The service was great they really were not packed at all so we were seated right away our waiter checked in on us plenty and was very nice. For the food me and my boyfriend got something similar mine just had rice queso and steak and I got a side of the corn on the cob he got pretty much the same thing but his had chicken and shrimp and we obviously had chips and salsa I got a fanta to drink which I haven't had in a while he had their specialty beer now my food was okay It was kind of bland the steak was good maybe if I had them add peppers or something but it was still good reading it too so that counts I was super excited for my Mexican corn on the cob I haven't tried it at an actual restaurant yet just off of food truck at a festival in the past and I said Mayo instead of sour cream and it had cottage cheese I think it said and a type of spice and I'm not sure if maybe they used miracle whip and I'm just not used to the tinginess or what but it was super sour like overwhelming for. My taste buds which was odd normally when I get it it's Mayo with a splash of lime cottage cheese or Parmesan cheese and chili pepper or paprika when I got home I did take the rest of the corn off the cob and mix it in with my leftovers It was tolerable them but overall I would say it was an okay experience for the food

The inside is very colourful and fun really bringing joy to anyone that comes in. As for the food we started with Chori-Queso as we usually do when we eat Mexican. Their version is an excellent on really offering a great balance of flavours between the queso and the chorizo. For my main dish I went ahead and got more of the same as I got a steak burrito that was covered with their queso. It was absolutely delicious as their steak had a zingy seasoning that really hit the spot and the queso on top of course really worked. The rice they served as the side was really good too. The service was once again superb rounding out another sensational lunch at Alejandra's.
