish). Service was friendly and efficient. read more

Lebanon Skyline is the "bomb". My wife and I stopped in today for lunch to grab spaghetti and and a dog. Have to admit and pass on how well we were satisfied with the food and service. The day crew working was like a well oiled machine, they greeted their customers with a welcome and followed up with top notch service. A very clean dining area and just a comfortable place to enjoy Skylines grub. Again "hats off" to the girls serving today and making our visit pleasurable and welcoming. This Skyline was recently renovated and it looks great on the inside. The service here is super fast and everything I've ever ordered has been accurate and delicious. I love Skyline! It's a Cincinnati tradition. This Lebanon location is really really clean and the servers are always smiling. It's great to have a restaurant in town where you can sit down in a nice place and actually eat quickly and make it back to lunch all during your lunch break. Plus, the prices are pretty decent too. My favorite promotion they do is the habenero cheese. Super spicy and super delicious! read more

First time to ever eat at this chain and it was my last time. I got the loaded chili cheese dog and the loaded bowl of chili. When the hotdog came I almost asked who took the other half of it as it was not much bigger than a cocktail wiener. $2.15 for lots of bread lots of cheese and somewhere in there was supposed to be a 3" long hotdog. The chili could have been good but cinnamon Does Not belong in chili. Why on earth would the owner's secret spices for it include cinnamon? "Best Cincinnati Restaurant, Worst Location." Stay away from the Lebanon location. Skyline Chili is known for outstanding chili, and this franchise location should be shut down completely. It's a social club for the employees on the clock, and unless you're friends of theirs, you'll have to place your order directly with the supervisor - because they're not giving you the time of day. When I arrived, the restaurant had more workers than patrons. The manager and shift supervisor were on the steam table, and four servers were sitting by the television talking. The manager was running around making orders, the supervisor was sweating. The young ladies were catching up on whatever it is young girls catch up on these days. I was not greeted. As I was alone, I seated myself at the counter so as not to take up the room a booth or table. Nearly five minutes elapsed before the supervisor took a moment from his work and greeted, assuring me someone would be with me in a moment. Another three minutes and one of the girls wandered over to me - finishing her sentence to the group behind her on the approach - and asked if I needed a menu. I placed my order and watched as the supervisor dropped everything to make it, called order up and proceeded to go back to his changing out/cleaning up/prepping the steam table. My chili sat awaiting the end of yet another story. Still no water, still no crackers - let alone the extra crackers. Burst of laughter, chili arrives. I ask for the water and the crackers. She hollers to a friend while tossing my crackers to me. No acknowledgement of my presence, just a routine feeding. Then the baby arrives. A young man arrives, producing the offspring of one of the young ladies. All four stop their conversation to fawn over the cute little toddler and the young man delivering this little ball of energy. Not the manager, who had to answer the drive thru. Not the supervisor who only stopped working long enough to make my order - just the "workforce." I've been eating Skyline chili for nearly 40 years, and of all the locations, this one has got to be hands-down worst. An edit: I've updated this to reflect a 3-star rating due to subsequent visits and a new waitress. Jasmine is the only reason I am updating the rating. During both visits, she was attentive and gave us her undivided attention. I still prefer the Mason location, but this one is at least OK now. read more

I am a Skyline Chili fan for sure. There's plenty of reviews on Skyline's regular offerings, but what makes this Skyline unique is their cookies! Try the White Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies after your meal. They are delicious! As far as I know, this is the only location with these specific cookies. read more

This is another great location. The staff are super friendly, and make it a point to remember you, or at least your order. And even when they're busy, you'll get your food lickety split. Went through the drive thru which was slooooooow. Ordered a combo meal. She gave the me the coneys but not the dr. Pepper I ordered as part of the combo. When I remind her about the drink at the window she says that she didn't charge me for it so now I have to pay separately for it. Which is more than the cost of a combo meal. After arguing and trying to explain that I ordered a drink in the drive through, she gets a manager. He still won't give me a drink! I was willing to pay the difference but not the extra since I felt it wasn't my mistake. After watching him type on the computer for two minutes I just left for the McDonald's across the street. He manager actually told me that going to McDolnalds for a drink was a good idea since they couldn't help me!!! McDonald's was quick and even apologized that I had to wait in line for my drink. We ate here on a cold Tuesday morning about 11am. Crowd was thin so service was very prompt and very quick. The waitress was friendly and the manager who rung us up with just as friendly. the service was bad, the skyline in eastgate can be 10 times busier and i get my food out in half the time, our waitress forgot the sliverwear and waited for 1 cheese coney to be made to bring it out to us, this caused one guest to go and grab the silverware himself. the food tasted gluey mostly because it was siting a while and the cheese melted. i cant imagine the drive thru wait. read more
