They have entertainment show and music on weekends after 9pm, it can get loud and crowded. I enjoy their dinner experience more. A little pricey with all taxes and fees in the end but it is a restaurant. Drinks taste fine but presentation is very sophisticated! Overall accent is on Asian cuisine, food and drinks menu has variety. Our favorites are tartare, ceviche, lobster avocado salad, ginger scallions lobster. Service is acceptable. This was my second time visiting sky Wise. This time was different though. The first time I visited during the weekday, it was more quiet being that they didn't have entertainment that night. They also gave larger portions. This time I visited on a Friday. They did have entertainment, which made it very loud that we couldn't even hear each other. However , the performance was AMAZING. The singer and performers did really really well. And the DJ was really great, he played music to cater to everyone in the crowd. My back was turned, and I could help but to keep looking back at the stage and dance floor. It was really nice... on the downside, due to it being a busy night, this time the food had less portions and wasn't as great as my previous visit . Celebrated my sister's birthday at Sky Wise and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked off the elevator to when we were immediately seated and greeted by our amazing waiter Roos (apologies if I misspelled) we knew a time was going to be had. The ambiance at this restaurant is absolutely beautiful and definitely perfect for any occasion. The service was on point as our waiter was the most helpful and fun server for our party of 5. He suggested everything for us -- drinks (highly recommend the Silent Tokyo), apps, our entree and dessert for the bday girl and he was spot on. No regrets. So what we order? Spicy Salmon Dumplings, Calamari, Crab Cake, and Chicken Lollipops for the appetizers. I will say the apps weren't my favorite. I've had better. But the entree - we all got the Sirloin cubes which comes with vegetables and this pepper sauce paired with white rice. So good. Our reservation was in the early evening because they were so booked, so we didn't see the show/DJ which starts later in the night around 9:30ish or 10. But we for sure will be back. I've been to Sky Wise a few times and this past visit will sadly be my last. My husband and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Our server came by and asked us if we wanted still or sparkling water. We ordered still and immediately realized we were being sold $10 bottled water and not given tap. UGH. Fine - that was our error and we accepted that. I don't mind the charge or being offered the bottled water, it just seemed the server was being deceptive in the way he proposed it to us. We ordered a few dishes to start and share. We asked for the pecking duck to start and for mains, my husband was going to have sushi and I was going to have the steak salad. We asked for the dishes to be staggered, duck first to share, followed by sushi and salad as mains.We also emphasized we were looking forward to the duck buns (this will matter later in the review). The server repeated the order back to us. Here is where it really went awry. The sushi came our first, so my husband felt awkward eating his dish without me having anything. Then they brought out the pecking duck on this odd serving tray that made it difficult to serve ourselves. Later, we realized they didn't bring my salad and when we asked our server told us the kitchen was backed up. There were no more than 20 people in the large lounge at the time, so that was a huge miss. We ended up canceling the salad. Lastly, there was a super rude server who kept reaching over our plates WHILE we were eating to wipe up any spills or messes on our table. He did this multiple times. It was incredibly rude. All the service issues aside, we were mostly disappointed by the pecking duck. The menu says it is served with duck buns but we received pancakes instead. For $90 for half duck, we expected it to be better than what it was. It was truly underwhelming. The sushi rolls were good, but doused in sauce. Lastly, they tacked on a full tip to the bill and had a suggested gratuity based on the bill with tip already included. It seemed a bit grimy and again deceptive. For a lousy lunch we spent close to $200. I don't mind spending money on a good meal, but I do mind feeling like I've been cheated. I've given this spot 2 stars because the ambiance is nice and I have been there in the past and had had a good experience. Hope there service turns around. read more

The noodles had no taste and the cutlet was a burger patty. Took one bite and told the waiter I didn't like it (this was our second waiter as our original waiter disappeared). Waiter said he would speak to a manager, came back 10 mins later stating he was still waiting to talk to the manager, finally came back and said "because you ate 1/2 we can't do anything about it", I asked to speak to the manager who was MIA the entire time we were there. Manager Ali finally came over, very unprofessional, just shrugged and said "I understand but.....", didn't finish the sentence, grabbed the dish which was clearly barely touched and walked away saying "I'll take it off". I had a very unique experience at this place. Met up with a few friends here and had a OK time. The place was tough to find and you have to take an elevator up to the 2nd floor. My friends got lost finding it and for me I found it alright but the elevator was strange and took forever. Once off the elevator I was greeted at the elevator by a security guard who demanded ID and also to know if I had a reservation. I gave ID, but I wasn't sure if my friends made a reservation as my friends arranged this dinner, and just told me to meet them there and were already inside. I let him know this but he just kept repeating the same reservation line despite me giving both my friends names and explaining. I found this to be very off putting. Also there was someone who was seating people. She said "I'm going to need you to move" while I was trying to text my friends and ask them who the reservation was under. I get it I was probably in the way but it came across again as rude right off the bat. Most people would say "excuse me" or "sorry coming through" something to that affect. It gave me a snooty vibe really. Which is 100% not my style. But ok, I get it. When I finally got inside I noticed it was stunning. The decor was really beautiful. Pink/purple trees and leaves with cool lights. I couldn't help also to notice that it was rather empty in there as well. Which shocked me since they kept going on about the reservation I thought surely the place must be packed right now. It was also probably the darkest restaurant I've ever eaten in. They put a lamp on the table but still really dark. Good for a date probably? Waiter was really nice. I had some nice appetizers. For the meal I ordered the Branzino. It was nice, but I've had better. The desserts were cool loved the lava cake. The Sakura thing was cool with the filtered tree. Interesting concept, didn't enjoy the taste though. I was expecting a little better especially after the treatment at the door because if your going to act snooty at the door the food better be top chef level inside. Final take away: To me this place seems like it was more about the social media hype and the "Instagramable"ness of the place and keeping the feel like it's an exclusive place to be, the snootyness at the door might be manufactured so you feel like you have to be special to come in. We made reservations which is highly suggest as this is a very popular spot. It's hard to find but there is an elevator entrance on the side that we took to the second floor. We were greeted and seated immediately. The ambiance is absolutely gorgeous. The blossom flowers and mirrors. Once you enter the event space it's LIVE. DJ playing strobe lights etc. the DJs really were the highlight of the evening. They spin tunes and sang. The entertainment does not begin until 10pm so please keep that in mind. The show is def adults only and highly sexual but no nudity. The show is short and entertaining. Now onto the food and service: everything started off so well. Our server came immediately and orders were taken. The food came out relatively quick. It is experience and the portion size does not match the pricing. I left hungry and I got appetizer and main choice. My friends were not please with their dishes. The service got worse throughout the night. We were left sitting for over an hour After we were done waiting for the check. I get it Sunday night and birthday season but the service has to match the cost. We had the ask numerous times for utensils. There's a discretionary amount added for gratuity which is odd . We were charged 35. Also beware of that. The menus are all on a tablet. For our entrees I got the Hawaii fried rice with shrimp and she got the seafood nest.
