The food was average but nothing special. The service was not bad. The ambiance was what it was a club and lounge mix. The entertainment was ok but when they started the ole school tunes it got better. The speakers are so loud so the words got distorted by the time it hit your ears. Did not like the fact our party could not sit together and we had reservations. Not sure if I would go back. But you go and see what you think.

Restaurant by day, club /lounge by night. I've been here for both. The interior is amazing, decorated with cherry blossom flower trees. They have entertainment show and music on weekends after 9pm, it can get loud and crowded. I enjoy their dinner experience more. A little pricey with all taxes and fees in the end but it is a restaurant. Drinks taste fine but presentation is very sophisticated! Overall accent is on Asian cuisine, food and drinks menu has variety. Our favorites are tartare, ceviche, lobster avocado salad, ginger scallions lobster. Service is acceptable. Location is convenient, window tables overlook the canal. Depending on time of day and preference, place is good for casual dinner or fancy night out.

Came back for dinner on a Friday, and they had a live performance, which added a fun vibe to the evening. The oysters were fresh and good, and the tuna tartare was tasty, though it had a bit too much spicy mayo for my taste. The lamb chops were juicy and flavorful. Fun spot with great service, definitely a place to enjoy good food and live music!

This was my second time visiting sky Wise. This time was different though. The first time I visited during the weekday, it was more quiet being that they didn't have entertainment that night. They also gave larger portions. This time I visited on a Friday. They did have entertainment, which made it very loud that we couldn't even hear each other. However , the performance was AMAZING. The singer and performers did really really well. And the DJ was really great, he played music to cater to everyone in the crowd. My back was turned, and I could help but to keep looking back at the stage and dance floor. It was really nice... on the downside, due to it being a busy night, this time the food had less portions and wasn't as great as my previous visit . Oh and it's a little hard to find the entrance to the venue.

Spectacular is the word I would use to describe my experience at Sky Wise Lounge. I could use many flowery words and adjectives to describe this place, but one must experience it to understand truly. However, I will highlight a few things to entice you. For starters, the Sky Wise Lounge is beautiful in so many ways. The staff is highly attentive and friendly. The dining area is elegant, clean, and laid out in a way that adds to its beauty. The food and presentation are spot on. As for my meal and the food, I enjoyed the orange chicken, which was flavorful and fresh. I also ordered a lychee cocktail which was expertly prepared and presented. If all that was not enough, the entertainment was worth every penny. I was blown away by the singer and all the dancers, even the sole male dancer. Honestly, I had a phenomenal time, and for anyone looking to enjoy a breathtaking night out on the town with a loved one or a group of friends. You will not only get your dance on, but you will have the time of your life. My last tip is to dress like a star because that's who this place attracts.

What a fancy place in South Brooklyn! I felt like I was on vacation at this nice restaurant. Came here with 2 girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. We had the calamari, lobster avocado salad and tuna tartare for appetizers to share. We asked for more taro chips for the tuna tartare that were never brought out but that's ok. The service was slightly slow for the amount of people that were there. Overall, we enjoyed all of the appetizers. We shared chicken fried rice and a few rolls. I liked the roll wrapped in cucumber instead of rice. The waiters sang happy birthday to me at the end which was special. The dessert, brownie sundae, was really yummy too. I always love some live entertainment. I was hoping there would be a burlesque show but there was a live DJ instead, who also sang! I enjoyed his singing. This just means I have to go back to see the burlesque show but it's so hard to get Friday or Saturday reservations.

I absolutely love coming to Skywise for the dinner, service and the performances. I went with a party of 5. I had the calamari, sample of the shrimp appetizer and the beef lo mein for dinner. Everything was perfect The only issue was the seating in the back. We couldn't see the performers and was issued a $25 each refund with no issues. George our server was attentive and sweet. Enjoy yelp partners but remember make reservations. They don't take walk ins.

Decent. Orange chicken and Haru roll was okay. Atmosphere is IG worthy. Service is good. Only got a picture of dessert.

Celebrated my sister's birthday at Sky Wise and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked off the elevator to when we were immediately seated and greeted by our amazing waiter Roos (apologies if I misspelled) we knew a time was going to be had. The ambiance at this restaurant is absolutely beautiful and definitely perfect for any occasion. The service was on point as our waiter was the most helpful and fun server for our party of 5. He suggested everything for us -- drinks (highly recommend the Silent Tokyo), apps, our entree and dessert for the bday girl and he was spot on. No regrets. So what we order? Spicy Salmon Dumplings, Calamari, Crab Cake, and Chicken Lollipops for the appetizers. I will say the apps weren't my favorite. I've had better. But the entree - we all got the Sirloin cubes which comes with vegetables and this pepper sauce paired with white rice. So good. Our reservation was in the early evening because they were so booked, so we didn't see the show/DJ which starts later in the night around 9:30ish or 10. But we for sure will be back. Thanks Sky Wise for another great memory in the books!

Peking Duck says it comes with buns but came with pancakes instead.

I've been to Sky Wise a few times and this past visit will sadly be my last. My husband and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Our server came by and asked us if we wanted still or sparkling water. We ordered still and immediately realized we were being sold $10 bottled water and not given tap. UGH. Fine - that was our error and we accepted that. I don't mind the charge or being offered the bottled water, it just seemed the server was being deceptive in the way he proposed it to us. We ordered a few dishes to start and share. We asked for the pecking duck to start and for mains, my husband was going to have sushi and I was going to have the steak salad. We asked for the dishes to be staggered, duck first to share, followed by sushi and salad as mains. We also emphasized we were looking forward to the duck buns (this will matter later in the review). The server repeated the order back to us. Here is where it really went awry. The sushi came our first, so my husband felt awkward eating his dish without me having anything. Then they brought out the pecking duck on this odd serving tray that made it difficult to serve ourselves. Later, we realized they didn't bring my salad and when we asked our server told us the kitchen was backed up. There were no more than 20 people in the large lounge at the time, so that was a huge miss. We ended up canceling the salad. Lastly, there was a super rude server who kept reaching over our plates WHILE we were eating to wipe up any spills or messes on our table. He did this multiple times. It was incredibly rude. All the service issues aside, we were mostly disappointed by the pecking duck. The menu says it is served with duck buns but we received pancakes instead. For $90 for half duck, we expected it to be better than what it was. It was truly underwhelming. The sushi rolls were good, but doused in sauce. Lastly, they tacked on a full tip to the bill and had a suggested gratuity based on the bill with tip already included. It seemed a bit grimy and again deceptive. For a lousy lunch we spent close to $200. I don't mind spending money on a good meal, but I do mind feeling like I've been cheated. I've given this spot 2 stars because the ambiance is nice and I have been there in the past and had had a good experience. Hope there service turns around.

I rarely give a perfect review but this placed needed it. This place has evrything you need for a great night out with a loved one, the girl squad, or even the adult family members ( I don't know if kids are allowed). The ambiance here is so chic and magically inspired by the Japanese cherry blossom. It's a photo takers dream, and opportunity for great photo opportunities. The food and drinks are immaculate! They have an extensive menu that had to be handled by an iPad and the waiters are versed on everything. The Asian fusion food was really good and came out hot and tasted great . The drinks are artisanal and just damn cute as well as buzzworthy. There were a lot of parties celebrating birthdays and even a whole wedding party. The worst thing about this place is it's so hard to get reservations and you even have to book a window seating which is worth it. They do have some great entertainment even on a Sunday it started at about 9pm. They do ask for ID and have a strict dress code( trust me security was on point). Coming here is like coming to a fancy club so wear your best and look cute.

Let's first state ladies & gentlemen mark this location to take your special person too. From the check in to the greeting of my lovely waitress Gulya was the best!!!! Not only are you entering a beautiful restaurant with an amazing ambiance and a view that will make your evening the best, it was just an overall 10/10. We will start with our drinks, yummy!!! The Sapphire was strong but delicious blend of strawberry, bourbon and lemonade. Appetizers miso soup, shrimp spring rolls and teriyaki Cauliflower. Entrees, shrimp pad Thai, and Lamb chops with potatoes. Dessert- chocolate Lava cake just delicious Now this was definitely a great start for our pre anniversary dinner

They have such a large variety of options from specialty rolls to trendy Japanese foods. My absolute favorite dish here is the salmon belly on crust rice. The salmon literally melts in your mouth and it has avocado on top with a nice crunch topping. The flavors perfectly blend together and it's the best thing ever. The salmon mango salsa is also amazing it is like nicely cooked and the fish is so fresh everytime with the most heavenly sauce. For kids who are picky the have "chicken nuggets" (they aren't called that but I refer to them as chicken nuggets) which is bascailly just fried chicken that even the pickiest person would enjoy. The fried rice also hits every time. Even being such a simple dish, it is so good. The kani salad is also really good and I do not like kani salad everywhere. The Brianna roll is also so good, the combination of flavors is so unbelievers good. They also have a variety of crispy rice options for those tuna crispy rice lovers. The rice is perfectly crispy with finely chopped tuna. Moreover, the service is always amazing the waiters are always so sweet and really try and work hard. The manager, Jessie, is such a sweet heart and makes us feel so welcomed and at home every time we come there. The ambiance is also modern and versatile. You can wear sweatpants if you're in a lazy mood or nice pants if you're in a dressier mood. I highly recommend this place for all the sushi and Asian fusion lovers!

There's plenty of seating, but not many patrons. I ordered the combo Chicken Wings (half soy garlic/half spicy Korean BBQ), and some sweet potato fries. The wait for the order was about 15mins- which isn't bad as it's made to order. Fries came out piping hot and crispy; The chicken was a bit flat, not fully sauced and a little over-cooked dry. They are basically charging Midtown prices in deep residential Brooklyn, which was kind of a turn off. Still, I decided to give it a try. Since I have had their chicken plenty of times, I went with one of their non chicken items instead and ordered the bibimbap. It was a massive disappointment. It was sixteen dollars with a fried egg, and the bowl was about ninety percent hard rice that clearly had been sitting around. The toppings were minimal, just some shredded carrots, bits of iceberg lettuce, mushrooms, grilled onions, and small pieces of dried out spinach. It was barely a bibimbap at all. Where were the bean sprouts? The Korean radish? The zucchini? This was easily the saddest bibimbap I have ever had.

This newish restaurant has been opened for about half a year and from the outside you wouldn't know…read moreit's a decent Cantonese restaurant unless you spot the minimal signage. It's in a quieter area of Boro Park surrounded by residences and commercial warehouses and auto shops. Yet I wanted to try it for months. So we did try it especially as they have a lunch special everyday from 11am to 3pm which offers a starter of their house soup with all the fixings - spare rib, fresh chicken, mushrooms, a abalone as well. While not like most other restaurants which their house soup is left over bones and odds/ends with a heap loud of msg. Then 3 main dishes of your choice from their lunch special menu which has over 20 dishes for you. Plus a bowl of their white rice for each person. Even a simple bowl of white rice was amazing - it's a mix of different rices which presents very nicely - each grain stays individual, long, fluffy, and great texture. The main dishes do not disappoint- fresh, flavorful, well balanced, and with wok hay. We've now eaten there a handful of times for lunch and even with other friends/family - everyone agrees the food and preparation is excellent. Everyone says they would come back. Then if you take into account the lunch special deal for $30 this is an amazing meal that feeds your taste buds and stomach yet your wallet praises you. I have read some reviews giving 1 star with comments about long wait for dim sum, dim sum being average at best, and bad manager/servers etc. I have these observations to share - Dak Sing Palace has a small dim sum menu maybe a dozen or less items and they are not a dim sum restaurant so they likely don't produce dim sum fresh daily. Likely their dim sum is frozen and reheated. Thus the wait time and average dim sum. Bad manager/servers - this is not uncommon at Chinese restaurants it is almost expected to have to deal with this to some extent. My own experiences here every server does do their job maybe some without a smile but we have had excellent servers with a smile and small talk also. If you have any reservations about trying Dak Sing Palace due to how the appearance may seem, or reviews on the service, or dim sum then I say Just Go! And try using their lunch special for $30! You won't be disappointed.
