hot damn, that was a good breakfast!
P L.

Quintessential diner brilliance. Oh man, this checked all the boxes. crispy hash browns, diner mug, crisp bacon, funky bread that's kind of warped and lathered sporadically with butter, ca couple little plastic tubs of jam, and the requisite little glass salt and pepper shakers that no doubt are pre WWII. Great classic diner breakfast, kind service, clean restroom, quiet and sweet. New favorite, and staple for when I'm working in Stockton.

Bad food

Food was absolutely terrible. Bacon burnt, hash browns wet and runny, not crispy. Eggs bland. Waitress was very rude. She overcharged us and became very annoyed when it was brought up.

Full excellent.

Best French toast I've had out. Friend had the Denver omelet. Best she's had. Fresh without being over cooked. Chicken fried steak was good and the gravy was the bomb. Service was great. 4 stars only because where it's located. Park in the back.

ABC scramble. Eggs weren't properly scrambled and were over cooked. Crispy hash browns.

Good menu. Food was good. A little pricey, but with the tariffs, where isn't? Service was good.

Quiet, quick, fair pricing in this inflation day in age. Nothing special, but not horrible.

Today was our 3rd time dining here. We brought our 21 year old daughter who loves steaks. She…read moredefinitely enjoyed her Prime Rib. It was cooked to perfection. Our host Danny was hilarious and gave a superb service. This place is really a hidden gem of Stockton. PS: Their clam chowder is the best!

Father's Day dinner with my family and friends at StoneBrier. We ordered off their special menu and…read morecovered a lot of ground between five people. Some plates were worth it, others weren't, and at the prices they're charging the gaps were hard to ignore. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The deviled eggs were a hit at the table and went fast. The jalapeño on each one was a nice touch, though the heat varied depending on which egg you grabbed since it was just a thin slice. The salmon cakes were solid, nothing to complain about. My mom's ceviche tostada was loaded, the avocado was generous and fresh, but the ceviche itself lacked the acidity you expect from the dish and had very little shrimp in it. She said it felt more like a lunch item than a dinner offering, though two of them were filling. My mom's friend had the steak frites, which was the standout plate of the night: a lean cut with a rich mushroom béchamel, well cooked, and the frites were fried rather than what you might expect, but the flavor delivered. My dad's spinach salad was underwhelming, overdressed with a balsamic that was too sharp and overpowered everything else. My ribeye was the disappointment. At $65 I expected better. It was thin, closer to pounded than what you'd expect from the cut, came out medium instead of medium rare, and didn't feel substantial for the price. The baked potato was a basic side, sour cream and onion, nothing more. The broccolini arrived at room temperature, borderline cold, which was unexpected. The au jus on the side didn't add much for me. Service was attentive but veered into overdone territory, the kind of performative politeness that signals they want a good tip more than they're genuinely being warm. It was noticeable. Also worth knowing: if you're seated near the windows, the afternoon sun can be blinding depending on when you go. The atmosphere is genuinely nice and this place works better as a brunch spot than a special occasion dinner destination. I've had better meals here before, which is why I know they can do better. One practical note: if you're parking in the disabled spots near the leasing center next door, the sidewalk doesn't connect to the restaurant entrance. You'll need to go through the parking lot to get there.

Super yummy! I…read moredecided to try Cast Iron after having it recommended to me by a coworker. It was great! I ordered the Chicken Thang with a side of garlic fries. The sandwich was thick with the juiciest chicken. I loved the garlic fries. They were super garlicky with a crispy cheese on top. The fries are thin and crinkle cut. They were the perfect mix of crispy yet juicy. One thing to note, if you order for pickup, make sure to arrive promptly because the food can get pretty soggy otherwise. The side sauce was pretty good too. I wish there was an online substitution option though because I'd prefer something like ranch instead. This spot's prices are a touch higher compared to restaurants in the area but the quality and portions really justify it. The employees are incredibly kind. When I stopped by to pickup my order, there was an employee cleaning the outside patio who immediately stopped what she was doing to open the door for me, went inside and washed her hands before even handing me the bag. The small details like this really make the experience so much better. It is especially reassuring to see how sanitary they are here too. Despite looking a bit small from the outside, it it quite spacious and modern inside. It has that modern hipster restaurant feel. On a warm day, it would be nice to sit under their covered patio. I will be returning to try more of their menu!

They have plenty of seating for small to large parties and even have seats up at the bar. It's got a small town cafe feel to it and I love it. I usually get the BLT sandwich with a side of fruit an an iced tea. Their BLT has to be my favorite because they load it up with bacon! I can't stand when you get a BLT and it lacks bacon, that surely is not the case here. My best friend loves to get their over medium eggs; the yolks are flawless, hash brown with cheese and toast. My other friend is a huge fan of their banana nut bread, it's a delectable breakfast item that feels more like a dessert and is dangerously addictive. I can't say enough positive things about this establishment, I will for sure be back again and again when in the area. There are plenty of other options. Please give them a visit and let them know what you think!

Our server was almost missing in action. One of the other servers actually helped us more than our server. The restaurant was very busy when we got there so I understand the server being busy as well. However it takes 2 minutes to check on your table.
