We had a large bitch tree that was becoming a nuisance over the neighbors yard and making it impossible to garden. The leaves and seeds were everywhere and we couldn't keep up. We have an above ground pool for the kiddo and the tree also made cleaning a 2-3x chore. The shade was lovely, but the risk of it falling over in a bad windstorm and the upkeep was too much. We received quotes from multiple companies on Yelp and everyone quoted us 3-6x the amount we paid. They had a wood chipper truck I believe it was in front of the house and even used a blower to get rid of any debris. It barely took them any time at all.
