We had a very evasive, house-hopping, freelance-gig-working defendant whose forwarding address was incomplete, and we were extremely concerned about whether we would be able to get him properly served before our hearing. I talked to several process servers and explained all our struggles and difficulties. I asked each of them how they would handle the situation if our defendant proved impossible to serve after trying. Chris's answer to that question was a confident laugh and, "I will have him served." That's why I went with him, and I am very happy I trusted my gut.
