I thought the price was not too bad considering the portion size was fairly hefty (obviously not as cheap as the prices in NYC). The roasted pork was seasoned well! I did not feel the need to add soy sauce like I usually do. Some parts of the skin were crispy, but other parts were a bit more rubbery so I wish the crispiness was more consistent because the meat was tasty. I was also given a small container of chili oil which did not taste spicy at all, but was a nice supplement to add to the overall dish. Overall, I think this is a nice place to grab some budget friendly Chinese roast pork. I definitely want to explore other places, but I feel good recommending this spot for someone visiting Metro Atlanta.

Sadly... this is just a glorified Panda Express mingled with a new twist to the Korean-Chinese rendition of some items. The service is not the traditional waitstaff service. It's about as fast food as Checkers or even Sonic. You order either via kiosk or counter, you keep your receipt, wait outside, then someone comes out with your order as they call you by name. There is no dine in... only take out which, is fine since that is the model you're going for. In and out with some Panda Express style food So let's tuck in and review the food. It's Panda Express. The flavors might be a bit deeper but overall it's Panda Express. The Lo Mein has a deeper soy sauce flavor to it than what Panda Express offers, but it's still a Panda Express. I literally had the Pepper Steak and Beijing Beef which were apparently premium items so each item was about $1.85 additional price mark up to the $13 plate which consisted of 2 mains and 1 side and then a LG drink was which a bit over $3 making it about $18 total for upscaled Panda Express Americanized Chinese food. The pepper steak was your basic Panda Express style pepper steak with sauced up chunks of beef. The Beijing beef were fried and also covered in a sauce. No real spice to it either compared to their Panda Express competition where their Beijing Beef does have a slight... I mean an ever so slight like... your average American can handle slight spice kick to it. But overall, these two premium items were palattable and consumable to say the least but in terms of flavor, it's a big fat "meh". And it's not even that much Korean-Chinese as I was expecting the jjajjangmyun or the jjamppong. They offered a hybrid jjampong fried rice which I'm assuming is the fried rice fried up in the jjampong soup base to give it an extra kick and it also came in a wrap which is the new twist for extra portability. The serving dish is microwavable which was cool to see... But overall... it's a glorified Panda Express. Sure it's a new model that departs from their original sitdown joint that's about half a mile into the Gwinnett Place Mall circle at the Korea Plaza where they do serve legit Korean-Chinese food. Sure it's an ambitious direction at a location that is a business black hole. Sure it's located right off Satellite across from a couple of office parks which MIGHT circulate some customers but if they don't do something different and not be some Panda Express knock off, people will simply go to Panda Express and for what it's worth, Panda is a bit cheaper. This is Duluth where legit Chinese food whether it's truly Xi'an, Yunnan, Sichuan, or even Cantonese and even with Taiwanese hotpot becoming a thing, the competition will be stiff for just another Panda Express type joint and in my opinion, this place will need to stand out and do something different.

This sparse, brightly painted place is more of a butcher than a restaurant - where fans can buy various animal bits like Duck head, neck, feet, wing, tounge or gizzard (similar for chicken), also cuts of beef tripe, stomach and tendon or pork ear, feet and leg. They also have several seafood items like crawfish, river snails and mussels. It's my understanding that this is a particular style of traditional Chinese cooking where the focus is on all the bits that are often discarded in the US. It's for a discerning palate and stuff you might find from street-food vendors in large Chinese cities. For Atlanta this is a way to get flavors you wouldn't otherwise find, perhaps to deal with a longing for home. Thus the clientele is made up mostly of Chinese nationalists. We opted for two very similar dishes (we weren't aware how similar until we got them) - one was a soup with clear noodles and the other basically the same thing without the broth. I thought the broth fairly decent and the bits fairly fresh if very rich. I don't mind tripe, beef stomach, blood sausage and the like but I try to only get it in occasional bites - getting a huge bowl was a bit overwhelming.
