I really did not want to write this but it has been over a month and I am still dealing the scars that we're unfortunately left on my face due to way too forceful extractions. Lida herself is super sweet and personable. The place is very nice and Lida was nice enough to refund me after I expressed my disappointment about a week after the service. However, that unfortunately does take away from the pain in the a** I've been dealing with since then because of the scars. This is going to take some TIME to go away and that's extraordinarily frustrating. It's going to take multiple laser or chemical peel sessions costing me significantly more than the facial did. I posted multiple photos. It's getting better but unfortunately Lida left me with several ice pick scars-- as described by a dermatologist I have now gone to see to help me with solutions for getting rid of the scars asap. read more

I was looking for a blackhead extraction back in July and glad I went to Lida. It was my first time ever to do any kind of facial treatment, but Lida explained the process clearly, answered all the questions I had, and overall made me feel comfortable in her hands. I believe I got the microdermabrasion which includes the extractions and mask. She let me know to expect redness for a week - my face healed very nicely and I saw a significant improvement on my face's general texture and brightness. I went to an alternate office they have in Glendale which was in a building. Plenty of parking on the street. It doesn't look the nicest from the outside, but it was clean and neat inside even and had all the COVID safety measures. The prices are also very reasonable for the level of care and professionalism you get. I have discoloration and she literally made it fade to almost nothing with one facial, microdermabrasion, and a light peel. She extracted EVERY SINGLE PORE. If you're someone that watched dr pimple popper, go to her. If you're a skin nerd, go to her. She knows that she is doing, is honest if you're going to have down time (something you should expect with a good skin cleaning) and is very kind and friendly. What a fantastic experience! I've never gotten a facial before and had no idea what to expect. All i knew was that my husband had informed me that I had blackheads (and boy was he right!) and I wanted them gone! I never gave my skin much attention, so when I had seen all of the "gunk" that came out of my pores - especially my nose - I was shocked! She explained the process to me, analyzed my skin, did the procedure (microdermabrasion) and let me know what to do an expect in the coming days. I booked Lida for a facial. I hadn't been in several months and had a lot of congestion. She was extremely thorough with her extractions. Initially, I was a bit nervous because it was painful and I left with multiple blood spots from the extraction points. Eventually the blood spots scabbed over within 48 hours. At first I was panicked because it looked like I had been butchered but I took care to stay out of the sun for two weeks and I have to say, after the scabs fell off naturally, my skin is looking super refreshed. I would definitely recommend her but be forewarned, you'll scab and you'll have to be patient for those scabs to fall off. You'll also have to be extremely diligent about completely staying out of the sun or you'll damage your skin after the treatment. If you follow these instructions, it'll be worth it. Would definitely go back to see her for additional treatments. It's not a relaxing facial where you get massages, it's a treatment to get your face in shape. Also, try not to get microdermabrasion during the summer months as I think it'll be extremely difficult to stay out of the sun and keep your skin protected post treatment. Extra points for her being super sweet and a testament to her ability is that she looks AMAZING for her age, for real. read more

I paid under 100$ for an hour long facial cleansing, microdermabrasion, steaming, extraction, a light peel, and LED lights (including gratuity too!). That is a GREAT deal. She was thorough but not aggressive with my face. She was not pushy about products (didn't even try to sell me on stuff!) Overall I had a great facial here. The 5 stars has to be for the final result. I have been suffering from hormonal acne on my chin. She was able to extract almost everything and none of them got infected after! It has been 5 days since I had my facial and already my skin is GLOWING. It is slightly peeling from the peel and there are a few scabs still on my face from the extraction (but she had let me know before hand that the scabs take around 8 days to fully fall off). I have oily-combo skin and my skin is definitely less oily! The pores around my nose and slightly on my cheeks have gotten smaller in size (it is impossible to get rid of large pores, its hereditary :( ) TIPS: -Free 90 minute parking at the parking garage on Maryland. -She is located inside a salon! I found Lida through Yelp when I saw a friend of mine reviewed her for a facial. It was very simple to book my appt via text message. She is located inside of a cute salon and her room is very well decorated. Lida is extremely friendly, personable, and really cares about her clients! She takes the time to explain what she is doing and recommends products to you. She does microdermabrasion and uses a UV light to close the pores after exfoliation. The UV light is used instead of a mask. My skin felt and looked so much better 24 hours after the facial!! Thank you, L! Her prices are very reasonable for a one-hour facial and she works with you to make the the price right. The only reason she gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that most facials I have had include a mini massage for the neck and head (and sometimes arms) but hers didn't. I waited to write this review cause I wanted to see if my first visit would deliver outstanding results and it did! My boyfriend and I went in for our second visit today and like before, she did an amazing job! My boyfriend has extremely, extremely, extremely oily face. By the end of the night his face is pretty much drenched in oil. And I have acne prone skin and some uneven skin tone and Lida both helped us by doing microdermabrasion, peel, extractions, and LED lights! At first I was shocked to see how red my face got and a few scabs but she did let me know before hand that it would take at least a week to heal!
