If you want to spend heaps of money on ambience, so-so food arranged like a tiny tower served with attitude, this place is not for you. My friends and I went on a Sunday afternoon. No other customers so it was relaxing and quiet. A small menu but a lot of variety. We started with the Creamy Mussels and Honey Sriracha chicken for the appetizers. I didn't have the mussels as I am lactose intolerant but, it looked really tasty. The chicken was really good, crispy and flavorful. We had an order of Shrimp Pad Thai, Sizzling Dry Chicken, Spicy Pork Bibimbap and Spicy Chicken Bibimbap. All of the dishes were really good. The Sizzling Dry Chicken was surprisingly great. Full of spicy flavor and extra crispy. We recommended the chef to add the dry chicken as part of the Bibimbap options. The Pad Thai was excellent. The noodle was not oily, vegetables were flavorful and retained their crispiness and freshness. The shrimp were generous in size and portion. The two Bibimbaps were great as well. The Bibimbap sauce was homemade and had a unique sweet garlic soy sauce. You can have the sauce altered to your level of spiciness that you prefer. The stone bowl that it came in was a decent size portion and kept the food well heated during the entire meal. Then we finished off with 2 desserts, fried vanilla ice cream and the fried banana eggroll ice cream with a homemade salted caramel sauce drizzled on them. All the plates were licked clean that was how good the food was. I couldn't give them that last star because of minor nitpicks like utensils and speed of service since we were the only ones there, parking maybe a bit of an issue but, overall it was a great place to have a meal. I'm typically suspicious of restaurants that offer Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, and Japanese dishes on one menu, but throw in an Italian dish or two, and I'm all-out skeptical. Sizzling Kitchen does all that, and bills themselves as a bakery to boot. Sounded fishy to me, but thanks to Yelp, we gave it a try and Yelpers did not steer us wrong. It was delicious. We had the bibimbap, chicken wings with cilantro sauce, dry crispy fish special, and wonton udon soup. You're probably wondering who puts wontons in udon soup, but--trust me--it was yummy. Was it a traditional Japanese udon soup? No; more like a Vietnamese Pho/Chinese wonton hybrid with udon noodles. I personally liked Sizzling Kitchen's spin of the classic dishes. Whoever they've got in the kitchen has a spot-on sense for deliciousness. You won't find any dull Asian takeout food here. For dessert, we had the fried ice cream, which was vanilla ice cream encased in fried dough. Everyone at our table loved it. I may have stolen the last bite from my youngest child. The restaurant is small and there are only a handful of tables, so if you come at peak times you may have to wait for a table to open up. It's not fancy, but comfortable and charming, and the staff is very welcoming. We live in the metrowest suburbs, and driving up to Lowell for a meal (easy parking, no traffic) is so much easier than heading into Boston. Thanks, Sizzling Kitchen, for a wonderful meal. I've been here probably close to 20 times now. The service is typically pretty good. The food is phenomenal. I have had probably 80-90 percent of what is on the menu. The Italian fusion dishes are decent, the tomato sauce on the chicken parm is very sweet, which I'm not a fan of, but the quality of the food is good otherwise. The lemon chicken parppardelle was excellent. That said, my go to is the various bibimbap dishes or the sizzling shaken chicken. My girlfriend likes the mee ka-tang, which is also very good. The wings are great and the various spring rolls rock. The sizzling kitchen rolls are out of this world they're that good. This is one of our primary local go to places on a Friday night or Saturday. The place has that hole in the wall feel, but the food is five star, no doubt about it. If you're all about the food, this place will not disappoint. read more

Had a great "early Mother'sDay dinner" on Saturday night. Sizzling House Roles were delicious. Staff was really helpful and friendly. The Pho was enormous and delicious. 3 of us had the Korean Beembeembap (did I spell that right?) which was outstanding - both the presentation and the taste! A great little hidden gem. Menu is a little limited but that doesn't matter cuz I only go there for their Bibimbap anyways. Be careful, when it comes out you will want to dive right in but it's hot and if you don't wait and let it cool down a little you will burn the top of your mouth. (The worst feeling). What an amazing find. Everything we had from start to finish was incredible. We started with the egg rolls which were perfectly crispy and not at all greasy, and the coconut chicken spring rolls with lots of crunchy basil. The three dinners we got were the sizzlin teriyaki beef (incredible, lightly fried and super tender) and the pork bibimbap (also amazing, with lots of fresh veggies and an egg and it came in a hot clay pot that cooked everything as I stirred in the spicy Korean sauce), and the chicken parm which was also really good and Panko crusted which was a nice change to the Italian breaded classic. We finished by sharing a salted caramel cheesecake. Everything was homemade including the caramel sauce in our dessert. I can't wait to come back and try the rest! The only downside was they had no macarons because the chef has been so busy he hasn't had time to make them. A good problem to have. Come try this place for sure! read more

I got wonton noodle soup which smelled and tasted burnt, the spicy dry chicken was nothing serious I've definitely had better, the pad Thai was okay kinda on the bland side and the sizzling kitchen rolls were gross just tasted like a sticky mess and the sriracha wings were a disappointment looked better then what it taste. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!! Not to mention I spent $50 and barely touched it. NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more
