We arrived at our hotel early today and needed to get dinner. We are traveling through town and…read moredon't know the area. So we looked up online what was good to eat here, in Georgetown. FatKats was labeled, "The Best Pizza in Town." Here are my thoughts. The restaurant had a reversed Pizza Hut vibe from the outside. The inside was full of purposeful graffiti and stickers on the walls. It was fine. It seemed fairly clean. The Good When we arrived, my daughter was having a HANGRY meltdown. One is the servers came over with crayons and coloring pages. I was optimistic! The pizza was pretty good. That is the star of the show. The prices were ok. The Bad Well, it took about 15 minutes to even order. Then, the salads arrived in a fairly quick manner. However, it had a little lettuce, some cheese, and a bunch of carrot slices. We were short on napkins and had to ask multiple times for them. My order was incorrect and had to be sent back and redone. We had to ask multiple times for drink refills, items that were missing from our order, and condiments. Overall, I would say the pizza was good but not amazing and the service was acutely lacking. I think if I could I would give a 3.5

We came in and one of the servers hollered at us from the bar area that she would be with us shortly. She sat us in a booth in the front part of the restaurant. We don't even wait for our waitress to return to wait on us. We left without even ordering a water.

I waited a few more minutes thinking that my order was talking a little longer but after waiting for a couple other people to get their orders I finally went up and asked about my order. The manager and attendant asked what my name was and they were going to make it again without no apology. The workers were laughing about it amongst themselves and assumed I was not watching nor paying attention to what was going on. When I finally got my orders another worker brought it to me and avoided eye contact with me and just laid it on my table and didn't apologize then either. I ate my food to give me time to cool down a little and also give them an opportunity to apologize again but the later did not happen. When I finished I asked to speak to the manager and asked what happened and tried to explain why I was a little upset and they still did not apologize even when I told them all I wanted was an "I'm sorry this happened" or something for my inconvenience or anything. Multiple issues occurred here besides the mistake they made. 1) my name was never called out. 2) the other guy got my order and his and even took the extra food with him in a to go bag. 3) the employees were all snickering about the situation 4) I never was apologized to 5) the manager didn't take responsibility for their mistake and said it was my fault for not hearing my name called when it was never called! 6) and I payed full price for a meal that I had so many issues with.

Juicy, flavorful, perfectly messy. The kind of sandwich that requires extra napkins and zero shame. It's hands down the best Italian beef we've had around here. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, perfectly salted...and you absolutely do NOT need ketchup. In fact, ketchup would just get in the way of their glory. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. It's a small dining area but we were able to get a table. We waited about 20 minutes for our food, and I would've waited 40. Totally worth it.
