Skiptown is such a fun spot! The concept of an off-leash dog park combined with a bar is super cool, you can relax with a drink while your pup runs and plays. Great vibes, friendly staff, and an awesome place to hang out with both dogs and himans

Skiptown is truly a heaven for dogs and their owners. Although you don't have to have a dog to enter! They have a full bar/dog park, as well as boarding and grooming. Super fun to take your dog there and enjoy a drink or two after work (or while you work, they have WiFi!). Make sure to check this place out if you're looking for a dog friendly activity

We love this place! My dog Raven has the best time every time we go to the bar & park (3-4 times a week lol). Amber is amazing & we love seeing her everytime we're there :) trivia Tuesdays and bingo Thursdays are our favorite!

    Ready for that zoom mtg.

Amazing! Highly recommend. Incredible staff, fun dogs, great humans, and it's really assuring to know all the other dogs are healthy and monitored. My pup is 1 y/o and needed dog and human socialization--it felt a little intimidating at first, but the skipper staff are great at watching the dogs and keeping everyone safe. When I say "Skiptown" my dog RUNS to the back door, ready to go.

Nice trails all around the building & a cute park with lots of grass for your pup in the rear .

Nice place for pups to play & burn energy. They also have doggy daycare & grooming available. Huge dog park with a beer bar, snacks & coffee options . People come for hours and work on their laptops. Indoor & outdoor seating available.

First day of daycare pic that they send home!

My one and only complaint about Skiptown is how I didn't come up with this concept sooner! If you're a dog owner and you're over 21, you will love this place. Skiptown is a dog lover's dream. I actually don't think you even need a dog to get in here, but of course, much better when you can bring your pup in here to tire them out. It's essentially a fully off-leash dog park with a bar that serves coffee, cocktails, beer, wine - all the yummy bevs, but highly recommend their Frozen Espresso Martini. They have membership options where you get unlimited access to their facilities and get discounts on their boarding, grooming, daycare, and training services. They do have drop-in too for $15/day per pup and fun fact: humans get in for free! My dog and I absolutely LOVE this place. A few musts before you get in here: it's 21 and up only and your dog has to be spayed or neutered with their vaccine records uploaded on the app before you can get in. All good things tbh! The space is clean and open and staff has always been warm and friendly and I love that they have "Skippers" all over keeping an eye on the dogs and making sure no one gets too rowdy/crazy/humpy. They're also great about picking up any #2s that are bound to happen and sanitizing the area immediately. Skiptown is pretty much my new fave hangout in Denver. Highly recommend!

    Excellent dog park.

Really great place to hang out with your dog. The staff are very friendly and great with dogs. The drink and snack bar is well stocked. They have cocktails, beer, sodas and coffee drinks. They also have big screen televisions so you can watch sports. Just don't wear any favorite shoes. You never know if a dog will decide to use you to potty.

Prior to visiting Skiptown Denver, we registered Forbes online and uploaded his vaccination records (this is required for all dogs).

This off-leash dog park in Denver has a full bar onsite... Last weekend, we took our dog, Forbes, to Skiptown Denver and this place had us all wagging our tails. This off-leash dog park in the heart of RiNo was more than just a playground for pups; it was a full-blown dog lover's paradise. Prior to visiting Skiptown Denver, we registered Forbes online and uploaded his vaccination records (this is required for all dogs prior to play or stay). As soon as we entered Skiptown Denver, Forbes's tail went into overdrive. The indoor/outdoor park was buzzing with happy pups, and Forbes immediately jumped into the action, making new friends and zooming around. Skiptown Denver provided the perfect environment for Forbes & all the other dogs. The spacious dog park offered ample opportunities for running, playing, and socializing. Skiptown had staff actively onsite monitoring dog play, water level in dog bowls, and cleaning up after the pups. While Forbes was busy with his doggy social calendar, we grabbed some beers and chilled at a table by the bar. Skiptown offered pretty much everything a dog owner could need, from daycare and boarding to grooming and training. They even had a walking service, so your pup can get their daily exercise fix. I highly recommend checking out Skiptown - your furry friend will thank you.

A view of the backside building facing the backyard patio bar. The outdoor area is huge, this was just the entrance part.

The place is huge! Indoor and outdoor spaces to hang. My dogs loved it. Staff was super kind. The whole place was spotless for a dog park too.

Our dog loves going to Skiptown. There is a nice big play area for the dogs, good drinks, and great staff.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. It's WELL worth the investment, and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in your dog. Thank you Loyal Hound & Juliet!!

I am looking forward to taking my two Samoyeds on walks again while walking my toddler in a stroller without having to worry that Hope will pull us. Trained dogs are safe dogs and I'd pay for the training with Juliet 10x over. Worth every penny! It makes my life easier as a single mom managing all the things to have two dogs that get to enjoy being outside with us because I trust them and they trust me. A complete contrast to our older collie/aussie mix, he was full of energy and naughtiness (a puppy), and a nightmare to control. Prior to being surrendered by his (previous) family, he went through two weeks of out of home boarding/training, costing upwards of $7,000. We thought this would have helped with obedience, but boy were we wrong. Fast forward two and a half years, sessions with a certified behaviorist, and failed attempts to use an e-collar, we were at a loss. He constantly displayed leash reactivity, would lunge at cars and dogs, and made it so we would rarely walk anywhere. He almost broke my finger during a break free lunge at a dog completely across a residential street! At home, dog forbid another animal appeared on the tv; he would jump and bark at everything. Then we found Chill Out... After the very first session with Scott, our big boy golden was a different dog. Scott set is up with the right tools to refocus our dogs behavior and break him of his leash reactivity. That very first walk was pleasant and uneventful. We almost felt foolish for claiming bad behavior. What we needed was the right trainer and methods to help our dog change behavior. Like I said at the beginning, I can't recommend Chill Out Training enough.

During Kendrick's initial board-and-train, he had a seizure. Quinn stepped in immediately, took great care of him, and kept us informed while we rushed home. Knowing he was with someone so attentive and compassionate made an incredibly stressful moment much easier. On top of that, Pavlov honored the remaining portion of his training, and Quinn welcomed him back once he was ready to complete the program. That level of flexibility and integrity speaks volumes. Everything from Pomeranians to Labrador and Golden Retrievers and every breed, temperament and personality in between. It's easy to find trainers but it can be really hard to find a GOOD trainer! Over the years, we've spent thousands on dog behavior veterinarians, breed specific trainers, and your basic pet store group classes. All of these can work for some dogs, but not all. We lost our two black Labrador brothers this past summer to age related health problems. We were completely devestated. We didn't know if we could do it again until Jack decided for us. Jack is a male Bichon mix rescue, but who rescued who? Jack rescued us - literally ! When we got Jack home we wanted to start out on the right foot immediately. We used two online trainings - waste of money and time. We asked, searched and found several self-proclaimed and "guaranteed results" trainers. You had a time limited training. From past training experiences, if your dog didn't learn everything in that timeframe you were left feeling frustrated and confused as to what to do next. Then we found Adrienne at Bark Busters. They aren't inexpensive, but when we found out they would be partners for the life of our dog, we were hooked. In over 40 years of our dogs and training, Adrienne is the ONLY trainer who actually knows what she's doing. Jack began training as a timid puppy who then developed into a defiant teenager with an attitude. Adrienne has given us the tools and behavioral changes we needed to make to consistently provide Jack with age appropriate expectations. We now understand how to think like a dog and speak "dog". Jack is becoming calm and confident that we are the leaders and he can enjoy being a puppy. Thank you Adrienne!
