My first experience with this company. 5 star rating across the board. it's all in the details... First rate communication-if there was an issue with scheduling or a crew issue, I was notified right away. The crew showed up early - clarified my wants and needs. Performed the work efficiently. But what was really impressive was the use their skill set to do the work that went beyond what my expectations. The trees look great. The space looks great.. I would give them 10 stars if I could. read more

Great company! I was especially impressed with the safety measures. The crew had helmets and ear protection. They showed up on time and cleaned up as they worked. I would definitely recommend their services. read more

They have a high rating but, I would be cautious. I had them give me a bid from some work and it was a very reasonable 100 bucks. As I examined the paperwork it was actually written in scribblese, as what could only be interpreted as 900 dollars. Might have had the work done and had quite the surprise. I did not call to schedule, obviously. Other than that, the staff seems freindly, but definitely make sure to clarify anything that could be clerically misinterpreted. It was likely not an issue, but it raised my hackles. read more

This is the second time we've used Ecotree NW and both times it was an amazing experience. First time was, John was in the tree and he and his crew were on time, clean, quick and efficient. The second time Omar was the crew leader and he must have been John's brother. Love this company. Love their work and their staff are amazing. We'll be calling again. read more

Fabian and his team at Eco Tree NW did an excellent job trimming our trees and removing one tree at our home. We have a quarter acre and a number of trees, including some that are in our neighbor's yard. They handled this very well, were safe, and were thoughtful in ensuring we got appropriate permissions from our neighbors so that they could best access the tree on their land to trim in the healthiest and most aesthetically pleasing way for both parties. They also suggested some healthy pruning of other trees we hadn't considered that ended up being a fantastic choice, as the overall look is SO much better! We have more light, a bigger-looking yard, and still retained privacy between us and our neighbors. The trees also look healthier. I can't recommend them enough! Thank you, Fabian and Eco Tree NW! read more

Eco Tree is so professional. This is the second year I have asked for tree trimming. Quotes come quickly, easy to schedule, and arborists and workers are very professional, helpful, and efficient. I was scheduled between 10 and noon. They arrived around 11. They explained the best way to do the job and they did it. Thank you to the crew. Julie read more

I was referred to John by a client and met with him on July 29, 2024. He provided an estimate for tree trimming and recommended scheduling the work for late October. We set the date for October 30, 2024. On October 21, 2024, I received a call from Eco Tree NW stating they were no longer available and rescheduled for December 19, 2024. On December 18, 2024, at 8:30 PM, I received an email informing me that the work would be rescheduled once again. I had rearranged a flight to be back in town specifically for this job. Extremely dissatisfied with the late notice and poor customer service. read more

Fabian and his crew did an amazing job. Their detail and hard work was first rate. Have used other tree service companies in the past but Ecco Tree NW was by far the best. Great work, totally dependable and at a very good price point. read more

The team of three arrived exactly when they said they would. They knew what I had requested to be done and after a quick chat they went to work. They were extremely fast and efficient. I was absolutely amazed at how easy it was for them to cut down 30 foot branches 30 feet up in the air. They were an absolute delight to watch. Extremely efficient! When they were finished, they cleaned up everything and it looked as if they hadn't been there. On top of it all they were very personable, friendly, and willing to chat with me about what my desires were. I've used EcoTree about a dozen times and I don't think I'd use anybody else. To top it off the prices are absolutely the most reasonable of anybody in town. read more

Excellent service and a great experience. Needed some Leland cypress trees pruned and one dead Japanese maple removed. Free estimate provided, clearly communicated and in writing. Set up appointment to do the work within a week. Came right on time, completed work ahead of schedule and under budget. Cleaned everything up completely. All around great experience. Provided good advice for future maintenance as well. Highly recommend! read more

We had an emergency regarding a Hazard Tree that is about to fall and damage our house. We contacted Eco Tree NW and assessed the issue. They scheduled us the very next day to remove the tree. They were prompt and very professional on the work they did. We were very happy for the service they provided. Definitely will recommend and will use them again. read more

Great working with this company. The estimate provider was on time and professional! The work got done at the time it was scheduled.

During a spring windstorm, we had down a large hemlock come down and damage the cedar next to it. EcoTreeNW was able to quickly come out and clean everything up and inspect the cedar to ensure it was safe to remain standing. Very pleased with their approach and advice. Darrin and Zeke were awesome...very professional and knowledgeable. They checked out all our other trees and educated us on how to better care for them to keep them healthy. read more

Eco Tree NW crew did a great job with my project in Mukilteo. They removed and trimmed a number of trees and really opened up the view. I appreciate all their hard work, ability to be flexible with the project and truly deliver results. Thanks Eco Tree NW! read more

Eco Tree NW trimmed numerous trees in our HOA community today and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them for tree trimming. We have also used them for tree removal in the past and look forward to using them again. The pricing for the amount of trimming they did was very fair. read more

I needed two trees taken down, and another difficult to reach tree topped. Everything about the process with Eco Tree NW was fantastic. The communication was great and timely, the entire team - from the quoting to the actual work done - was extremely knowledgeable, and the job was done to perfection. The team showed up when I was told they would show up for both the quoting and the removal, which is a great thing. I've got no notes for improvement. read more

Jim gave a competitive price to cut down several arborvite in my front yard. He had a crew that worked on Saturday so that was convenient as I wanted to be home to monitor the job and move my cars out of the way. The crew (two guys) were very friendly and knowledgeable. On the morning of the job, I added a few other trees and stumps to remove and grind. They gave me an onsite estimate which I also found rather reasonable. They worked efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly once they were finished in each area. Two of my neighbors actually hired them on the spot for a quick tree removal also. I will use this company again and highly recommend them. read more

Excellent service, start to finish, competitive pricing, and active communication and process in completing the pruning of established overgrown trees of several types. Fabian and his three man crew worked so hard, left our space and that of our neighbors in good order, and the results were exactly what we had hoped for, with true care for wellbeing of the trees and leaving our trees well pruned and looking great!! Will recommend with confidence, this company which will be my new go to tree trimming providers!! Thank you Ecotree NW and Fabian and your crew!! read more

Was able to get my estimate visit right away. John did a great job recording everything I wanted done and returned a few days later with crew. They did a fantastic, professional job and were done in a surprisingly short time. They did a thorough cleanup. Removed a number of trees, pruned 4 other trees, and chopped down the out-of-control bamboo. Awesome job! Very impressed! read more

They were so great. I was able to schedule so quickly with them and the crew that came out was so professional and nice to our young boys who were glued to the window to watch. Will definitely use again in the future and would recommend their services to everyone!! read more

My recent experience with ECO TREE NORTHWEST is a very poor one. I have an apple tree that is pruned every other year. Eco Tree put me on their schedule; it's the time of year when pruners are busy so 4 weeks out was acceptable, but when Jason showed up a month later he said that he was not going to be able to do the job because he's tied up with a $10,000 job and he was only going to break even on mine. Granted, it's a small job but is it good business practice with your customers to keep them waiting a month for the service only to be told to look for another company? I think a better response would be: "You've been a loyal customer. . .we'll do it as promised and agreed but in the future I will fit small jobs in as I can and my minimum of $XXX will increase." I would have spoken to the owner, but Jason IS the owner. So, based on my experience, if you're a small job be advised that they may schedule you but leave you in a lurch later if a more lucrative job comes along. I don't call that business integrity. read more

Jim and his crew did an excellent, efficient job removing a huge, dying, double trunk maple on my property. The bid was extremely reasonable given the size of the tree. They arrived on time. They gave me specific instructions regarding the recommended power drop. They piled up the wood next to my driveway, cut in perfect length pieces that could be further split for firewood, easily accessible for hauling away. I will definitely use this crew for future tree-removal and trimming needs. read more

This is the 4th time we have used Eco Tree NW for tree work - both removal and pruning. This time it was to remove a very large Douglas Fir in order to let in some sunlight when the sun is low between late Fall and early Spring. (We will be re-planting the area.) Eco Tree NW as always was prompt, responsive, efficient and very professional. They took care to remove all logs and other debris. We recommend them completely. read more

Awesome work -- highly recommend! Had EcoTree NW come take down a holly tree that was taking over our power lines. The crew (James, Ethan, and Dave) were very professional and courteous. They were respectful of our property (as well as making sure not to encroach our neighbor's property), and I was impressed with how organized, efficient, and fast they were. Thanks again! read more

I met Jim a couple of weeks ago when a mutual friend gave me his name. I could not have been more impressed; he came out, looked at my property, shared his expertise with tree diagnosis, and asked what I wished to do. When John, who works for him, came, he was right on time (He had contacted me twice to ascertain times and dates, as my schedule had changed). John was incredible: physically versed in the job, capable, knowledgable, experienced, efficient - AND he cleaned up the yard completely, making it look as though mere stumps had been there all the time. When I asked him how he came to work for Jim, he shared that he did so due to Jim's good reviews, stating that he would not work for anyone with a poor standing/review/reputation. So, if you are looking for 2 men with integrity and a great tree service to boot, call this company!!!!!! read more

I have used this company after a recommendation from a good friend. Easy to communicate, quick service, and I recommend doing business with them. I first had a stump ground from my backyard and then some branches removed. Will likely use them to take out a few trees. Made a appointment for a estimate between 8:00am-12:00. He never showed up for that appointment. There are several way to get in touch with people nowadays, text, call, email. Why do companies think our time is worth nothing. I waited four hours and sent a email with no call back for two days. read more

After multiple bids, I chose Eco Tree NW to remove a large potentially dangerous tree from my front yard. I had exceptional experiences with all involved. The tree specialist was very thorough and the crew who came to take the tree down was prompt, efficient and courteous. Their bid was better than the others and I got much better service too. Can't beat that! If I ever have another tree issue, I won't hesitate to contract with them. read more

Great at cutting the trees (4 Stars) there, but cleaning up after (3 Stars). There clean up, was not so good, as my neighbor had limbs and other debris in his yard, which I did not realize until I saw him cleaning up. I should not have had to do that. Trees, great job, would have liked to see the trunks a little closer to the ground. I would suggest that you make sure you are out there when they are done, to sign off. read more

Tried to set up time for an estimate with them. They said they would send someone out to do an estimate between 10 and 1. 1 comes along and nobody shows up so I called to see what was going on and they said they didn't call to let to let me know they couldn't show up the day they said they would. I took the day off to be here when they said they would and they didn't even have to courtesy to call or send an email letting me know they wouldn't be here. read more
