Regular 4 Way
Richard Walton C.

I love Skyline Chili! There are not enough locations especially in the Indy metro area. I really wish they would build one closer to me. So I always have to go out of my way to visit one of their restaurants. This location is well off the route between Indy and Lexington but it was my last chance on this particular road trip returning from South Carolina. This location is quite unusual for me in that they have a dining room area upstairs that I missed on the way in or I would have sat up there. As usual service was fast, friendly and accurate. I ordered a 4 Way chili with onions and my sister ordered a 5 Way. The food was excellent including the oyster crackers. I just love this style of chili and the way it's served. There was plenty of parking available at this location.

My partner brings me here every time we are in town. The food is delicious!!! I'm craving it as I type. The staff is so kind and attentive.

This was our first visit to any Skyline chili. My step dad was born and raised in Indiana and told us we had to try Skyline on our road trip. Glad we did. Our server was super friendly and brought us two welcome bags for being first timers. Our favorite was the 5 way chili on spaghetti. Definitely worth a stop! Would recommend if you like chili and cheese!

Greek salad (minus the feta cheese)

We ate here for lunch on a Friday and it's a known hot spot for lunch during the work week. We sat at the counter and were greeted promptly by a friendly waitress. The service is always fast and the food is good and fresh. We got chili of course but wanted to showcase their Greek salad. Their Greek dressing can be bought at Kroger as well. So good!

This is the Skyline location right on 50 in Lawrenceburg. It's a very unique location as they have almost a two level look inside with tables on the first and second floor. Our waitress was very good and got us everything we needed and was very friendly. Everyone has a favourite Cincinnati style chili and this one is kinda mid pack for me. I got 4 Habenero Cheese Coneys with no onions extra mustard. The chili was good and the cheese had a decent amount of kick as habanero should. I got a side of plain fries that were kind of soggy and disappointing and would have made a better base for a chili and cheese fry then eating them plain. Although I didn't get it this time their 3 ways are very good and probably the best way of showcasing their chili. Their funnel cake frys are excellent as well although I've never seen them at any other locations other than this one. Skyline has some pros and cons but there was more good than bad about my visits to this location (this was my 4th one but 1st eating inside.)

Open late on weekends (1am) and tons of seating in this 2 storied Skyline Chili. Came at around 11pm on a Friday night with my uncle. We were told to sit where we like. Our waitress was currently sweeping, so someone else came over and took our order. I ordered a greek salad (to share), a cheese coney, and a small 3 way. She smiled, said thanks, and walked away. My uncle was never able to order. Luckily, our real waitress walked over, apologized, took my Uncle's order, and our drink orders (Waitress 1 had not done that either), and brought us oyster crackers. Our waitress was very sweet, attentive, and fast. My small 3 way came out as a Regular, which she told me would still be charged as a small. I always order Extreme Cheese, but had forgotten to tell her for the Cheese Coney - she ran back to the people behind the counter and made it right. She was awesome. The food itself was tasty as usual - cheese coney comes with mustard and onion optional. The 3 way was good & the Regular Greek Salad is enough for 2 people.

Large Chili 5-way with "extreme " habanero cheese. That might be a full pound of cheese ....

Saw reviews as a place to check out if passing through, definitely a unique experience. Straight forward menu built around chili and cheese, so if that's your thing be sure to stop in. We had a variety of menu items and all were pretty good. The original deluxe burrito has the famous skyline chili wrapped in a tortilla and topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and drizzled with sour cream. Not a burrito you'd see at a Mexican restaurant but definitely a good size portion of good stuff. Unimpressed with the chili cheese fries; too soggy too fast. The chili 3-way and 5-ways were a big hit. The regular size is a reasonable portion and the large is over the top. Might as well get it though since I'm pretty sure the left overs will be equally as good. The 5-way is Skyline Chili topped spaghetti with beans and onions with a full skyline of cheese mounded on top. Epic presentation! I went for the extreme habanero cheese and it was not as hot as I was thinking I might be. If you like heat at all, go for it, you won't be disappointed. It's a fun experience that you should try at least once. Not my style of chili, but worth trying. Glad I've had the experience, but not likely to repeat it.

You have had one, you had them all. Then you probably paid the price a few hours later. Great for a hangover though.

Placed our order and soon it was served to us in a great presentation at our table. The cheese steak sandwiches were exactly what we ordered and tasty. There could have been more steak in the sandwich. The fries were delicious also. The homemade lemonade was great and they gave me a refill. They were busy, yet all the workers worked as a team getting the food out promptly. The ladies room was very clean! Overall a great experience well worth the money and time!

We visited Penn Station Subs when I was in Indiana visiting a friend. I researched great subs and…read morethis spot showed up. We walked in after looking at the online menu. I ordered a cold club sandwich, and my friend ordered the hot chicken sub. I ordered a large not thinking it would be so big! I paid $15.50 for my large sub, and my friend paid $12 for her medium size chicken sub. Now my friend liked her sandwich while I found mine to lack something. It contained very little meat, two slices of tomatoes for a big sandwich, shredded lettuce and one piece of soggy bacon. I tasted only the delicious bread, but the rest was definitely lackluster to say the least! The dude who took our order was rather dry, and lacked good customer service manners. The place has a few tables inside, but it's more of a grab & go type of spot. The highlight was the roll they used on both sandwiches. The negative was that they were skimping on the meats, cheeses, and produce!
