Andy came out to take a look and give an estimate, and while he was here we discussed other major work on another locust that would keep our roof safe in the future. I was impressed by Andy's knowledge and experience, and his estimate turned out to be slightly lower than another estimate we'd gotten, so we went with Dominant. A few days later Matthew arrived right on time with his crew. In addition to the branch removals, tree shaping and trimming, Matthew took the time to replace an old cable on our biggest locust that he saw was cutting into the bark with a superior cabling system. He and his crew were all so helpful, pleasant, and respectful of the yard and garden. Despite all the heavy branches that needed trimming, there was no damage to anything and cleanup was above and beyond. If you need this kind of work done I can highly recommend Dominant to take care of you.

Rob also gave me some advice on how I can improve health conditions of other trees that are on my yard. I am thinking of using Crown Tree Solution for tree pruning too. * Bottomline: Very good value for the professional tree services.

So I admit it, I hate leaving reviews. I am definitely one of those people who leaves a pissed-off…read morereview but I have a bad habit of not reviewing quality individuals and their services. Westside Tree Care and Patrick specifically are fantastic. We reached out to him back in January about removing three incredibly large trees from our property. Not only was his quote the most reasonable out of the numerous companies we had come in but honestly he, was the most respectful to deal with. I had several individuals flat-out asked me was it okay for them to speak to me and give me quotes or would I rather have my husband there. Yeah, thanks but no thanks. Patrick is respectful, will answer any and all questions, and will walk you through every single step of what he's going to do. When we had to change direction because the city would not grant us permission to remove our trees, he was able to come in and prune them back to something that I can actually live with. Let me tell you, I hate these trees so it seemed really difficult that just your pruning alone anything was going to happen to make me any happier about still having them on my property. It is three days later, and I cannot believe the difference that printing back these trees has made. We actually get light into our backyard and sunroom now. The trees are still there but they are definitely not as bad as they were are we completely owe that to Westside tree care. Every single surface that Patrick and his associate worked on was completely cleaned up at the end of the day to the point where you would barely know they were here except for a few grains of sawdust on the grass. Our patio was spotless, and there was not a straight twig or leaf or branch anywhere on our property. Patrick and his associate ended up coming back two days later to take down a problem tree at my across the street neighbors. Clearly, anyone who sees him work recognizes that he is a consummate professional of the highest level. My next door neighbor has already asked for his contact information as she has problematic trees on her property. If anyone has any questions about his work, I encourage them to reach out to me.

I found Westside Tree on the Nextdoor app, and I'm so glad I did! Patrick was one of the very first to follow through with an estimate--after too many no-shows from others. He even managed to get in and out of our yard for the bid without waking my dog or my kiddo... serious ninja skills! Patrick was quick to respond, flexible, and worked around our schedule with ease. On removal day, Patrick and his crew arrived right on time--ready to work, even on the hottest day of the year. They were professional, communicative, and impressively clean in their work. My 7-year-old even noticed, saying, "That whole team was really kind, Mom." When they were done, the yard looked exactly as promised--and they even picked our apples and set them aside so they wouldn't be crushed by falling branches. It's those little touches that truly set a company apart. Thank you, Westside Tree, for making a tough job such a great experience.
