What can I say, Chris Demirdjian, the owner of SkipNServe is the Michael Jordan of Process Serving. He epitomizes professionalism and a superb mastery of his craft. Not only that, he genuinely cares about his clients. He doesn't try to upsell you other services or do any kind of bait and switch. In my opinion, he is not in this business solely for the money. This is a labor of love for him. I had a case where we could not serve a guy. We tried the Sheriff and other 4 other Process Serving companies, but Chris, who was initially trained as Private Investigator, used his skills and training to figure out when the guy would leave the house. He did the old Robert Redford trick from the movie The Sting, where he put a piece of paper and wedged it in the garage door the night before. He got there the following day around 7:30 am and saw that it was still there. He waited until about 8:10 am and left to go serve another paper. He came back around 8:30am and saw that it had dropped to the floor. He then knew that he leaves the house between 8:10 and 8:30. He did this for 3 consecutive days and the pattern was the same. So, on the 4th day he got there around 8 and waited. Sure enough, at 8:20 the garage door opened and he served the guy. In another case, he recommended some other avenues for me to take that steered business away from him and ended up being the correct approach for me to take. He's not just a Process Server, he also finds people that don't want to be found. I had to locate one of the defendant's in my case who no one could find and even hired some well-known PI's. No luck. I called Chris and he found them. It did take him longer than expected, but that was because they were making an effort not to be found. Finally, I gave him a collection case last month and he was able to locate their bank account and place of employment. We first served the bank and got most of the judgment amount and then served the employer with the Wage Garnishment. We are now receiving the balance in increments each month for the next 6 months.   Chris is truly a one stop shop. He is determined and truly loves what he does. I must admit, I was very hesitant on using this service as I tend to be very leery of things I am not very familiar with. When getting my initial quote from SkipNServe, I was asking myself, do I really want to invest more of my money just to chase and try to recoup the court ordered amount. I felt lost on how to continue to move forward and felt like the other party was going to get away with not paying what he owed. I had no other attempts I could make on my own as the defendant was making it known he was not planning on paying. At this point in the process I decided to give SkipNServe a shot as I felt that it would not be fair for the other party to get away with such behavior. I justified the extra expense that I was about to pay this company that if anything, at least it will let the defendant know that I am not going to let him get away with his actions that easy. The truth is that the court system can be a big joke, but having a company like this really does make a difference for people like me who get lost in the system. I have already used this service 3 times since I initially contacted this company. Each time I have had a successful outcome. Chris is a top-notch professional and great individual to work with. He helped me to get someone served in a restraining order matter in which I had previously attempted to have served 9 times (All within a 2-3 week timeframe). Each time was unsuccessful and I tried with both the sheriff's department and another private process serving firm. I read the yelp reviews about Chris and decided to meet with him and chose him to be my process server. When I met with Chris he assured me that my restraining order would get served within a week. I was very skeptical that this could get done because the person I was trying to serve was so elusive. I had to serve small claims paperwork and already had one failed attempt by the sheriff (he went to the wrong address even though I had the correct one on the paperwork). I was feeling discouraged about going to the courthouse again because the staff there made me feel stupid and incompetent. Chris at Skip N Serve got the job done! Previously, I had to postpone my court case twice because the other process servers I originally used were unable to have the papers served to the defendant in time. Even the Sheriff was unable to serve the papers! Chris got the job done via substitute service. What blew me away was his perseverence and dedication to doing things correctly on my behalf-Although Chris located the out of area residence and could have served the papers on his first contact, Chris did NOT serve the resident at the address I provided because they did not match the description and information I provided. Chris showed concern and professionalism to make sure I had the defendant identified and located properly per the courts requirements. After waiting a few days for me to confirm the address was correct by going to the tax assessors office, Chris then had to make multiple attempts to make the service because the resident was not at home. If you need to have somebody served, or any help with paperwork, Skip n Serve is who to call. Chris goes above and beyond to help. I was filling out paperwork about six months ago at the small claims division of the courthouse, and had to keep going back to the window, to correct or fill out something I missed. The service that I received was fast and efficient. The moment I called and spoke to Chris it was very obvious to me that he knows what he is doing and seamed educated and courteous on the phone. Chris asked me some questions and led me in the right direction as far as my case filing. Per his advice ,I modified my claim to avoid any issues in the future. When I left a message, I received a callback in a timely manner. Chris even went out of his way and filed the proof of service documents. This was not part of his job and would cost me additional money but he was nice enough to do it complementary. This is how customer service should be. Like many others, I came to Skip N Serve after a horrible experience with another process server who advertises for cheap all over the internet and under many different names. To defeat your enemies in a court of law you must first serve them papers. Certain people are skilled at staying hidden and refusing service, and when this happens the Sheriff's Dept is probably not going to be of much help. They failed three times over the course of two weeks at the defendant's work address and ended up returning the paperwork two weeks before the trial date. Thanks a lot, Sheriff's Dept. Now I have to get a new trial date, and hire a professional. Chris at Skip N Serve is to the Sheriff's process servers as a Navy SEAL is to a Parking Enforcement woman.
