He said the calamari was cooked perfectly I sampled the appetizer which were hot and fresh. Morning was dried out. When the bins emptied they immediately filled them with fresh hot food. This is a buffet that I enjoy eating at, my go to, and reopened four days ago. Like many restaurants, Sky Buffet was closed due to COVID-19. I ate here today for the first time in many months and the quality of the food remains unchanged. They don't have outdoor seating but indoor socially distant seating. My husband and I had our temperatures taken on entry and at the buffet they had us select what we wanted and waiters/waitresses served us what we wanted so that we did not need to handle the tongs. Plates and dinnerware were disposable ones. The space is clean too. My favorites at the buffet are the coconut shrimp, sweet chili crispy fish, dumplings and stir fry crispy chicken. It is a good buffet but every time I have gone I have gotten extremely sick and so has my family

We (my husband and I) went on a Saturday afternoon (1:30pm) for lunch. It was vey busy. After reading the reviews we didn't know what to expect, people seemed to love it or hate it. We were greeted right away and hit the buffet. As a vegetarian, I've grown to be very selective in what I can eat and a lot of places have minimal options. I was glad to see a variety of options available. My husband eats everything. The food was very good, not amazing, but very good. Everything was hot and fresh and the selection was great. We did not try the sushi or desserts but I liked to see the ice cream pre-scooped into single servings rather than having a bunch of people digging into one vat of ice cream. My husband had a Tito Mai Tai and said it was very good! Not the best, but very good. The service was fantastic with minimal waiting time for drinks, refills, clearing dishes, and receiving the check. Overall we rated it 4.5/5 stars but we can only rate 4 or 5 stars on yelp, so 4 stars. We will visit again and recommend. read more

First time returned to the Sky after Covid. It was ok at its price range. If I remember correctly, the price was almost the same as 4 years ago. Selection was good although my favorite deep cooked pork shoulder is no longer there. The buffet was fairly decent as far as typical buffet food. Service is friendly. 3 stars is because the crab legs I tried the other day were VERY VERY BAD. Lots of Chinese dishes available, along with some American type food, seafood/ shellfish on certain days, freshly made sushi, fruit/ salad items, hibachi and ice cream for dessert! I find the quality of food is very much dependent on time of day and what day you go. The best time to go is when the parking lot is fairly full! This way you know the turn over of food is at its greatest, meaning that it's hot and fresh! On quiet days the food has obviously been there awhile and some of the chicken dishes may as well be chicken jerky! Checkout the prices online, it can be quite expensive if you're someone that doesn't eat plates and plates, but enjoys the freedom to try a little of everything! Food was great, wasn't that busy considering it was early afternoon. What wasn't great was our waitress, Emily. She gave us our bill but when I was figuring out what the total was including the tip, she kept coming over to the table and when I said don't worry, you're going to get a your money, just figuring out the total, she laughed. We weren't in there for more than two hours and there were plenty of tables available, maybe it was because one of us had a walker that bothered her because it took up space. I don't know but we won't be back because of her attitude, she needs to learn some patience. Maybe it wasn't busy in there because of her, who can say. We didn't even get the usual fortune cookies either and the plates are smaller and all the silverware is now plastic which she threw on the table with a small stack of napkins. I really tried to like the food. it was overall really expensive for horrible service. The pizza was very dry, in very small portions, and the crust of the pizza is very hard. The ice cream was hard. When I asked a waitress for more water she instantly looked at me and ignored me multiple times, When she came to collect the plates she had smacked my daughter, when I asked her about it she quickly denied and said my 8 year old daughter had punched her. I had the Pork fried rice, lo mein, crab Rangoon, chicken wings and the beef teriyaki which was very good! The place is immaculate! One of the cleanest I've ever been to. Also it's huge!! No problem finding a seat. If you drink there is a full bar offering exotic Polynesian drinks and all the domestic stuff. The service was excellent. Very fast, cordial and respectful. Paper towel and soap dispenser out of order. Patrons must wear mask while moving around and also must wear plastic gloves, all provided free at the entrance. Best foods: peking ravioli, sauce is excellent. Fried chicken wings. Fried rice, which i like to eat with spicy mustard and sweet n sour sauce. Excellent. Ribs were stale. Pork tips, ok. Veggies, ok. Coconut shrimp very good. All kinds of shrimp were good. Did not try desserts. Sushi is made to order, so i did not want to wait. All you can eat, including sushi, $20pp. You get charged $10 a plate of discarded food. First try one piece before you load your plate with stale food and then discard it. There were over 40 different foods. Attendants are very attentive and kind. You can tell best foods by how fast the tray is emptying. We will go again. Three stars is average. Worst buffet I ever been. The food were either cold or uncooked. They don't cook the food, they just warm it up from the package. It made me vomit after I get home. Even worse service. My drink was never filled. My empty plates were never taken out of the table. And, they expect you to tip 20% although they didn't do anything for you. It was our first time here yesterday and I have to tell you it would be our last time. There were so many things went wrong here yesterday. Our experiences were beyond horrible. We came here in a party of 12 (9 adults+3 kids). We went to a graduation in Foxboro. We were so hungry when we got out. We originally planned to have a feast in Boston. Because of traffic, we decided to visit this Sky place from our family's consensus. We arrived around 2:15pm for the dining. First problem: I, myself, came to the sushi bar and ordered an "Unagi roll", but the chef said "it was Dinner only". I looked at the menu one more time, that particular item didn't have any label that said "Dinner Only". In fact, there were only 2 items that had such label. I thought my broken English was not loud enough, so I repeated the same order. The chef screamed like he wanted to spit at me: "Dinner Only!" I took a picture of the menu and attach it here. Does anyone see the item is indicated for "Dinner Only!"? It is #7 on the menu. Second problem: The waitress (her name was Mading or Mandi. I cannot recall her name) was horrible in service. There was another party table next to us. They were more like younger kids tried to celebrate their graduation. They were all drinkings and had some fun. For some reason, this waitress paid more attentions to them than us. OK, I guess because I was argued too much with the sushi bar's chef...my bad. Third problem: Now this is one of the most disgusting experiences ever. It has to be the most awkward moment we ever experienced in our 20 year history of eating out in US. At this moment I still cannot believe we had such a horrible "treatment". Around 2:45pm to 2:50pm, they brought out a few more dishes at the buffet tables. One of our family members went grabbing one of the items (something with the crawfish). The moment she came back to her seat, the waitress ran over and said "That is Dinner Only!" I was like what??? The waitress said their dinner menu started at 3pm, so these items started to come out. If we ate these crawfish, we had to pay extra. OK, well the extra $5 was not much of a difference but do you think your AMAZING AWKWARD EMBARRASSING BEHAVIOR would let us continued eating your "fancy" food? I just felt like I wanted to puke right there. Fourth problem: When we were about to leave, my wife had to rush into their lady's room from stomach-ache and chill feeling on her back.... 30 minutes later on the way home, my brother-in-law had to rush into bathroom from stomach pain.... I frequent the sky buffet on a regular basis. Everytime we go there the hostess always has a huge smile on her face, The waitstaff always is diligent and respectful and greets us with smiles and waves. The hibachi chef Chen always has a smile and an outgoing personality and is always ready to cook up your plate.... The sushi bar is OUTTA this world with Sky at the knife... The buffet food is constantly being refreshed so that it's hot and mmmmm good !!! My boyfriend and I swear that once you have experianced Sky buffet all other Chinese food places do not fit the bill..... The price for all you can eat is real affordable!!! I highly recommend that you stop by and give them a try!!! Yelp should put these reviews chronical order because if they did you would see that all the negative reviews are outdated and hold no bearing!!!! I still stand by the staff of the sky buffet because they have to deal with some very unpleasant,bossy, and down right rude people who do not take into consideration that they are not the only customers and expect the staff on a busy night to drop everything and just deal with them!!!! We came as a large group after a wedding rehearsal. Service was good, but that is where my positive comments end. Most of the trays were empty on the steam table were empty, and not refilled. Everything had an incredibly oily/greasy sheen. Everyone in the party had stomach issues for the next 24 hours.
