Finally tried Sky High Pizza and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Pedro pizza and added pepperoni + arugula--such a good combo. The crust was the standout: buttery, chewy, and just really, really good. Service was just as impressive. Our order took a bit longer than expected, but the manager was super kind and made up for it with a complimentary tiramisu, which was a really nice touch. Great food, great service--definitely coming back.
This pizza place is worth the stop when visiting Joshua Tree. Majority of restaurants were extremely long wait times for dinner (2-3 hours) so we decided to have some good ol pizza. We visited during the end of December so it was pretty cold to our standards which made it quite difficult to wait an hour outside. It was very busy hence the hour long wait, but it was much better compared to the 2-3 hours. It doesn't seem very ideal for bigger groups but we made it work + the portions made it great to share. I really enjoyed this pizza place but because it took a while , I think it was worth the first and only visit for me.

After a long day of hiking, we came here for dinner last night. Arrived a little before 6:30pm. You order first and then sit down. I ordered the Truffle Cream & Prosciutto Pizza, and my bf ordered the Langostino Lobster & Truffle Cream Pizza. Our pizzas came out about 25-30 minutes later. Both pizzas were really good. I loved that they were topped with arugula, which added a nice freshness and counterbalanced the heaviness of the pizzas. The crust was perfect and crispy; it held the pizzas up very well. For the prosciutto pizza, I could really smell and taste the truffle, which I liked. I love mushrooms on pizza so those were great. The balsamic glaze added a good sweetness to the pizza. Overall, I would really recommend this one. The lobster pizza was also very good. The sauce they used was slightly sweet and yummy. It paired well with the lobster. Overall, we had a wonderful meal.
Two of us shared the Sky High Pie, a pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Not all the slices were cut through. Tasty and fresh pizza but just a bit salty for us. Place a bit noisy but not very. The outdoor restrooms are shared with Joshua Tree Coffee next door and were clean
Found this spot across from shops on a Saturday night after the art walk across street. Got the warm apple pie wow was this super delicious, sweet and perfectly homemade. The blueberry muffin top was fresh with lots of chunky juicy blueberries. Cute casual place, looks like great pizza and good music and vibe. Nice staff too!
Every time we come to Joshua Tree we drive by this place and say we need to stop by, well we finally did. It is a small restaurant located in the heart of Joshua tree. They offer Pizza, small Italian dishes and beer. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the wonderful staff. We decided to keep it simple with pepperoni pizza & fountain drinks. The pizza arrived to us and it was fresh out the oven. So tasty , the pepperoni has a perfect kick to it we will definitely be back again soon.
Honestly terrible tasting and low quality food. Double pepperoni pizza was small for $22 and it hardly had any pepperoni on it. There was drama with a patron and they didn't kick him out until he said people were being unalived in the back of the restaurant because we complained. We were quoted an hour and a half wait time for our terrible food but it was sooner than that. Tiramisu had cinnamon on the top. It barely had taste and wasn't good at all. Cannoli was just ok. Meatballs and garlic bread some of the worst I've ever had. No clue how this place had any good reviews. Service was friendly but that's all I can give them.
Probably best meal we had on our vacation. We tried three pizzas - all were great - and the key lime pie and cookies were equally good. Highly recommend.

By the time we received our pizza, the crust was so hard and crunchy. I think the pizza would taste better if it wasn't so thin and dry. Service was a bit slow (which makes sense for a Saturday evening) but staff are attentive and friendly! We were sat inside but the front and outdoor patio look nice and a good spot for groups.
Outstanding pizza: thin crust and lots of flavor. We tried the five cheese and the Korean BBQ pork belly. They were both delicious. My only complaint is that the five cheese was skimpy on the toppings, it was however very good. We had to place an order in person, but it was ready quickly.

It's a great place to go after climbing and definitely a fan favorite, even if it's not quite mine. The dough was a bit too much for me personally. One of the best pizzas in the US. Reminded me of some of my fav pizza spots in NY and SF. The servers are so kind. They let us stay beyond closing hours. The pizza was phenomenal- excellent toppings with mushrooms arugula and chicken! Really made my day to eat here. The place is in downtown and easy to find. Would love to visit again. Also very nice location and comfortable interiors. The vibe is lively. read more

The service was really the only good thing about this place. Staff is friendly. An immediate turn off is that they don't accept cash, yet charge a 3% fee to use a card. As a customer you're automatically getting an upcharge just to give them your business. There was maybe about 2-3 other parties in the whole place, with pizza taking about 25 min to be ready. We paid $12 for bagged salad, with wilting/browning lettuce, croutons, and that Kraft like parmesan cheese that comes in the green bottle. Plus the 3% fee to eat there. Got the Alfredo pizza. The dough is thin and SUPER dry. Hard as rock, takes more effort to bite through the crust than the croutons. I don't know if they were running low on ingredients or what, but hardly a sprinkle of cheese and we're still looking for the sauce, which would've been nice to maybe soften a dough a tiny bit. I wouldn't recommend it for the prices they're charging. There's not a ton of options out here, but I wouldn't recommend this one unless you have a good dentist on call for a possible chipped tooth. After a long, adventurous day of hiking and magnificent views in the National Park, Sky High Pie is the way to go. My friends and I came on a Monday night and the place was pretty packed. However, we were able to get our order in quickly and snatch a table. The staff who took our order was really friendly and informative. The restaurant itself is everything you want a small business to be. Quant, but spacious. Lively, but not too loud or overwhelming. There are restrooms out in the back. You can even see the room where they make their dough. My friend gave me this rec and what piqued my interest is that you can see the ovens where they make their pizza. There's just something so satisfying about seeing the process of how your dish gets made. We had the Greek Meatball and Langostino Lobster & Truffle. The Greek Meatball was so yummy, the feta and the greek meatballs complimented each other so well. The lemon zest component was a cherry on top. Now the Langostino Lobster & Truffle was a flavorful jackpot and when you dip it in balsamic vinegar & olive oil. Oooo just delightful. Both were amazeballs, but if the Langostino Lobster & Truffle is in season, I would definitely snatch that one first. The crust had a great balance of crunchy & chewy for both. I will definitely come again if I am ever in Joshua Tree. There's also a tiramisu slice calling my name. read more

Sky High Pie absolutely delivered. We had the Sky High Pie veggie pizza, the bruschetta, and the cannoli, and every bite was packed with great flavor. Fresh ingredients, balanced seasoning, and nothing felt rushed or thrown together. Beyond the food, the vibe was spot on--laid-back, welcoming, and easy to enjoy. Even better, everything was super affordable for the quality you're getting, which makes it a place you actually want to come back to (often). If you're looking for great pizza, solid sides, and a chill atmosphere without overpaying, Sky High Pie is a win. read more
3.8 stars I think this was my first time eating sourdough pizza and I liked it. Frankly, the only difference I can tell is the chewy texture of the pizza crust. It is a jaw workout, but, if I had to workout, I'd rather it always taste like pizza. I ordered the Aloha pizza ($23) and I don't wanna hear it! Pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza! The ham, while thick-cut, was actually very soft and tender. It tasted great with the pineapple. No complaints here. Service was good and outdoor seating is available. I believe their restroom is outdoors. Parking is limited free street parking. read more
Tried Sky High Pie in Joshua Tree and was really impressed. We ordered the truffle cream and prosciutto pizza along with the double pepperoni. Both pizzas were excellent. The truffle cream and prosciutto had great balance and flavor, and the double pepperoni was cooked perfectly with crispy edges and just the right amount of grease. You can tell the pizzas are well made. Good dough, quality ingredients, and everything cooked just right. No overthinking, just really good pizza. Worth stopping by if you're in Joshua Tree. read more

Great option for food in Joshua Tree! They have a lot of options, and also vegan and vegetarian options if you are looking for that. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. They only do whole pizzas though, no single slices. read more

Sensational Sky High Pie Pizza! The outer crust is perfectly crispy, with a thin bottom crust. The salads are really good too, as are the desserts. And the staff is great. Order in, or take out. There is a restroom outside that you need the code. The code is written by the back door inside. read more
Back in town and had to return for the spicy Diavola pizza. It's delicious. Word is widely out about this spot. It was packed. Line out the door waiting to order, almost all tables full. Lots of families and kids. Pro tip: head over there at 630PM or after to avoid the busiest time (I think, and from what I saw). They told me they have turned off online ordering for the holiday season. They are too busy! They didn't answer their phone either. I had to order in person for a takeaway. They quoted me 45 - 60 minutes but it was only about 30 min wait for my order. It was much more mellow by the time I left. I also ordered a Greek salad, delicious and fresh. I am a fan of Sky High. read more

The comfy, family-owned artisanal pizzeria across from the national park entrance serves up more than 20 signature pies as well as the classics. We got the Cheesy Margarita, a puffy crusted affair loaded with 5 different cheeses, including smoked Gouda, which gave it a deliciously tangy taste. They also have a wide selection of salads, entrées, local beers, wine, and desserts. Order at the counter and grab a table in the tiny dining room room, or grab one of the outdoor tables in good weather. Each pie has six slices and ranges from about $18-$23. Second time was the charm, Google AI hours didn't match reality. The Aloha regular crust was perfection, and it paired well with the local IPA on tap. My vegan spicy Daviola on gluten-free crust was a treat, meaty cheese, spicy vegan sausage. Hubs said my pizza on his crust would be his choice next time. Beer and wine online ordering, indoor and outdoor seating available, with reasonable pricing and great staff. We'll be back next time we drive through the area. Location-wise, we couldn't have asked for better. Very popular place, always a good sign. read more
This review is long overdue. I tried Sky High for the first time Dec 2023 - I was blown away. Came back to JT in May 2025 - still blown away. This time around we got the: - Diavola - Sky High Pizzas are SO DELICIOUS. Freshly made pizzas, really can't wait to go back. They have this cheesy Parmesan dressing/sauce, which we used to dip the crusts and my oh my, I've been dreaming of it since. I'm not from the area, but when I'm back in JT I'm definitely making a stop here to stuff my face with cheesy- bready goodness. You rock Sky High read more

Don't be deterred by the long line outside. The staff moves quick to take orders and get you situated. They're all so friendly and just easy to work with. The pizza crust is soft with the right amount of crispy. We had the rise and Shine Pizza with egg and it's just dripping with flavor... A must! If you come out to Joshua tree and are in downtown, this place is a must. The overall feel of the restaurant is small but very comfy and enough space to fit everyone. I'd definitely come back when I'm out here. read more

Absolutely delicious!! We got the lobster Langostino and truffle cream pizza, and it was the perfect snack for us five girls... But we definitely wanted to order more! The pizza took a bit of time to come out, but the outside was so beautiful so we decided to take some pictures and explore while we waited for the pizza. We sat under a shaded area underneath the tree and it was so beautiful. Would definitely recommend if anyone is going to Joshua Tree! It was so close to the farmers market and a couple of other coffee shops so it was a brilliant place to go to, and an excellent location. read more

It's a shareable pizza. It's a bit bigger than a personal size. I would say it's equivalent to a medium dominos size pizza.
