SJS came through for me with my AO Smith water heater, needing 2 new parts installed. AO Smith messed up by not sending all the necessary parts needed, and offered to pick up the tab to have them installed once they arrived. That still would have made it 4 days w/out hot water, thanks to AO Smith not shipping on time, nor all the needed parts. I had one of the parts, the other was being shipped overnight. I got SJS contact info from AO Smith as authorized installers. When I explained my situation to Shawna, she said they may have the missing part (gas valve). After checking and calling her tech's, they did have one! Within 2 hours John arrived with the part, and used the other part I had already received to get the water heater up and running again. I had an unexpected water heater leak that actually went INTO my house. I first noticed the problem when I found water in my dining room carpet. I called a few plumbers, a couple of which could not make it out, but I found Sean on the Nextdoor app. His review said he was honest and had fair pricing, so I called. Sean came out within hours and immediately took care of business. He showed me where the leak was, did a thorough check of the whole house, then called in his water restoration and leak detection guys who came out THE SAME DAY. While it is always a bummer to have to deal with these things (and come up with the money!), I went to bed feeling like I had found a guardian angel -- Sean and his whole team totally made me feel comfortable and that the problem would be fixed by the BEST. The whole process took a full two weeks. Sean started by fixing the leak and installing the new water heater in a temporary location so that the damaged area could be completely dried and restored. He had me back in hot water THE NEXT DAY. ...and when everything was restored, he came right back, and relocated it and set it up perfectly. The work was outstanding. The team of people that he brought along were fantastic. Each of them made me feel very taken care of. They took the time to explain things, and it was clear that they all knew what they were doing. Sean made sure to strap the water heater even in the temporary set up and everything, each time he came, was left so very clean. ...not to mention that he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He even sent out his leak detector to make sure that everything was sound after it was all done, FOR FREE! Can't believe this company has perfect reviews. A gentlemen from this company came out to our house to consult the plumbing issue we had at our home. The issue was poor water heating in one of our bathroom showers. He then requested a second visit. He never showed up to this visit but then called 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment, apologized and requested to reschedule his visit for the next morning. In the interest of full disclosure, before I called SJS Plumbing I had another major rooter company see the problem in my parent's house. Not only did they misdiagnose their leak, but they wanted them to perform a job that was completely unnecessary. I'm glad I asked for a second opinion and found Sean. He showed up within the hour of calling him and told me exactly what he believed the problem was. He used a company called Pegasus Leak Detection, whom I will also write a review for, to pinpoint exactly where the leak was. Sean told me he was a very busy but he was willing to move his schedule around so he could begin work the very next morning. The work took the better part of the day but Sean was constantly checking in and giving me updates. I can't begin to explain how grateful I am for finding Sean. So I had a slab leak and called our 4 plumbers for an estimate, not only was Sean the only one to come out same day, not only was he the cheapest... BUT he also was the only one to suggest an alternative way to repair the pipe underground to preserve my brand new kitchen floor and cabinets! He suggested since it was indeed close to the exterior, he could tunnel a little under the house from the outside to get to the broken piece.
