Some of the reviews are interesting, so I figured I needed to offset the negative. Ski & Benny pizza is located close to my place of employment, so naturally I have to try it. We have made group orders before and had no complaints. Today's review is based on the pizza by the slice that is available during lunch. First- a Buffalo chicken slice, crispy bottom with a good soft bone. The Buffalo chicken pizza I guess is a limited thing, or not on the menu yet. But it's amazing, like holy poop, I need a whole pie. Second- a combo slice, again good crust, flavorful sausage, and good cheese. The sauce was just sauce, not the best, but far from the worst. 3rd- the price. $10 for a Red Bull, and 2 slices. That's a deal in my opinion. Especially, when the pizza tastes good. 4th- super friendly, and helpful employees- this alone got them a 50% tip. Area = pi*r^2 Ski & Benny Medium = 113.1 in^2 Moose's Tooth Medium = 153.94 in^2 153.94/113.1 = 1.36X So you get 1.36X more pizza with Moose's Tooth. 17*1.36 = 23.12.... So Ski & Benny is actually more expensive than Moose's Tooth, all things being equal. And MT has a lot more going for it than "it's hot". Makes this pizza hard to recommend. read more

Not only is this pizza amazing, but the owners are immaculate! Ordered this pizza originally with Uber eats and for some odd reason Uber canceled our order and charged us for it. I then proceed to go through a lengthy customer chat process with Uber only to be told the order was still coming, once I reach out to the restaurant to see if they have notice they believed they were only waiting on a driver. Not even a minute later I received a call back from the owners that the order was in fact cancelled, but the pizza was ready! They then worked with us very diligently and personally drove the pizza and dessert to our hotel to save us another hassle through Uber. I'll admit the delivery time was a little long, I expected the crust to be larger but I did choose the standard crust option and I wish the salad was just a tad bit bigger so I could have more leftovers. That being said I orderd a 9 inch spicy pizza the was spicier than I expected but nothing I couldn't handle. Ceaser salad had alot of dressing too. I often feel that I dont get enough dressing with my ceaser salads from restaurants but that wasn't the case here Have leftovers for lunch at work tomorrow so very happy, kinda pricey but worth it, found my new favorite spicy pizza, will definently order again. read more

Gross utility pizza. On the plus side, the service was good and delivery time was fast. However, what you get is limp cold dough, tomato sauce that tastes like it was dumped out of a can, cold cheese, and cold uncooked mushrooms that were definitely dumped out of a can. We ordered a stromboli and pepperoni pizza to try out the place and it wasn't bad. Really the only complaint was the stromboli was nice and golden on the outside but a little doughy on the inside. I haven't been to the location personally, but we order from Ski & Benny when at work. Portions are enough for my coworkers. It's nice that they're open late, but they take a long time. I work about 10-15 minutes away from them and I've had to wait over an hour just for an order of 2 items. The White Pie Pizza and Sausage Parm Sandwich is good. I wouldn't recommend their bread sticks. Every time we order they are rock hard and sometimes even burnt. Sometimes the pizza is even over cooked and what should be white cheese is brown. This pizza is good. We ordered late night delivery onto JBER. The crust was thinner like New York style with a crispy chewy texture. It was not even slightly greasy and the sauce was good. For $20 we got an extra large with 2 drinks. The only reason I gave 4/5 was that the delivery took over an hour and the pizza was warm but not as hot as I would have liked. Ski and Benny's have been in business up here for years. This is one of those establishments that you either swear by them or just say, well...I am one of those cases. They are a 24 hour business, and this might of been the downfall I have. Don't get me wrong, the food comes hot, freshly made, (as can be with menu products), but there is a grease and taste factor involved. It may have been an inexperienced cook, or just a bad day or two, but I have ordered 3 times from here, all of which was not fantastic, but at least hot. Ordered online, quick and convenient way to order. I ordered a calzone with a 9 piece hot wings. The calzone was great. Just perfect. Lots of filling, crust done just right. The wings were not so good. They count small broken pieces of wing as a whole piece. Not hot at all. Really weird texture, kinda soft and mushy. My wife ordered spaghetti with meatballs. The meatballs were obviously pre frozen store bought. They were on the side, without a drop of sauce. Dry as bones. The spaghetti had very little sauce. Luckily my calzone came with extra marinara sauce, I was able to share. Lesson learned, stick to the calzone or pizza. read more

Glancing at the menu and pictures I thought hey maybe this could be good. After getting my meatball sub if you can call it that. I now realize the only reason this place is still open is because it caters to the late drunk people that other restaurants don't stay open for. You have to be drunk to find any enjoyment out of their food. And still even intoxicated I would not go near this. With each bite of the meatball sub I grew more and more depressed. Thinking it would have been better to flush $20 down the toilet. After throwing out more than half the sandwich I thought my experience was over. However this "restaurant" had one more surprise for me. Which was how devastating it was to my stomach because I was staying in a bathroom the rest of the night. In conclusion, outrageously long waiting time for food, overpriced dog ****, I mean food? Could be considered hazardous to your body. Should come with warning label.
