Started the dinner with picking our cutlery up and seating ourselves per cashier instructions after ordering. When waitress attended us afterwards, was disappointed to find out that this Sizzler in Hemet no longer carries the delicious dinner rolls that I love to inhale the fragrant yeast scent of so much. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to Sizzler. The salad bar was very clean and the food was fresh. The vegetables were crisp and the fruit was firm. My steak was cooked just right as was my wife's chicken. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs! I had not eaten at a Sizzler in at least 20 years! Management in this restaurant are clueless. Too many tables for one server and you can tell they are all stressed out. I wouldn't hire the managers to run even a taco stand. So sad it's a new restaurant gone bad like all others. Food is cold and tasteless. And all the manager does is offer you a free meal. Do you really think I want to come back for more? How bout you start from the top and reorganize management and lay off the servers and cooks for. Little bit ? I bet it would work better. The servers are nice but you can see the level of frustration it's sad they have to put up with mediocre management. My grandson LOVES the salad bar chicken wings so I made a special trip on a Tues evening to sizzlers (HEMET) just to get his wings to go. Everyone else in the house found out and placed their to-go orders. I spent a total of $208.00 for my total order. I had to pay the full price of a salad bar just for 12 wings. Okay. Long story short, the wings were NOT completely cooked all the way. I took them back to sizzlers the next morning at 11a right when they opened up and explained my issue with the Manager (Frank). He took one look at the wings and said he'll replace it with a new order of wings. He didn't even give me a hard time. He also apologized for the problem and added an extra 4 wings at no charge. He was keeping an eye on the kitchen and would give me an update on how much longer till they would be ready. When I took these wings home to my grandson, he was so surprised and thankful!! He didn't mention anything was wrong with the wings the night before. I just noticed each wing had only 1 bite and the rest uneaten. He didn't know I realized it and went and got him a new order. This review is to give manager Frank his props! He was soooo easy to deal with, very pleasant & professional and apologetic. Your store should be proud to have Frank as a representative!! Everything was great EXCEPT the restroom. I walked in to wash my hands when I arrived and the smell was appalling! I thought that by the end of my meal it would have been remedied. I went again, after my meal and was so nauseated by the odor. The second time, there was a staff member using the facilities, too. I was a bit disappointed in Sizzlers. The size and quality of the Ribeye steak doesn't warrant $32 and they no longer have chicken wings at the salad bar. We love the new location! Everything is fresh and delicious! The waiters are "Johnny on the spot" to pick up dirty plates or to refill beverages. Salad bar is fresh, dinners are cooked to perfection. I love the wing dings on the salad bar, although they must have a lot of sodium in them because I'm always really thirsty after eating them. We come here about once or twice a month. Hubby almost always ordered a steak dinner and I get the senior buffet, which includes a beverage, and you can order a baked potato to go with it, if you want to...a good deal, if you ask me. read more

We've eaten here about 4 times now. First of all, I despise waiting in line at any restaurant. The salad bar is below average. The greens and accoutrements are average, but the hot foods are not monitored for freshness, and almost all were rubbery and horrible. The onion rings were inedible. The chicken parts were rubbery and old. I've also had their steaks, which are tough. The fish and chips were soggy inside. The things I've had that have been ok, are the fries, and baked potatoes. What a shocker as this has never happened before: April18th was in a party of 9. Cashier told me I had probably pulled my credit card out to fast as receipt wasn't printing. My party was seated and a few served by the time I found them. I had the salad bar but my steak and potato was never served! As everyone was leaving, I asked the waitress if she found my lunch could it be boxed to go. When I got home, I found I did not receive mushroom topping and was charged 4 times! I was detained and told to try my card again and again. Each time it did charge. And then never delivered to the table. Not a good experience. It's really hard to admit that I am giving Sizzler a 5 star rating here on Yelp, but well they earned it! This place is not only doing an amazing buffet, but really good food too! So this is a brand new building that has open ceilings, great decor, HUGE televisions, and tons of seating. The company knew what they were doing when they built this because as they say "if you build it they will come" and YES they did! Sizzler is pretty much packed from open to close and its easy to see why people are coming in the way they are. It's Sizzler, so you pretty much know what its all about so I'll let you in on a few of my hidden secrets there! They have a "value menu" that consists of I think 6 options: fried shrimp, steak tips, malibu chicken, and two others (no clue what they are). This pricing INCLUDES salad bar which is $12.99 on its own! They are only about $13.99-$15.99 so now you get a whole meal on top of salad bar for a couple bucks! Just order the meal to be "held" and indulge and when you hit dessert ask your waitress to just have it boxed up and take it home! Boom lunch tomorrow! Second tip: they now have a "salad tossing" station...yes insert laughter here for the sexual pun, but its totally cool! You can grab a plate, fill it with what you want then take it to them where they have more toppings to choose from and will dump them in a bowl and toss it with fresh black pepper if you want! SO GOOD! I love a little dressing on every bite. Third tip: if you order the salad bar, baked potatoes are included with it! Yup! You heard right! I have been going there for idk like 20 plus years and had no idea! The waitress blew my mind when we went last time and asked if we wanted a baked potato, why yes yes I do! Fourth tip: cheese bread is made fresh to order, since the cook it on the grill it can take some time so order it as soon as your waitress makes eye contact with you OR as I do ask the hostess to put an order in for you! MUCH better idea, so they can start cooking it while you peruse the salad bar! read more

Food and salad bar are great, Service is good but my only negative comment was the bench (leather) was smelly as if someone had a bladder leak, I told the server and he asked us to move to another table as he would ask someone to clean the seat that took. Yes, I was surprised by the steak I had, all the fixings, it bought back memories but in a better way. I'm glad they stood the test of time and years. It's crazy for me to say this, but I'm a new fan of Sizzler!! I was pleasantly surprised!! I came here on a Saturday night around 530pm and the line wasn't too bad. I ordered the Sirloin 6oz with a baked potato and an all you can eat salad bar. The salad bar...WOW! All of the ingredients were super fresh. They have a taco station! For the price, it definitely makes sense. The table we were sat at was a little strange being that it looked out to the line and to other people eating. But other than that, it was great. Um, WOW! Best. Sizzler. Ever. Okay, the new Hemet location (approximately 5 months old now) is beyond impressive! The exterior is decorated very nicely, to blend not only with the shopping center, but the rugged makeup of Hemet, as well. Inside, is literally jaw-dropping. The restaurant is clean, open, colorful, inviting, and acoustically absorbs sound quite well! The menu board is descriptive, with large print, and easy to navigate. The cashier stands are more like podiums (3 of them), to separate the standard long line, during peak dining times. The space is designed with 3 sections for booth, high, and low-table seating. There are several large tv screens and soft music playing in the background. The lighting is relaxing and the sculptures/flowers, welcoming. The salad bar was fresh and contained your typical hot and cold foods. I ordered that, along with my usual Malibu Chicken (addiction). I had a baked sweet potato and hands-down, it was the best of my life! My server was Joanne and she smiled often, checked back with me regularly, and grabbed empty plates from the table, quickly. In the past, I hadn't ever thought to tip a server, when your bill's paid ahead of time, the food brought out by a runner, and empty plates stacked at other lower quality locations. Yet, she was well-deserving this time and at this particular establishment. I wish I lived in this area again, just to literally return to this place more often. Went to this new and improved sizzlers over the weekend with my boyfriend and we are very pleased with the service and outlook. But overall, we are very pleased with the food. We ordered a rib plate and salad bar to see our chances of food intake and cleanliness, the salad bar looked clean and had many choices to choose from, our rib plate looked so delicious that the look made the taste expectations even better. Overall very good! They were able to get seating arranged for all 14 of us to sit together. The service was quick and I was especially impressed by the salad bar. This is no ordinary salad bar; there are your standard choices, but also a bunch of pre-mixed salads with fresh berries, etc. I also enjoyed the (Tex-?)Mex fare, though we couldn't figure out what the shredded meat was. Also: Guac. Love the guac. The desserts had a siren call all their own, but I had to pass them up (birthday cake x3 later that day!)
