The salad bar is always fresh and has a lot of options to choose from. I am at a point where it doesn't pay to get a steak from there anymore because they are so small. They want an arm & a leg for the steak and jumbo prawns meal and the steak is tiny. On last week I treated myself to a steak house and it was a nice sized steak combo dinner for the same as price, and you get to pick two sides. Because I ordered a cocktail I paid more. But, I always get good service at Sizzler's. My regular server always has a smile on her face regardless to it being a good or bad day. Sizzler has been there so long until you realize it's going to be there. It's reliable!!!! I haven't seen it this crowded in a long time. Maybe because it's the first, but I have been there on the first and I will say it again, I don't ever remember it being that crowded. Even when I left three women were waiting for someone in the small lobby area and more people were parking with their children in tow. Sizzler's is a great place to have family parties. I am only giving it three stars because on this visit I tried their Fisherman's Platter and it wasn't worth the $15.99. The two pieces of cod were very greasy and the little shrimp would be fine for a small child. The three jumbo shrimp were ok. You don't have to ask for tartar or cocktail sauce, you get a nice amount of both. I didn't try the little cup of cole slaw, because I ordered the one time side salad for $7.49. Gave $5.00 tip prior to meal, and was late with drinks and nowhere to be found needing a refill with vitamin water. Establishment was not busy or highly occupied, for this federal holiday. Our second time here and for some reason today was just disappointing. My sister's steak was supposed to be medium. Not medium-RARE, but just medium. And her steak looked raw. I felt the center and it didn't even feel like it was at the correct food safe temp, which is a huge red flag that someone in the kitchen is NOT doing the bare minimum job of even checking food temp. I ordered the Steak with 2 piece skewers and although the plate was hot when I got it, the mashed potatoes were cold, the steak was cold, the shrimp was cold So umm, yeah. Love how my plate was microwaved but the food was barely even warm. Also, my medium rare steak was more cooked than my sisters. The best part was the salad bar. We actually came for Thanksgiving day instead of cooking at home. It saved us the hassle of everyone wanting different foods, prepping for hours, dishes, cleaning, etc. so opted to come here! We had a good experience at this particular sizzler location. The hostess was nice and patient with us, but she took our order. Once we sat down and started enjoying our selection choice from the Buffay than the location or the general manager was walking around, asking each guest how their visit is going and if there's anything that he can approve on. That added touch was very inviting. I like seeing that the manager being out on the floor checking on guests and also the team. A lot more businesses to do things of this nature. The food was good. This includes chicken wings, Tostitos, potatoes, a variety of soups, taco bar, and many other items Service was really lacking. The server was not very attentive to our table. I probably should have left a very small tip. Anyways, considering it was Saturday night, it was a ghost town. At literally maximum, it was maybe 20% full. Based upon what I see, sizzler is on the downward swing and unless they plan on restructuring soon, they will not be around much longer We came since we wanted salad.
