Tiffany is awesome! Her place is really cute and really discreet - perfect for men that don't feel like walking in a middle of a salon full of women. Price point is also great! Will definitely go back there! read more

Tiffany... what can I say... she is the absolute best. I'm so lucky that I found her. I honestly dont know what I'd do without her. The atmosphere is super professional and so is Tiffany. She made me feel very comfortable from the moment that I met her. I know that I'll miss her when I go back to Texas. read more

I'd like to start by saying Tiffany is a really nice person, super easy to like and get along with- her location is convenient (free parking), and is nicely decorated. That being said she is the only employee at Skin so Fancy which makes it really difficult to get in for a waxing appointment as her schedule is so limited due to her demand as a make-up artist. It can also be a little difficult to get in touch with her to schedule and appointment. I also felt that although the first wax was great, she began to slip on every wax there after- i.e. many hairs left at end of waxing, not a clean wax, areas missed all together, request made and not remembered. I'm not sure if this is due to the fact that the waxing room space is quite small and the table is only accessible from two sides, or if it's a lighting issue, or a time issue, or vision issue/ memory issue. She does seem really knowledgeable so I don't think that is the problem. I think one of her biggest problems is that tiffany is trying to do everything for this business and maybe needs to get some more support staff. So due to the lack of availability and inability to get all hair off / a clean wax for a full Brazilian I can only give 3 stars. read more

I wish I had hair like Chewbacca just to get it removed by Tiffany. Sadly, I am a hairless Mexican AKA Electrolysis. With that being said I am lucky enough to get my eyebrows waxed. I had a amazing time at SKIN SO FANCY. it's super chic and clean. I enjoyed everything. I loved having the whole shop to myself. Talk about the house wives of LBc season 10. LOL... Thanks Tiffany read more

Skin So Fancy Wax Studio - I now how fancy brows. Thanks Tiffany - Waxing Near Me - Long Beach, California

Skin so Fancy is such a cute boutique. I went there one evening after work for a facial and I was pleasantly surprised. Tiffany (the owner behind this chic boutique) was very welcoming. The décor was uber cute, and she had gum balls for me to eat (I'm obsessed with gum balls). There was this beautiful mirror with a silver frame on one wall where she does makeup. I don't know where she got it, but it was a perfect addition to her hot pink and teal accents. Okay okay, enough about the decorations, and on to the facial!! AMAZING.. She used great products for my face and left it looking clean and black head free! The only downfall I have is that I wish it were longer. An hour was just not enough; it just kept me wanting more. I will for sure be going back to Skin so Fancy for my facials and of course gum balls! read more

Thank you Tiffany for providing me with such a great waxing experience! Brazilian waxes can be scary if you haven't had one in a long time. I will definitely be back! read more

Tiffany is an absolute angel. This was only my second time waxing, and my first experience at a different place wasn't great. I just think waxing is super painful and not really my thing BUT Tiffany made my experience so much better. Yes it was still very painful for me (I think its just me lol) but she was so understanding, made really good conversation, was super professional, and was just so nice when I was being a huge baby about the experience. If I decide to do it again I will definitely be coming back to Tiffany only, she really was that good! She listened to my requests and at the end gave me a lot of tips and education for post-care, and she also gave me some products for soothing and washing after. Thank you so much for helping me out!!!! read more

I was super-impressed with Tiffany, who is very much a goddess of waxing as everyone else here can attest to. She was friendly, personable, talkative (in a really good way), welcoming...everything you could possibly want in someone who has your brows in their hands! And speaking of brows, she did an incredible job. I came from another business (which I may have to review here on Yelp for contrast) that absolutely murdered my brows, but Tiffany waltzed in there and made them look good as new again -- probably better! She was careful and gentle; I never felt like I was being rushed. I'm only taking a star off because I'm not a fan of the florescent lighting, which makes it feel a little like a doctor's office -- and is kind of shame considering how adorable the decor is. Still, it's really more like half a star since I understand she probably needs that light to do as fantastic a job as she does! read more

Tiffany and her team are amazing. She did the make up for my October 6 wedding and everyone looked beautiful. She and her assistants did my make up, along with my eight bridesmaids, my grandmother and my mom. She is so good and so efficient!!! They came early, they finished early, 11 women felt like they were the most beautiful thing in the world! Her specialty is in making eyebrows look great. She puts enough makeup for great pictures, but not so much that you look crazy in person. She is so professional and pleasant, I can't recommend her enough. read more

LOVE SKIN SO FANCY! Tiffany is very gentle and she allow you to feel comfortable with her. I am low maintenance but I will always support her. THANK YOU TIFFANY FOR MAKING ME LOOK AND FEEL FANCY read more

I, too, have been blessed with not-so-sightly body hair. As such, I need to help myself as much as I can, especially in the ladies department. Although Long Beach can be a drive at times, I am glad I found Skin So Fancy. Tiffany always makes the waxing experience as quick and pain-free as she can, given the task at hand. She has these funny Chicken Little glasses that make me laugh and I think the gumballs are there to chew on while I grit my teeth. Either way, the experience is unforgettable and her place is nicely decorated. Her attention to detail is evidenced through her use of sugar after the main waxing to get all the hairs. Oh, and I even got to eat some of the sugar she uses to get the little stubborn hairs. Just ask her, she'll give you a taste. Seriously, it's good. But make sure you taste it before it has all your hairs in it. Another great thing I like about Skin So Fancy is that you can set up an appointment and it is in a place where a bunch of women aren't going to be staring at you like at a nail salon when a guy walks in to get a manicure or pedicure. So if you are hesitant because of that, this is the place to go to avoid that awkwardness! read more

I've been going to Tiffany for about 3-4 years now. Although I am a little low maintenance and I've been getting my eyebrows done maybe twice a year. When my eyebrows are a mess for months at a time, having them done by Tiffany makes me feel like a whole new person! She knows exactly how to shape and clean up my eyebrows. Just a few days ago, I got my lip waxed from her and it was quick and easy! She's also so great to talk to, which makes the experience a little less painful. She listens and remembers details about you. She genuinely tries to have a meaningful conversation, rather than on the surface small talk, and I really appreciate that. I love going to Skin So Fancy and will continue to go for as long as I can! Thank you Tiffany (: read more

I have been seeing Tiffany for over a year now. She's very personable and always makes you feel comfortable. Quality of service is beyond great! The room is always nice and clean. I do not trust any one else, but her. Thank you, Tiffany, for always being wonderful and keeping me look fancy. read more

I feel so bad for having to do this since I love going to her . nice small shop tucked away but two times she was late and now she didn't even show up for my scheduled appointment. Having a toddler and baby makes not even harder to get errands like this done so it was a huge disapontment and a huge waste of my time. Cannot reccomend. read more

Skin so fancy is the best place for your waxing needs! I had a fabulous experience! The studio was clean, quiet and relaxing. I also loved that there is a parking garage for clients! It's been a few years since my last waxing and I was worried about the amount of pain it might cause. Tiffany made sure to be sensitive to my "worries" and it didn't hurt at all!! I had my arms waxed and I'll be going back to get my legs waxed too! I would definitely recommend Skin so Fancy to all! I drive about an hour to get waxed and it's totally worth it!! read more

As an Iranian-Mexican man God has been overly giving with the body hair. Add to that the Machismo and that I am a football coach, and I have resisted body waxing as strongly as the British resist toothpaste. But with my wedding approaching, I knew that a smooth back was required. After a visit to Skin So Fancy I have been converted. Tiffany took great care to make sure each spot of my back was smooth, all the way to the plumber region. She kept me talking, laughing and so distracted that I couldn't believe we were done. My back looks so good, I may go for that ever painful chest next. After a bottle of Whiskey that is! read more

Today was my first visit to Skin So Fancy and let me tell you, I was so impressed. She was friendly, upbeat, warm, and welcoming. I was a bit nervous about getting a wax treatment, but her confidence spoke volumes and her ability to calm me was stellar. Tiffany was quick, precise, and very professional. I plan to come here on a regular basis! read more

I went to Tiffany for the first time today and I was BEYOND impressed with how super cute her boutique is, how personable she is and what an amazing job she did on my eyebrow wax. If you've ever been to a nail shop to get waxed you know it can be pretty much like playing Russian roulette. I've had bad experiences with nail shops, so I was a little hesitant but she was gentle and extremely thorough yet she was pretty quick. I have found my new go to girl for waxing and I am NEVER going to a nail shop again to get my eyebrows waxed. read more

I went to Skin So Fancy and had my very first bikini wax...I am so glad I did! I felt SO comfortable with the owner Tiffany. She relaxed me with her warm spirt and calming vibe in the boutique solidified the positive experience. I will definately be back and I so recommend her to others!!!!!! read more

Tiffany was so professional and made me feel very comfortable for my wax. Her place is super cute and girlie! I was worried about the pain, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. She was super gentle and reassuring. I will definitely be back and recommend her to EVERYONE!!! The boutique is very clean, cozy and quiet! Best waxing experience ever! read more

I have had every part of me waxed by many waxers over the years and I must say, I have met the best in the business. Tiffany's studio is super clean and very private. It's the perfect place for men to go who are nervous about being seen by room full of women going in to a salon. You can play your own music on the dock and relax while she goes to town. She is fast and as painless as it can be. A true professional. And you can't beat her prices!!! read more

If there is a waxing goddess, Tiffany is the one! I just had my appointment today and it was fun. I brought my sister, who wanted to get her eyebrows done, which she said didn't hurt compared to getting them at Famous in west Long Beach. So, I got my first Brazilian wax and was totally nervous, not about a stranger looking, but at the excruciating pain it would cause, turns out it was quite quick and almost painless. I really am thankful, I mean I practically screamed, "I feel like a brand new woman!" Feeling pretty? No, I'm feeling FANCY!!!! read more

After a stressful day of work, I needed some Fanciness. Called Tiff to get my brows taken care of. Such an amazing job and attention to detail! She took her time, chatted me up, and fell to relaxing silence she noticed I was dozing off. I have never been able to get my brows to be uniform on my own or at Asian salons. Tiff did that for me and they aren't feminine looking at all. I'll be making regular appointments for sure! After a stressful day of work, I needed some Fanciness. Skin so fancy was recommended to me by a friend who said the facials were amazing...and she was right! I got a facial from the owner, Tiffany, who gently cleansed my face and extracted all the built up. She also massaged my arms and neck and almost put me to sleep. After my hour and a half facial, I felt clean and rejuvenated. I was having some break outs and Tiffany gave me some tips that helped clear up my skin in no time. Highly recommend getting fancy with Tiffany! read more

I have had Tiffany do my makeup for a couple different special occasions and I have been blown away every time. I love how she always tries something new with me and really tries to create a whole "look" (she always makes me show her my outfit before we discuss colors!). I always leave her feeling beautiful and I get so many compliments on my makeup. She is also incredibly professional, so sweet, and really funny. Every session honestly feels like I'm getting ready with my best friend! Yay! I have seen many make up artists but she has some thing that a make up artist needs to have besides talent and that is her love for her work comes from the heart. Tiffany is so passionate about her work and it shows as she is doing her thing. I highly recommend her. She's absolutely amazing. You will be so happy (and pretty) that you did! read more

Tiffany is AMAZING! Brides, fret no more Tiffany will make you look and feel so absolutely beautiful! She is so personable and friendly and seriously so sweet. I showed her a picture of how I would like my hair and make up and she did an even better job. I got the air brush and it made me feel so fancy. She had great insight on what would look good on me as well as making sure it was how I imagined it to be. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER FOR ANYTHING. Trust me, you will love the look! I had a very pleasant experience at this salon on yesterday afternoon. I received waxing services for my eyebrows. Now, please hear me when I say I am a die hard eyebrow threading kinda girl. I have only horror stories when it comes to my past history with waxing. So, I was hesitant, but my eyebrows were in dire need & I really didn't feel like driving to the other end of California to go to my regular threading expert. After thumbing through Tiffany's (the owner) portfolio of makeup work she's done, I was very pleased with the product. It helped 1000% that her eyebrows were well groomed. Ladies, don't you hate having a consultation with a potential hair stylist& their hair looks like "Who did it & why?" You wouldn't want that ragamuffin to touch your crown, right? Lol....I say this to say Tiffany did an excellent job presenting herself as a business owner (very professional), very clean (her equipment was sanitized & I watched her sanitize the bed after services were completed), & her makeup was in check. She LOOKED like she knew how to apply it. As for my eyebrows, she gave me exactly what I asked for; a cleanup. As a matter of fact, this is the first time I had a really nice wax done on my eyebrows. No skin irritation whatsoever!! I was very comfortable knowing she's a CERTIFIED esthetician & versus the corner nail shop with no certification. No pipe dreams over here. Ms. Tiffany & Skin So Fancy will hook you up, no matter your needs. Men & women are invited. I'm certain you'll enjoy the experience. read more

Tiffany is awesome. She is very welcoming and makes you feel very comfortable. She waxed my eyebrows and did a GREAT JOB! I will be returning! read more

OMG...What an amazing facial I received from Tiffany!!! It was the most relaxing thing I have done in a long time. She asked questions first, which I liked and wanted to know what I needed and asked about my skin. I have been to other estheticians and they just go right in and start the facial. Tiffany took her time and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She also gave me tips on how to better take care of my skin. I totally recommend going to her. When I was done with my facial, she let me know that she does a lot more like waxing, makeup, and a ton of other things. I think Tiffany is going to have a lot of business from me!!! read more

I visited Skin So Fancy for the first time a few days ago for makeup services. First of all, Tiffany Carmona was awesome. She's super-friendly and kept the atmosphere fun and pleasant, even at 8am in the morning. That would be a task for me. As for the makeup services, she did a great job. A friend and I were there to get both of our faces "fancied" up and she was done in record time which allowed us to get to our photo shoot on time. PS: photos came out great. Thanks, Tiffany! read more

I have been going to Tiffany for over 6 months and LOVE her! I found her using an Amazon Local coupon and couldn't be happier that I purchased it! She's extremely friendly and puts you right at ease. I go for Brazilian's and she does a great job of making the experience as comfortable and quick as possible. I am moving out of state and had to write a review before I left because I'm so sad I won't be able to continue to go to her. And to give you an idea of how great she is, she even took the time to look for a new esthetician in the area I'm moving to! I highly recommend her! read more

This place was worth a shot! Tiffany made this waxing experience super fun and comfortable. I was glad she uses two types of waxes. It's hard finding a location that does this. Tiffany was very helpful with any questions and concerns I had as well. Overall Skin So Fancy had a new client! Thank you Tiffany for everything!!! read more

Tiffany is amazing! I recently got married in January. Tiffany and the Skin So Fancy team were at the top of my list for make-up and hair. All I can say is that it was an awesome experience! I contacted Tiffany roughly four months before the wedding. We talked about what my needs were and she sent a contract and discussed everything thoroughly. On the day of, Tiffany and Chris showed up promptly and set-up everything. They were so nice and interacted with all the ladies. They were so easy going, but very professional and know what they are doing. This is not the first time (and won't be the last time) that I have worked with Tiffany and her team. Each time I have felt like a million bucks! Tiffany is a true gem in the beauty business! read more
