Beautiful views from the patio. They have an outdoor fireplace to keep warm along with blankets. Comfortable seating and delicious food.

SkyFire is tucked within a main building at Bishops Lodge, in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Santa Fe. To me, it rates relatively mid-range within the Auberge brand. The setting is lovely but doesn't capitalize fully on the mountain views, instead having a terrace angled solely at the lower, western horizon -- it's pretty, but bring your sunglasses and a jacket for high wind exposure. The greeting we received at the host stand was a bit off-putting. Uncertain how long the drive from Santa Fe's historic plaza to Bishops Lodge might take and how the weather might shape up, we headed over early and walked around the beautiful grounds awhile. When we made our way to SkyFire, we were told rather brusquely that we were 25 minutes early and could take a seat in the bar, even though it was an uncrowded weeknight and they were seemingly not at all understaffed. No one came to find us even at our reservation time, so we made our way back to the stand and were taken to our terrace table. The menu was not particularly novel, but the dishes were enjoyable, and our server was quite friendly (and kindly pointed out that 20% gratuity is added across the board at the lodge). In general, it was a "good but not great" experience that felt expensive but underwhelming.

Great location at Bishop's Lodge resort. We sat on patio and had drinks and appetizers. Service was amazing. Ambience and couches were comfortable and inviting. Had some signature cocktails which were very good. For food I recommend the nachos which had thick tortilla chips ensuring they did not become soggy after a period of time from the cheese. The bison sliders with hatch green chiles were so-so

Located inside of bishops lodge. It is one of the best restaurants in Santa Fe. Their menu doenst change much but they have some killer dishes. The place is very elegant with western element decor but don't feel too much. Tables are spaced out and some outdoor seatings available. Our waitress Melly is very friendly and attentive. The manager even stopped by to every table to say hi. The green risotto is my favorite with a very nice flavor, it's a bit heavy so recommend to share. The hamachi ceviche doesn't taste fresh but I guess they are not close to water they only can do much about fresh seafood, I recommend to skip this dish. elk short ribs is amazing but the mole doesn't really brought out the flavor, wish they use different sauce instead. The icecream is not great, taste artificial flavor. Drinks are amazing tho my martini taste great. Overall is one of the best meal in Santa Fe. Even personally I don't like some of the dishes but I think they are still great.

The food is incredible. I enjoyed the Alaskan Halibut so much that I dined the next evening with the same dish. The service was extraordinarily impeccable by our waitress Stephanie. Stephanie added grace and elegance to the entire experience, and she honored the chef's creations with each food description.

Had the most incredible dinner here with clients. I know there were issues in the early days and feedback has been hit or miss, but our servers and food were absolutely excellent. The ambiance is fantastic. I will say service can be slow when sitting on the terrace - took a while for drinks and to get the heat on, but once seated inside there were no problems. Our table - very nice but be aware that waiters cubby is behind it so they are always in an out. If this will really annoy you get a different table. We suggested they move it forward a bit to make less annoying. Important to note they have a compulsory 20% service charge on the total order. Anything else you give goes directly to your server. Food wise, everything was beyond delicious. Major shout out to the creator of the Green Chile Risotto. What a treat that was! The tostillos were great too - loved the spicy queso which isn't typical New Mexican cuisine. Outstanding overall. We had no room left for dessert which was a shame.

I'm shocked that there are only 9 reviews about this restaurant. I had such a lovely experience and the food we ordered were delicious. The service was great and the ambiance was homey. Aguachile Hamachi: Refreshing and light. It was a perfect start to the meal. I wish it was a tad more spicy. Will order again! Green Risotto: It was such a pretty presentation. It was creamy and filling. I don't recall the green chilies being a strong flavor but the color was pretty. The mushrooms helped with texture. And I loved that there was a lot of ground back pepper on top! Inverted Carrot Cake:There was a lot of components and I'm not sure what everything was. I do know there was vanilla ice cream, carrot cake, walnuts and a carrot puree. The cake was moist the ice cream was delicious. It was definitely carrot forward. Our server was engaged but not hovering. He did forget my appetizer but there was 15 of us so it's understandable. He kept the drinks going and the vibe made the dinner amazing! The property is beautiful! I recommend this place!

BFF and I ordered the prime rib special (well done) and it was fantastic (served with mashed potatoes and veggies). Mom was going to order the SF enchiladas but the server did not recommend them so mom ordered a salad instead (we appreciated the honesty). My friend does not eat meat unless it is Halal (she is married to a Pakistanian) so she ordered a side of mashed potatoes and an order of nachos (w/o meat). Everyone enjoyed their meal and also opted for dessert! Mom and I got the pecan pie (she got hers a la mode). BFF and my friend got the apple pie a la mode. We all really enjoyed the meal but the only thing was our server was just a bit too snarky which we did not appreciate. For example, she came by as we were finishing up our dessert and I thought she was picking up our plates so I was going to hand mine over and she said she would be by to take them (no problem); however, she was just right behind me asking the other table if they needed anything and then she picked up our plates. I felt as if she was doing this on purpose (some servers just have an attitude and are not "people persons" as they say). Other than that, I would definitely return!

We started with some drinks at the bar and let this be your warning- they are STRONG! I got a house margarita and after drinking half of it, I felt like I had already had 2 margaritas. Others ordered old fashions and after a few sips, they said they felt like they already had half of it! The drinks tasted delicious, so we did not mind at all, but they do have a pretty heavy pour. I ordered the tacos and thought they were yummy, but the star of the night was the chile rellenos. It was DELICIOUS! The red chile was great, and second only to my Nana's home made red chile. For appetizers, we got wings and chile cheese fries, which were also really good. For dessert we tried the coconut cream pie, chocolate cheese cake, and key lime pie. They were all alright but nothing crazy. The inside of the restaurant gave me diner/local bar vibes and was such a fun experience! People warned that the service wasn't great, however, we just thought they were very busy. They were friendly and as attentive as they could be, but it was a packed restaurant with lots of people waiting around.

The food was delicious, but I decided on Coyote Cafe because of the dessert menu, and the burnt honey cake absolutely lived up to and surpassed my expectations! I had the Kentucky Slide. It was their version of a bourbon sour with egg white. My wife had their signature Nortena Hatch Chili Margarita. Our starter/app consisted of their home made corn bread with a trio of avocado butter, chili-mango butter, and honey butter. The corn bread was okay, but the trio of butter made it better. We had their version of the Cesar salad with white anchovy wrapped in a sushi soy paper. This was very good. We ordered a bottle of the 2022 Kistler Pinot Noir to pair with our entrees. My wife ordered the coffee rubbed flat iron steak entree with the green chili Mac and cheese side. The hangar steak was okay, but didn't care for the coffee rubbed. Would not order that again. The green chili mac and cheese was great. I ordered the Tellucherry peppered elk tenderloin with a sweet potato mash. This was fantastic and is their longtime signature entree. Medium rare to just under medium rare is the perfect temperature for this type of protein. Anything more would be a sin. Dinner ended with my wife ordering an espresso martini. It was not good. They did not use a fresh shot of expresso in their ingredients which is a shame. It tasted like chemicals. I would have liked to have shown or told the mixologist how to make a nice smooth crowd pleasing expresso martini using a Keurig pod of expresso off to the side, but I'm sure that would not have gone over well. LOL! Overall we had a nice dinner experience and would return again when in Santa Fe.
