Vera was eagerly waiting for me upon arrival, and she gave me the quick run down of insuring I had no medical history, injuries or the like. I got myself laying face down on the heated massage table (which was lovely on a rainy afternoon) and she quickly got to work. Vera: Okay, I will need to do some cupping. Me: Okay Vera: Okay, now I will do some re-alignment. Me: Okay Vera: Okay, we need to do some stretches Me: Okay Vera: We are going to do some lymphatic drainage. Me: Okay She could have told me she was going to tattoo the Last Supper on my back, and I probably would've said the same thing. She was so in tuned to what my body needed, that I just surrendered. The cupping, which was my very first experience, didn't hurt at all, which was what I was quietly panicking about, but I will say for the day after, and the day after that, my body really felt like it went through the ringer! It's really a whole body detoxifying process that I was very open minded to, would get it again, if I ever allow my back to get this messed up. Overall, I feel I can breathe better, and feel just a bit taller! I was absolutely stunned with the full mobility I had in my left shoulder that I had lost for some time, and my neck hump is much better than it was. Can't wait to go back and see her again!

Her voice alone was calming and encouraged me to relax. The salon itself was clean and minimalistic and the ladies were like family. Before the massage, Tanisha had me fill out a form where I would write my limitations, pains, and discomforts and she sat down and we talked about everything in detail. The massage itself was warm and exactly what anyone with chronic joint pain needs. I will be back to support Tanisha and will recommend her to anyone looking for a great massage in Brooklyn.

I had a Swedish massage and she really spent a lot of time working on and released all the knots and tension in my body! I felt like I left there with a different body! She has a very caring, soothing and nurturing way about her and checked in with me during the massage to make certain her pressure and technique was comfortable for me. I loved her use of essential oils during my massage! I will definitely return for another massage! Treat yourself and make an appointment - you will thank yourself for it!

The best part of the massage was the ending because it was finally over. Here are my cons: * The masseuse left after 10 minutes because she needed to move her car - extremely unprofessional. * No relaxing music was played but rather I had to listen to each passing car. * The room was cold, there was a heater on the floor but it was not turned on nor did she ask if I was comfortable. * Cream/oil was used all of 2 minutes and honestly given the inconsistency in the massage I truly don't know if this woman was trained. * During checkout a woman (not the masseuse) asked if a tip was being left and when I said the tip amount she says "oh nooo" - excuse me what? Tips are not guaranteed and the service was terrible. She didn't care to inquire about how they could improve, etc. I ultimately left a $5.00 cash tip which is more than she should have received and informed her that I would be leaving a review. Please spare yourself and seek services elsewhere.

When I called to book an appointment the masseuse who picked up the phone kept cutting me off and wouldn't listen to what I was asking her first before I booked my appointment. I am a customer and customers questions must be answered first for clarification as it is rude to not allow a guest to ask for clarification in the first place. There are a few things I need to have clarified. 1. Are abdominal (belly) massages included with the massages? I need this included. 2. What types of facials and body scrubs are offered? 3. Will the massage therapists actually follow exactly what I tell them to do for the massage? Thanks. Please respond and answer clearly.
