This Sizzler location looks amazing; probably the best I've been to due to the fact that it looks like a steakhouse mixed with a pub. The interior decor is new and refreshing. All the other Sizzlers I've been to are all outdated and old looking. Their salad bar is nice, lean, and super wide space where people can walk around freely. Sizzlers currently are out of chicken due to the vendors being stuck at the port which is a huge bummer to all of us Sizzler fans. The chicken is the singly most important salad bar item ever. Period. Anyway, my wife and I came last night for dinner and had an ok experience. I thought our food took way too long. Usually, the food is cooked and served on time. The food was delicious though and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was super busy so she wasn't able to attend to our needs at all. We only got one refill and small amount of cheesy toast which was a bummer. We barely got checked on. I really wish there was a soda fountain station so that people can just go up and get their own drinks instead of waiting constantly for someone to come. There was only 2 waitresses last night and a huge crowd which made things run slow. I was dehydrated half the time and I didn't like it. We'll probably come back again but I really hope our experience is better. read more

Saturday 7/23/22 In want to start by saying that , I been at this Sizzler location so many times over that past 20 years Today I come with the wife and kids 11 & 17 This is my 2nd time after the Covid has been gone , last time it was right after they reopen for business It was a little different . Not on a positive way , but I didn't care to much since there was a bunch of restrictions because of Covid And I assume That their salad bar was really empty very few items , because of the distance ordinance , so they didn't want to much people at the same time around it The food was a little bland , but i didn't pay much attention since previous experiences where really good Almost every time that I come here. I order the 14 Oz rib-eye with the baked potato and a salad bar Today my wife order one of those combinations with shrimp & steak (Sirloin) And I order the rib-eye a $32.00 dollar piece of meat When our meals arrived , our waitress asked me to cut my steak for me to see if it was to my likeness It was more like on the well done side But I tell her that I will take it like that Once she walk away I focused on cutting another piece . And that's when I realized the the cut on my plate was not rib-eye It looked more like tri tip , it was very chewy and dry because was over cooked She come back and I let her know that the piece of meat on my plate was not what I had order She was very polite and attentive ( Jocelyn) She has the same name as my daughter 11 She tell me that she will call the manager She did Manager arrived , very polite as well (Jorge) He's has the same name as me , what a coincidence Any how I proceed to explain way I was 100% Positive that I was given a piece of steak that was not rib-eye , he had already talked to the cooks in the kitchen, so he tell me that he was told that it was rib-eye, but it was from the very tip of the cut and that was the reason it didn't look like rib-eye At that time I let him know that i used to be a butcher for 10 years , which is the truth When I bought meat for the house typically buy the all piece and I butchered myself at home Any way , I also had a picture of a rib-eye Before getting grilled And a picture of a rib-eye after getting grilled So he did agreed that I right and in fact it was not rib-eye So he offered to cooked a fresh steak this time a rib-eye No doubt that Jorge did the right thing and He act accordingly to he's title , thanks Jorge He personally bring the steak to the table And it was cooked to perfection and it was rib-eye Salad bar still a little below of their previous standards , most of the salads (green ) salads look a little not to crispy and soggy Hopefully this was a honest mistake from the cooked , you should get what you pay for no more no less Here the pictures of the two steaks and make your own conclusions read more

I use to love eating here.. but lately it's been a hit or Miss with the food. The last time we ate here was 9/15/23 we came for my birthday and spent $175.00 and the mash potatoes tasted like plastic, we told the Waitress and she offered us a baked potato after 35 minutes of waiting for our food. It just messes up our whole dinning experience in my opinion... we didn't even finish all our food. In the past the salmon was raw and the sirloin steak tasted like chemicals... I think it just depends on the cook for the day... because other times the food was delicious. If you do go, just don't get the mash potatoes. I have been coming here for lunch on a regular basis. The service is stellar. Today our server Gloria Padilla was very attentive, pleasant, and welcoming. I usually get the 8oz sirloin which has not yet disappointed. It is flavorful and seasoned just right, cooked to my liking with Gloria asking for me to check if it was prepared to my liking which it has been consistently. I rarely write reviews but I wanted to do so for Sizzler in Stockton as it has been our families favorite Sunday afternoon get together spot for years now! There's a few reasons we appreciate it so much. First, is our server Reuben. He makes us feel so welcome that it's like seeing an old friend who takes really good care of us. I've noticed many other customers reacting the same way to him - immediately shouting a happy hello and reaching out their hand to shake his. So I'm not alone. The other staff, like the young women at the register, are are always so sweet with big, warm smiles! I"m so delighted when they remember us and our order. But the menu is the clincher. My family all have different diets - carnivore, vegetarian, health restrictive diets, etc. But somehow, ALL of us have a huge variety to choose from. The salad bar is always full and clean and the hot food comes out reliably cooked and tastly every time. We also really like the comfortable, high booths, so it feels more private and quieter. The best cheese toast I've ever had!!! I'm impressed with this restaurant and it surprises me because I typically hate buffet type restaurants. I guess this one is different because the menu options that are available of different meats, pasta and other things. The salad bar has really good soups and the actual salad part of the salad bar has fresh items that are a good quality. I'm in the middle of my meal now so if by some chance things don't continue going as good as they are now and my experience turns into a negative situation then I'll update this posting. Since when can you not sit to order? We did not try the food, nor will we ever. You have to find what you want to order before you are seated. I personally enjoy sitting, ordering a drink and browsing the men. This also increases the chance people will order more than just placing an order as back in the day the dining experience is why we pay outrageous prices. We left and went to Midgleys. I don't know if it is just this Sizzler here in Stockton Hammer Ln or if it is all Sizzlers. But HoT DAMN! I very rarely write reviews but this was just so fricken GOOD I had to put down a few words. It has been years since I've been to Sizzlers. Mom used to take us there back in the 60's and 70's, - 50 to 60 years ago and I can remember it was good and a treat but tonight's dinner was FANTASTIC! The Steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned to perfection and just damn amazing fire grilled flavor. The Shrimp same thing! and the cheese toast just like I remembered. OMG!! I think it will be a while till I go again because it is so special I want to keep it thata way!!! If you want an incredibly tasty and satisfying Steak dinner go here and you will thank me!! Went back into the restaurant, made the manager aware of the problem. She immediately prepared the third dinner and added some extra.
