Upon entering the barn style store, we noticed very quickly how the inside was clean and staff were friendly. We got a few things to try at home like the fudge and doughnuts. We also got some food: BLT, burger, chips, drinks, etc. There are a lot of places to take beautiful fall photos. We were 3 adults and a toddler, thankfully we paid a reduced price to enter the activity area because only the toddler did anything & it was too cold / wet to do most of the activities. She loved the petting zoo area & had a blast in the corn pit. I recommend going even on a day the sun doesn't shine. Be sure to wear boots.

There's something for everyone here. My friend and I visited on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. We found a spot to sit and enjoy the atmosphere while sipping on apple cider mimosas & slushies. The slushie was my favorite for sure. They have several options for hard cider on tap as well as a variety of food options. We took a hay ride and attempted the corn maze. There's a store with so many different products for purchase. Apples, cider, donuts, jams/jellies, honey, spices, baking mixes, and so many more. I was surprised at all the things they offered. For family fun there's a play area with slides and other kid friendly activities. Admission and parking are free. You pay for any activities that you would like to participate in. A great way to spend a Fall day.

The building is a dump, conveniently located to a dump of a motel that looks like something out of a horror movie. There's writing on the walls, it's dirty and they have cheap junk merchandise they'll be glad to sell you. When entering, you can see a couple of dozen people trying to find somewhere to sit, with the counter across the room. The cashier was rude, dismissive and pretty much like "hurry up" when I tried to take a minute to look at the menu. I waited about 10 minutes before having to fight others to get a table. It's great sitting at a filthy table and having to wipe it down yourself. (meanwhile they expect tips where you order) It was another 20 minutes before my food arrived to the counter where they screamed out peoples names. (next to the tip jar) The ribs were cold, the sides were cold, and it was mostly flavorless. I've made better ribs in my crockpot. Overall it was underwhelming and a place I'm glad to forget. It seems to be really popular, there must be a lack of choices in the area. When I left, I searched around for a place to fart.

After leaving yet another distillery, the ladies in our group wanted to head to Georgetown for some shopping. But before the shopping could begin, we needed lunch. We had stopped at Fava's a few weeks earlier with another group of friends for breakfast, and it was excellent. With that great experience in mind, we decided to try Fava's again, this time for lunch. The décor is classic Old Town Kentucky--exactly the kind of place that brings back childhood memories of small-town restaurants. Charming, comfortable, and familiar. We seated ourselves and looked over the menu. I went with the chili cheese hot dog with fries. My wife and one of our friends chose the open-faced Reuben, and the last member of our group ordered the club sandwich. Every dish was excellent. The club sandwich was so large it required a to-go box. Before leaving, everyone except me ordered pie to go-- Fava's pies are legendary, at least to my wife and me. I skipped dessert this time and immediately regretted missing their ice cream options. We dropped the pies off in the car (it was cold enough outside to keep them safe), and then the ladies headed off to explore the shops of Georgetown. And I cannot leave out the wait staff, very attentive and friendly . This was my second visit to Fava's, and both times have been outstanding. I'm already looking forward to our next "shopping trip" to Georgetown so I can enjoy their food again--and this time, I won't miss out on the ice cream.

I was too full to try their pie, and it was too hot for me to get one to-go, but it looked amazing! No major complaints, but when we arrived, someone just yelled from kinda far back for us to seat ourselves and then the available tables didn't look like they'd been cleaned.
