    Bacon cheese omelet
    Jared C.

Came here with family, have been here before. Previous, I got a French toast which I did not enjoy. This time, I got a bacon and cheese omelette with hash browns and biscuit. Biscuits was delicious, hashbrowns and omelette were standard. Service was good, he was nice and attentive.

First time in to this Boca Breakfast/Lunch restaurant for a hearty Breakfast. Friendly staff and spacious interior with plenty of counter, table and booth seating. We chose a window booth and looked at all of the combination and specials. I went with the Two Egg, Bacon, Grits and biscuit special, (choice of biscuit, scones, muffin or toast). My eggs were perfectly done as per my request. Thick perfect crispy applewood bacon and yummy grits. The jams on the table were top notch, one of my favorites was the Blackberry. As we were eating I saw a large crow fish out one of the blackberry jams from one of the outside tables for his own breakfast. (The early bird gets the worm, but the Smart ones get delicious jam) Great choice brother crow! They close at 3pm and have closing specials the closer to closing time it gets. Overall a great experience with our service and food. One of the few times we haven't had to send something back to the kitchen for correction.

We might have been the youngest people here when we stopped by for lunch, except for the kids who were visiting their grandparents. But we still had a good experience. The restaurant is on the east side of the shopping center which is a quite busy place. There are a lot of businesses and other restaurants nearby. We were able to find a parking place right out front luckily. We were greeted on entering and taken to a table near the window. They also have some booths along one wall. In the other room, there's even a counter. The menu has both a breakfast side and a lunch side. All options were available. And on the table was a promo for a specially priced late lunch for those who come after 1 pm. My husband chose to have their two egg platter. He opted for grits, and a biscuit with well-done bacon. He said everything was good, although the biscuit was a little harder and drier than expected. He add a liberal amount of butter and blackberry jam to the biscuit. I chose their BLT sandwich on white toast. They had a half sandwich for a lesser price and as I wasn't that hungry, I went with the smaller portion. Crispy lettuce and ripe tomato slices along with wonderful thick bacon cooked well done. The bacon was excellent. And I had them put the mayo on the side. Along with a pickle spear, I elected to have a potato pancake. The pancake turned out to be hashbrowns with scallions formed into a patty and fried. I liked it anyway. We'd eaten once before at one of these Florida restaurants on the west coast of Florida, but it was quite some time ago. It's a small chain, but now that we've tried them again, I would look for other locations nearby. Based on this experience, I'd say it's a good option for an inexpensive diner style meal for breakfast or lunch.

I wish Boca had more restaurants like Skillets - causal, welcoming, convenient. The interior is brightly lit and paneled with wood and filled with homey decor. Skillets fills the traditional breakfast/lunch space held by restaurants like Denny's and IHOP. I was welcomed straightaway and was thrilled to be offered a small pot of coffee. I ordered the bacon avocado omelet, which came with a side of fruit and a scone - more than enough for a meal. The fruit was fresh, but the omelet was overcooked, hence the three-star rating. Worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood, but not the kind of place you would go out of your way to dine at.

I was in the city and wanted a good breakfast place. I saw Skillets close to where I was and decided to eat there. I ordered the Cajun chicken bowl. You pick if you want grits, potatoes, or hash browns for the base. I picked hash browns with scrambled eggs. The flavor was very good. It has chicken and chicken sausage. I had a long drive ahead of me and needed coffee. They offer chocolate, caramel, and another flavor. I had caramel iced coffee. All the staff were very friendly. I was greeted with a smile and helped by two different workers. I highly recommend the restaurant if you are in the Boca Rotan area.

Ample parking, clean dining room, brand new with a nice happy atmosphere! Great service, quick friendly and courteous by Jeane , she's the BEST! A nice menu with some good variety from breakfast food to sandwiches. Good portions, reasonable prices, different choices of type of bread for toast. The coffee was fresh and plentiful. We will be back!

I've been to a skillets in Naples and enjoyed it. Friends of ours took us to this location and it didn't disappoint. Everything was delicious bit the scones and the bacon were exceptional. If you get a chance, stop in. You won't be sorry.

Showed up on a raining day pretty much right as they opened, and just sitting inside helped warm us up. Our waiter helped us navigate the long menu and told us some of the most popular items. Everything was delicious and very fresh. The crepes were nice and light in flavor and paired perfectly with the fresh fruit. Their potatoes are interesting and made to be between a hash brown and mashed potatoes. It's definitely something to try, but it may not be everyone's favorite. We washed it all down with some orange juice in frosted glasses. Overall, I'd come back to Skillets as I also want to try their lunch menu.

This skillets location is the best we've had! The people are always so nice. Scarlet, one of the employees, greeted us with scones while we were waiting - never before seen in Boca Korey was our waiter and he was soooooooooooo kind and accommodating. I literally come back to this location for the excellent customer service. And the food is great too! I am gluten free and they have great options for me and my non-GF boyfriend. Thanks skillets (& scarlet & Korey!)

Skillets is a chain of casual breakfast and lunch restaurants founded by Ross and Noreen Edlund in Naples in 1995. According to the Edlund's "Our mission has always focused on preparing homemade, delicious, and nutritious breakfasts and lunches from scratch. We are committed to providing top-notch, friendly, and efficient service in an inviting and comfortable surrounding." There are now 17 restaurants including this one in Boca Raton. Skillets has a country theme with homey light wood floors, booths, and tables, and counter with stools. The wall is decorated with pictures of the food. They also have a covered outdoor patio which seemed to be dog friendly. The menu includes hearty dishes with eggs, waffles, French toast, pancakes, crepes, blintzes, and the egg and meat skillets that gives the restaurant its name for breakfast and panini and sandwiches, salads, and wraps for lunch. On this visit I ordered the cranberry pecan waffle served with house made orange syrup along with a side of potatoes and bacon. The food is tasty and filling and reasonably priced. I once ate here with a vegetarian friend and it was easy for him to find something from their varied menu. If you are looking for a quick and filling breakfast or lunch, this is a solid option in south Boca.

Ham and cheese omelet, biscuit and grits.

I'd give it 4.5 stars but there's not a half star available. I had the ham and cheese omelet with grits and biscuit. It was delicious. Grits were soft and creamy... Really good. High praise from a southerner. Service was prompt and coffee really good Quite "Woody" atmosphere and diner ambiance. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I dinged half a star for price-it's expensive. My plate was $15

Gosh, I can't extol the virtues of this restaurant enough! I have been here two separate times during brunch, and without fail, they have been wonderful! The food is cooked fresh, and the portions are large! If I went to another restaurant, I would most definitely be paying at least five dollars more than I pay here with portions that are half the size. This was our second visit, our server was Hunter and he was awesome! He had some really wonderful suggestions and made sure to notify my girlfriend and I who are gluten-free that certain items do have gluten in them, even if it may not be listed. This restaurant offers several options for people that have gluten intolerance but please be mindful, their gf products are cooked in the same machines as non gf so people with celiac's may want to steer clear. The restaurant itself is bright and cozy! I know that sounds counterintuitive, but the wooden walls and folksy decor make it feel like someone's kitchen rather than a restaurant. It's location in the garden shops, utilizes, wraparound windows to keep the nice and bright! If you're looking for a wonderful place to eat with a large group, or just yourself, give this location a try! I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.

I started coming here in early 2025 and that first visit was delicious and absolutely memorable... But if you read my original review of Vinny's Cafe, you'll see the issues I initially had... They bring in huge crowds (long lines; sometimes out the door for a good 50 foot)... and they have a lot of staff making these wraps on the assembly line but the staff are not consistent so don't be surprised if one wrap is wet and another day is dry, or one wrap is tightly rolled and another is falling apart; my biggest gripe is the fatty meat I got once so I just avoid roast beef... With that said, I have continued to come and I have learned to (1) order the wraps you know you like (don't experiment) and (2) try to use the staff you recognize from times your wrap was really good. Since then I have been ordering the same wrap every time (CHICKEN CESAR WRAP as it comes with the addition of sun-dried tomatoes) and it's been better... I also come at odd hours to avoid the insane long lines. Overall the wraps are amazing (and huge) but a bit inconsistent

It didn't just survive. It flexed. I am fully on board with five-star gas station cuisine. In fact, I seek it out. And WhatSub doesn't just play the game -- it competes internationally. This place comes dangerously close to Sandwich Master in Turin, Italy. I'm not exaggerating. And it narrowly beats out Generoso's in Coral Springs, which is not an easy feat. The bread? Legit. The meats? Layered like someone actually respects the architecture of a sandwich. The balance? No soggy mess. No overkill. No amateur hour. And then the cannoli. Freshly piped. Not pre-filled. Not sitting there getting sad and humid. Fresh. Filled to order. Shell still crisp. Ricotta smooth and balanced -- not overly sweet, not grainy, not lazy. Best cannoli I've had in South Florida since Lorenzo's in North Miami Beach. That's not a casual comparison. That's a statement. Now let's talk atmosphere. It's technically in a gas station plaza -- and yet the owners and staff are actually speaking Italian behind the counter. Not performative. Not touristy. Just normal conversation like you accidentally stepped into a deli in Torino. It feels real. So real that I went back the next day. And then again. I am not joking. When I ask myself, "What was my favorite thing?" the answer is dangerous: Everything I ordered. Cold subs. Hot subs. Cannoli. Repeat. This is the kind of place you almost don't want to write about because once the word spreads, lines get longer and secrets disappear. But credit where credit is due. WhatSub is proof that greatness doesn't need chandeliers. Sometimes it just needs good bread, proper technique, and someone who actually cares.

Came here because I saw it was a new Italian sub shop near my area. Saw good reviews and wanted to…read moretry it myself. Behind the counter was a husband/wife duo who were the business owners (didn't get their names) who stated they were from Sicily. After much deliberation, I decided to order the Arthur Ave and the Milano. The Arthur Ave is a cold sandwich that had prosciutto, arugula, stracciatella, sun dried tomato. You have a choice of bread from white, wheat rolls, and focaccia. I was informed by the husband the focaccia is made fresh daily by his wife so of course I had to try that. The wife was nice enough to let me try a sample of the prosciutto and I have to say -- it was delicious, so getting it on a sandwich was going to be a no-brainer. The Milano was for my father. Watching them make the sandwich, they put two huge pieces of chicken cutlet, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and freshly sliced mozzarella. Again, I got the focaccia bread. Both sandwich's were drizzled on the top of the focaccia bread with fresh Italian olive oil which was just the cherry on top. I had told the owners it was my first time and we had a great conversation, that they were nice enough to give me and my parents 3 free mini cannolis -- which was completely unexpected and highly appreciated! As far as the food goes, I don't have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe how delicious this sandwich was. From the delicious meats, the fresh veggies, and my personal favorite part -- that focaccia bread. I would buy that alone. They had specials on their menu the day I went that was a not on their menu -- a meatball sub and arancini balls. Also, keep in mind, that this shop is inside the Mobil gas station on 441 and SW 18th. There is a sign on the outside of the gas station, but if you're driving by and unsure of the location, I can confirm it is inside the Mobil. Overall, a great experience; delicious food, great people behind the counter. Only caveat I would say is it is a little bit higher price for a sandwich, but with the current economy where a McDonalds burger is over 10 bucks, you truly get what you pay for and that is top quality, fresh and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
