Waitresses are very friendly and hustle every time my family and I eat there. Always checking in on us, bringing us new plates, more cheese toast, etc. Clean atmosphere. Relatively fast in re-filling the chicken wings because 90% there's a line for it. Endless salad bar never fails! I love sizzler. read more

Have not been here for several years because it was really bad. What a surprise we had when we decided to try it after hearing from others that it had improved. Not disappointed at all. Food was good, service was great. We will be coming back. What happened to the cheese toast...have they stopped serving it. Forgot to ask because the rolls they did bring are very good read more

Food was only ok. But the service was great. Kimberly was on top of everything. Even fixed my order after I screwed up and ordered the wrong thing. The service makes me want to return even though the good doesn't justify it. read more

It's okay. It's not good it's not bad. See the salad bar was actually good just the chicken noodle soup was a bit sweet, not my type of soup. And the steak was really good. read more

Can I give it zero stars?!? I've been in line for damn near half an hour!!! Why do I have to wait so long to food that's already done?!?

Kristen greeted me when I walked in, and was very helpful with my selection. When I was at the table Lydia took my order and completed it with perfection. Always asking if there was anything else she could get me. The food was good and a great value. Thanks Ladies read more

I've eaten at Sizzlers quite a bit over the years. But most of the Sizzlers I went to have closed except for this one in Pinole, CA. The food is typical Sizzler food. I find that the steaks and even the new French Dip sandwich to be pretty salty. But the quality of food is not bad. The one thing that keeps me returning is their well-known salad bar. I love their clam chowder and fried chicken wings. I think these are the two most popular items in the salad bar besides the other salad items. The service, I find to be spotty at times. But the servers do try their best. read more

A really dirty place to go eat, all tables were dirty there was literally a family cleaning their own table. Waited for napkins for 15 min, really bad service. read more

Five start. I love the waitress Kimberly , she is a great waitress, you never have to ask for more drinks or alway come by and ask if you need anything. Food is good read more

The salad bar is great. The fried chicken is the best. I got the Maibu chicken. It was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Wished it looked like the menu picture! My husband got the steak and shrimp. It was better than the Malibu chicken. I love the rolls. Our server was good. We never have had a problem with the service. It was Sunday night. The place was very busy. They kept the salad bar well stocked. The only problem that I saw was that there was trash on the carpet that could have easily been picked up, but it stayed there the whole time that we were there. read more

Hum where do I start ? We live in the neighborhood and despite there is a lot of chain restaurant around, we love this place !! We been going for years and sometime better than others, but apparently there is a new management tam and the place has improve much more the last few months. We got our staples; my wife love the steak and shrimp skewers my boy and I we share 6 bones baby back ribs and the bacon loaded burger that is finger licking !!!! Of course we also get unlimited salad bar so we can have the signature clam chowder and some dessert to top of our meal usually ice cream and Vanilla pudding( that often have to request the cookies because they are popular among other guest ) We usually pick Monica s our server because she has a very charming personality and always a nice smile and always eager to help you in any way, she keep up a top notch service despite the fact that sometimes they are slam !! Monica is always in a great mode and keeps a good maintenance on her tables, clean plates,(takes away dirty plates) and always makes her rounds to check her tables. I have to mention that we she is not around we have another server that we like but his name does not come to my mind now but I'm sure that if tell you he has a spiky heir and really sharp mustache you will know whom I am talking about but anyway he is as great too ! always giving great attention to our table and always keeps my coffee warm ! (sorry buddy i forgot your name but next time i give you your review) As for the management, I think they have a little more room to improve but w the arrival of the new female GM I thing things are looking better.I will say the one things that it really need to improve is having enough cashiers(or faster ones) so the line move faster and instead of 20 minutes hopefully they can cut that wait in half !!! I guess if we wait less hungry and eat less ? is a win win or not ? Well, This is my honest review But I will say YES overall is good place to have a family gathering, enjoy a good meal and watch some sports. Thank you for reading, Fernando read more

To whom it concern: location sizzler at pinole # 0882. 1515 Fitzgerald Drive Pinole, Ca. 94564. First of all the cashier Jazmina has excellent service, very polite, inviting, and great customer service. My sister, and I went on 2-24-18 and purchase salad bar. The chicken noodle soup was just broth. Their wasn't any noodles which my sister told me. My sister let the waitress know around 7:20pm, brought it up to the waitress attention 3 times. Last time the waitress reply was will be ready in 2 minutes, and that was at 8:24pm, but earlier the boss put more clam chowder around 7:30pm, but didn't fill the chicken noodle soup which we requested. When we left still hadn't add any more noodle soup which we felt if you wasn't going to put anymore soup, because it closes at 9:00pm. All she had too say it's too late to add more. But remember we brought to their attention at 7:00 something when we arrived. My sister had to wait over an hour while the waitress kept saying all this time their working on it. She never was able to eat her favourite soup. Out of the 4 to 5 times altogether we been there including the next encounter i will talking about as well. Bad business not good. We decided to try it again so arrived on 3-2-18 at 1:35pm granted it, we come from fairfield ca. Not a short distance like right around the corner. Anyway Jazmina checked us in again. Once again excellent service. So we went to sit down, and purchased salad bar. The waitress came over while I was serving myself at sald bar. Sister asked for more plates, and bowls etc. So waitress came, and took tray away, and unwrapped silverware and sat on table. "Why we don't know". My sister yelled at her. Then went up to counter to tell boss. His response was "why did she do that". We don't know. The worst part of it was she checked in with all the customers, making sure everybody is alright, but treated us like we did something wrong. Also made us feel like we did something wrong. I called her from across the floor saying to her if I'm bothing you can you please bring me a glass of water with ice. She then put her finger up saying wait a minute, and then left. Next thing i know another waitress came over to help us, which waied on us previous. I told her what happened, and asked her why she's not waiting on us. "Her reply was, because my sister yelled at her. Well, this waitress didn't even apologize for putting her silverware on table. That is vwry unsanitary. We felt very uncomfortable, and made us feel like my sister was wrong, for getting upset for her doing. When all she could have done was apologize. Well thanks to her we go to napa location, and don't have too pay toll etc. Just wanted to let you know how this situation ended. It could have been solved by just an apologize. I did talk with my sister why she just didn't ask her for more silverware, but it is what it is. Bad business Just another tip of information while at the counter I noticed an employee wrapping silverware in napkin with bare hands, how do we know if their hands are clean or if they washed their hands etc. And then there wrapping the silverware. "What is gloves for". Where is the gloves. Very naughty bad business. Hopley you resolve this matter. Good luck. Terrible . read more

The reason I am giving a low rating is because of the staff. At least one of them. I blame the whole establishment when one staff member is at fault in giving bad service. Generally, I love going to Sizzler's for its salad bar. The guy who was serving drinks and supposedly giving an extra plate and napkins was out-to-lunch! I am a former owner of a restaurant and I never experienced such 'bad' service ever! I asked for napkins 3 times and can you believe it! He never did give me napkins. I asked for another plate - nothing - soda refills - nothing!!!! I had to go up to the counter to get my service. And he did not ever pick up my plate in front of me...my table was a mess! What's up with that???? Sizzlers is a franchise that should have the same service. It's a hustle for the wait staff to make tips and this server was awful. He should be re-trained or fired! I don't think I will make a trip back to that location - Never-Ever! Good-bye Sizzlers on Fritzgerald!!!! read more

Sizzler in Pinole has come a long way over the last few years. My family and I just started coming back to Sizzler in the last 6 months, and their food is great! My husband and I always order the steak and all you can eat shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp was fresh and hot when they brought it to us. My kids love the burgers. The patties are cooked the way they ordered them, and the fries were perfect.. our waiter was a little slow, which is why I didn't give 5 stars but other than that, I highly recommend having dinner st Sizzler in Pinole. read more

I don't live in Pinole, I actually stopped at this location on my way home to Sacramento. I really wanted to try the all you can eat Riblets. My visit started going down hill as soon as I sat down at the table. There was a gentlemen sitting in the corner across from us and the server was giving him all of her attention, she took at least 8 minutes to acknowledge us and to confirm what our order was. She ignored the senior citizens that were sitting across from her gentlemen friend, they asked for a refill she went and got the coffee pot and came back and had another 10 minute conversation with her gentlemen friend before she remembered she had customers to tend to and they finally got their refill. Our food was cold, we had to go to her to ask for extra sauce and to refill our soda and she brought us diet coke instead of root beer and back over to her gentlemen friend she went, We decided to leave and once again had to go over to her to ask for to go containers. We asked another server who was the manager as we were very angry at this point, she saw the other server pointing to the manager and she took off in the back and never came out. The manager was sitting two booths away from the servers gentlemen friend but didn't see any of this going on as he was on his cell phone. We talked to him about the horrible service we received, he apologized and it was not sincere and he made up a bunch of excuses for her, his tune changed when we said we were giving the location a bad yelp review. He offered us a 10.00 gift card (which is on it's way back to him) his employee made us feel like we didn't belong there and a 10.00 gift card is not going to cut it, the server needs to be written up and the manager needs to care about how his employees are treating customers. She knows what she did was not right. read more

I don't usually write reviews on corporate restaurants but I think this needs some loving stars they deserve. I was not really a sizzler fan before cuz the few sizzlers I've been in back in the days were umm not so good and always so disgusting looking... but ever since hubby and I came here that one time, we started coming back more often. This one seems to ALWAYS have it together! They keep the place nice and tidy. Whenever we feel the need to just have a decent and cheap dinner, then we'd come here! Food is always great. Steaks are quite tasty & tender and so them shrimps and lobsters! The one time my steak came and was not cooked medium how i like it , our server got so pissed at the cooks and was so embarrassed that he gave me a whole new meal for me to take home! I didn't even throw a fit or anything... I just simply asked if he could take it back and cook my steak a bit more. It wasn't even that of a big deal. Thought that was funny but heeyyy...that was totally awesome I got to take home another slab of steak, shrimps and baked potato! SCORE! And please peoples, do not expect your servers to be up kissing your behind all night serving you. Always remember, this IS SIZZLER not Skates on the bay. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! I've Been Here Multiple Times With My Boyfriend And Family For Lunch And Dinner Dine In . One Of The Times I Went Here With My Family And Her Kids We Had To Pull Baby Whips Out Her Diaper Bag To Clean Our Table As There Were No Already Busted Tables . Besides The Poor Service I Really Enjoyed The Shrimp Scampi But They Only Offer It With Noodles Which I Do Not Prefer So One Of The First Times I Went The Cashier Told Me To Just Order The Side Of Scampi With A Side Of Rice Which Was Exactly What I Wanted ! So Ive Been Ordering That For A Few Months So I Call Today To Place A Order Of It To Go The Woman On The Phone Says They Can't Do That She Was Working Last Time I Made A To Go And The Girl Who Took My Order Got In Trouble For That . I'm Not Understanding Why She Would Get In Trouble For Doing Something Countless Others Have . So I rare go out to Sizzlers and enjoy the place, but I do have to say that the waitress Tulawna, was awesome. She was really sweet and on point with drinks. She made sure our food came out. My family and I used to come here all the time until this one time we went in and there was an old lady there who looked like she might have been homeless just because of the way her hair looked. She was sitting right in front of us and She started licking her plate like if she was a dog or something. It was the most disgusting thing ever because she didn't stop licking the plate until it was spotless. There was not one stain left on that plate. Anyways, now I have this fear of going back to that location because I wouldn't want to get the plate she ate on. It was VERY disturbing and made me feel sick that whole day. read more

Decent food. Good salad bar. Prices have recently gone up about 50% for seniors. They took Salmon off the senior menu so salmon, salad bar, and ice tea is about $24 vs. $17. Recently Jasmine, their best cashier, left so getting through the line can take a long time. Tonight they had only one cashier and the line was moving very slowly. The assistant manager was standing there, but not helping. read more

My family and I stopped in on our way home from San Francisco on the 29th of December. I was told the salad bar was great. When I walked in I looked at the salad bar and wasn't impressed with the selections. I then decided to get an entree. My mother and I both got the surf and turf. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. My sister and niece both got the salad bar. When they were done eating there were no plates at the salad bar for them to go back and get more. We had to ask for more plates. When the waiter gave them new plates he didn't take the used ones off the table and with four of sitting there our table was getting cramped. I saw a man from another table get up and reuse his plate. So disgusting! That is illegal! When we eat saliva gets onto our plates and then when people go to serve themselves they sometimes have to tap the spoons onto the plates and can touch the saliva. Everyone can be eating everyone else's germs! That is a major health code violation! There should be signs stating it's illegal to reuse plates and there should be plates and bowls at the salad bar. I was also surprised that there weren't hand sanitizer dispensers at together end of the salad bar. Statistics show that people don't wash their hands long enough or with enough soap this transferring more germs and causing food borne illnesses. Our table was across from the restrooms and there should be a partition there. The men's room swung open and I don't need to see anyone standing there undoing their pants in anticipation of getting ready to use the stall. My sister had gotten up to get some nachos and the cheese was all watery! Nacho cheese should not be watery. It should be opaque. When it was finally time for us to leave I had to use the restroom and surprised that for a building with a capacity of 215 people there was only 1 stall! 1 stall! A line quickly formed and damn near went out the door. Upon exiting the building we walked through the salad bar and there was food and dirt everywhere! The carpet looked like it needed a deep clean. We all agreed that we never want to go back there. I hope for the sake of other patrons that the place gets cleaned up and that the health board comes in and doesn't give them a passing grade until they fix these changes. read more

I stopped in for dinner the other night and ordered the 'ribs and chicken'. The rib wasn't what the cook would have put on his plate to pay for but it was edible. Overall I was satisfied with my meal because the chicken was very good and the coleslaw was decent (I just had to add some mayonnaise because it was a little too dry) and the baked potato was excellent. The server named Rico was very good and attentive so I left him a $10 tip. What I found most appealing was the cleanliness of the restroom. When I went into the restroom to urinate and lifted up the toilet seat it was sparkling and noticeably clean. Like someone pays attention to the restrooms. That is one of my biggest pet peeves. I even left a compliment about it with the manager named Kristin. Please keep it up. I have found a new place to eat. I'll certainly be adding you to my list when I want a good salad and you have the best chicken burgers and hamburgers of any place I know and I didn't think anyone could take the place of my 'In 'n Out Burgers'. And no one ever cooks my French fries the way I like them, so why even bother to ask. Right? I've had french fries at the Sizzler 4 or 5 times now and they always get them perfectly done, not undercooked and not overcooked including nice and hot and cooked in fresh grease and always cooked to order. Twice I've ordered an extra side and came by just to get a side of french fries one day. I LOVE IT!!** I'll be back. My name is Leonard. I'll see you soon, maybe even tonight. read more

I used to love sizzler until last night. My son and I went in for dinner and we were treated like shit by the person that took the order named : (SHWEET) / Shewit. The person that takes your order or greets you at a restaurant sets the whole atmosphere and this little bitch was downright rude, mean and nasty. I order 1/2 dozen shrimp and child salad bar for my son. She failed to put the plate on the tray for my son and when I asked for it she slamme dthe plate on the tray and said see there it is. I did not ook at the recipt but when the wait staff brought the food I advised that we did not order that. The manager took my complaint and the wait staff was okay but I left with indegestion and a graet dislike for the Sizzler. My family has been patronizing that Sizzler in Pinole for years but even the people in line behind us were reluctant to place their orders after noticing how rude and nasty that person was to my son and I. I wasted my time and money. Service is everything. This person needs a class in customer service. My son woke up this morning and told me he had a nightmare about his experience and we will never go back. The sizzlers in Los Angeles and Albany have nice staff greeting you and taking your order. I will never go there again as long as I live. I have never been treated so bad by a sizzler employee. it is obvious that person that works there does not care to keep her job or want it because she needs to be dealt with on a corporate level. The food was okay but for that price and that treatment it was not worth it at all. read more

I used to enjoy going to Sizzler years ago - not any more! It's been about 3 years since I last ate there. Why? The overload of sodium they use in their dishes . . . UGH!!! I am so disappointed in Sizzler. In this day and age I would think that they would be more health minded in regard to their patrons. On the positive side, this is a nice looking restaurant with wooden tables nice windows-- although there is not much to see other than traffic. I have visited twice. Both times in Winter at night and yet the air conditioning was on. We had to wear our jackets during dinner. I had to send back the hot portion of the meal on both visits as it was cold. Yesterday, I also had to ask that the steak be cooked longer as it was pink inside-- I had ordered it medium well. I had the same waitress both times. She is very distant/cold and seems overwhelmed. When I asked her to remove dirty plates she took part but left other plates. I asked one of the cashiers if we could have a different waiter or waitress-- there were at least five in the room. She said yes but no one new came to our table. We noticed that people who were seated after us were getting their meals already and asked the waiter serving their table about our meal. He answered with a snarl that he was sure ours would be coming soon. Again, I explained to yet a different waiter that we had asked for a new waiter-- he was serving the table next to us-- he said we were not in his "zone" . On top of all this one of the busboys serving the salad bar was blowing his nose throughout the evening. He appeared to have a cold. Why was he working when sick in food service?!! The salad bar was pretty standard to Sizzlers. The Chicken Soup was good but the clam chowder tastes like it was out of a can. I had to pick through the melon on salad bar as every other piece was not ripe. We left a tip, but not a big one. read more

I would love to give credit to this place if they'd earned it but........I'd have to agree with Paul's 2006 review about the always-overcooked steaks... ugh! I had been frequenting this Sizzler for awhile now, mainly for the salad bar & addicting frickin' chicken wings(oh & yummy clam chowder)...Most recently, and the reason I gave them one-star, was the nasty attitude of one of the managers-on-duty as well as the steady, downhill-slide of the quality of just about everything I ate....not to mention the seats were sticky, the desert?(can I call frozen-powdered-chocolate watery ice cream desert?) The brocolli was water soaked, overcooked & flavorless. Portions have shrunk, I'm sure as a result of Corporate-Belt-Tightening... I've stopped eating there period & wouldn't recommend this location to anyone unless you only want the salad bar. I just went ahead & bought my own Bradley Meat Smoker from Amazon & it's been the best thing I've bought in the last 2 years! My smoker will pay for itself in a month, considering Sizzler charges over fifty bucks for 2, full slab, rib dinners. Plus I swear tht nasty MOD had all the kitchen staff spit all over the last order of ribs I had(didn't eat them), as they looked like they were soaked in slimy foam doggy-drool...And who really wants to watch the traffic sit on I-80 anyway? read more
