I really like the way they welcome clients--especially first-time ones--and their professional approach to skin treatment; they take "before and after" photos, monitor the patient throughout the entire course of treatment, recommend the necessary procedures, and do their utmost to ensure client satisfaction. It was my first time visiting and using a special offer; they explained how the laser works, which procedures were needed, and the recommended intervals between sessions. I got a facial and I saw zero difference. It was so short, less that 3 minutes spent on my face. I have received facials before even from Skin Laundry a few years ago and you will see on your skin that you had a facial. Yes you need to continue facials regularly but if that one was pricey, 3 minutes long and ineffective, I am certain more would be a real waste of money. Then I tip 20$ because I just felt it was customary and at the time I thought surely I would see a difference maybe when I get home in a different light. And they want you to tip according to the price of 250$ not the promotional price of 75$. Then comes the upsell pressure. They want you to commit to a monthly membership. Though I didn't commit to a membership, they offered a second day at a discounted proce of 75$ and I fell for it and made a second appointment. They called days before my second appointment trying to offer something different and I told them I didn't want to go back and still they charged me a 25$ cancelation fee though they didn't mention it. I had to find out the next day when I checked my bank account. Complete waste of money of 95$ + plus the extra 25$ they're trying to take from my bank as cancelation fee. And I don't trust their lasers are effective. Look for a more reputable establishment. read more

Thank you for your response. I feel that there are important parts of my situation that were not fully understood. I live far from your clinic, so rescheduling is not easy or convenient for me. When I was offered a new appointment time two hours later than my original slot, it was not realistic for me to wait or to drive one hour home and then another hour back to the clinic. I had just come off a 12-hour night shift and had not slept, which made this even more difficult. I chose to come in shortly after because I was trying to use the remaining service I had already paid for in advance. There was no clear guarantee that I would be able to get a refund for that payment, which is why I felt pressured to use it rather than risk losing my money. I would also like to clarify that during my last visit, I did not receive any additional or complimentary services. I only received the service that was already paid for, using my reward points. I understand that clinics have policies and scheduling limitations, but I hope you can also understand my perspective and the challenges involved, given the distance, my work schedule,, my years of loyalty, and the prepaid services. This situation felt disappointing not because of the policy itself, but because of the lack of flexibility and understanding of my circumstances. read more

The office is very clean and the staff is really helpful. They go step by step on how the procedure works and answer any questions you have politely. One of the staff members named Sarah also helped me to choose some of the facial products, too. She explained them very thoroughly and I was able to chose items according to my skin with her recommendations :) I bought the masks and the moisturizer, they definitely felt great on my skin, especially since I'm on the dry side and it is difficult to keep my skin hydrated. Horrible customer service with no communication! I booked a first time client appointment and drove from very far to come. I was unaware that the location was inside of a mall. Realistically, you'd probably have to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment to make it there on time. They sent me an email once I was almost there stating that they were canceling my appointment because I did not make it there by 10:45 which was the exact time. My appointment was scheduled even though I was there just searching for where to come in. no the same morning stating that I would not be able to get inside of the mall if my appointment was before 11 AM and I would have to use another entrance which was hard to locate since I was not familiar with the area and I had to search around a giant shopping mall. Instead of trying to accommodate me to locate another location that is closer they just ignored me completely. I will not be returning to this location. Update** about an hour or so after me posting my review I received an email from the Glendale location where they tried to reschedule me for 1205 without calling me or letting me know if they had an availability. I'm assuming the reschedule was sent after they saw this review ! I was already on the long drive back to my house so will not be showing up for that appointment! The communication is horrible from this location. I do not recommend it. read more

So I'm gonna say the good and the bad here the good they have great marketing. The nurse was fine. She didn't really go out of her way but she just did a very very basic job. The bad this is very overpriced for what it is. This is the most basic of facial. I think I've ever seen. I get a better facial at Burke Williams or Korean spot. The thing I don't like is that you have to get this First one for $40 which literally feels like nothing. They do a consultation on what you've had what they're gonna do next I got talked into applying a power duo which was a $900 product. I did not pay $900. I got a deal at the end of the year for 250 so the first one I'm telling them that I've done a lot of lasers. I've done resurface. I've done cool laser. I've done all kinds so my skin is very good with lasers. I do not have a problem. I understand their process. They have to give me this useless laser the first time for $40 so that was a absolute complete waste cause it did nothing I barely felt it. I actually don't think I did feel it and left and went on my way. They assured me that this next laser I would get great results. It would be similar to my cervix but different and better and I would love it again. The nurse is fine, but did not listen to anything. I said she only turned up one level from the laser. I did not feel at all on the first visit. I let her know that I've had lasers again. She did not care. She's like well. The next one we can turn it up and we can go higher than that even after the next one here's what I'll say if you have a membership to this good for you, but if you think you're getting a laser facial, you need to go to a place to get a laser facial my recommendation is do not spend your money here. It is not worth it Unless you just like 15 minutes of thinking you're getting something done because that was the biggest waste of $300 that I have ever had in a very long time and then at the end the front desk girls are literally saying that you have to do an exit where they are pushing for large amounts of tips for everyone involved for a 10 minute facial that is not really a facial again spend your money anywhere else and if you actually get a laser procedure done by a nurse, they don't take tips because you're actually paying what you should be paying at $900 should've had a way better experience in this . If you want a good facial, go to Korean spa go to Burke Williams go to a facial place. I really should have read the reviews a little bit better but if it's your first time ever getting a laser facial, and you are super ultra sensitive and maybe this is the cheapest way to see if it's something that works for you maybe, but again I do not recommend this business. go to an actual medical spa with actual nurses that will hear you listen to you and try to do a great job on your face, which was not what I received here. It looks like nothing was done to my face at all after about 30 minutes. I looked exactly how I did when I came in and I've had no difference since I got this done on Wednesday. read more

Excellent service and very clean Studio. Came here for a laser facial, checked in for my splint and was seen almost immediately. There is a small section on the side with micellar wipes to help cleanse your face before you do your treatment. Parking is in the Glendale galleria parking lot, I would park as close to the food court as possible, which I believe is parking lot A. It was my first time getting a facial done, and I did the Power Duo treatment. From booking the appointment to the aftercare was seamless and easy. Everything was handed to me in full detail with upmost care. my skin type: hormonal ance prone, dry, sensitive Prior to booking: Spoke to Sarah about the service and she explained the different types of treatments, and the benefits of each one of them. It caught my interest, and I was very conflicted on which service to try due to my acne prone skin! She recommended the power duo as it is the best of both worlds, and I couldn't agree more after my appointment! Customer service: The staff was very kind and welcoming! The ladies in the front, Jessica, being one of them was able to greet me and then get started with the prep before doing the facial. She made sure that I was set up and all ready! I was then greeted by Elaine and Elizabeth who did my facial. They made sure I felt comfortable and was very thorough in explaining the devices being used and walked me through what they are doing in each step so there was no surprises. One thing I really appreciate was them asking about my top skin concern and they paid extra attention to those areas. Treatment: The first part was power signature facial and the second part was then the resurfacing. The first part was pretty painless -- felt like a cold roller over your face, which is quite relaxing. The second part was definitely a bit more painful, as the nurses described it being "spicy" pretty accurate. I appreciated them giving me a fan while getting the second part done otherwise I would've shed lots of tears! The top lip, temple areas, and top cheek was the most sensitive to me when it came to the resurfacing treatment! It just felt like a tiny pin poking your face! Post appointment: Elaine and Elizabeth provided me a card with aftercare that provides 2 packs of aquaphor and a bottle of serum they use. I was told to put the serum on every hour for 6 hours after the treatment, and it really helped calm my skin! My skin wasn't as red after 1-2 hours post treatment. I am also glad they warned about my skincare routine for the next 24 hours to a week since I would've used my differin + vitamin c in my routine (which is a big no no after facials!) Thoughts: I did notice one of my sunspots is barely visible on my face, so I know that this one session did its job well! I am very excited to see how my skin continues to heal to finally lighten up my acne scarring! TLDR: first time facial, great customer service, great technology, overall: would recommend and consider a membership in the future! read more

UPDATE: They have switched from their original laser to a different one and it is totally ineffective. I have been receiving treatments with the new laser since February, so I gave it a chance. My acne is now just as bad as it was when I started with them 2 years ago. The new laser does nothing. They are still using the before-and-after photos from the former laser to attract to clients, which I'm not even sure is legal. It's a total bait-and-switch. The new laser (It's called Vader, the old one was Spectra) DOES NOT WORK. Don't waste your money. I would like to add to this review that the staff at my usual location (Glendale) is amazing. If there was a way to review them separately from the business itself, I would, and they would get 5 stars all around. The nurses and the front desk staff are awesome! The business itself... not so much anymore. read more

I'm not a fan of this location -- it's inside the Glendale galleria and not the easiest to get into (parking is ALWAYS a pain whether it's an early weekday morning or weekend). Give yourself 15-20 to park if you're new here and to walk to the business. (Maybe even 25 mins if you're a slow walker)) Customer service isn't the best. I prefer to drive all the way to Topanga even though I am living in pasadena. The nurse here was in a rush when I came I also wish that they went back to doing packages. read more
