We started with hostess up front that night she was a sweetheart i wish i could have seen her name better, I'm usually really good with names. A Big Party came behind my Husband and myself, we had to hurry. Maribel was our server, she was friendly, and attentive which was nice as well. I had Steak, Sweet Potato with Maple butter yummy , my Husband had Shrimp different ways our Food was Delicious. I added the salad bar which I wish they had just a mini one as I only have a little of this, that, then I'm done, yet its fine because I love the variety although I never try more than 30% or so it's okay. My family and I come here quite often as a big group. We do family night every 2 weeks and we choose sizzler specifically cause it meets everyone's food needs. This last time specifically Isaiah ( our server) was phenomenal. So attentive to everyone's needs and kept up with cheese toast and drinks. He made our experience so enjoyable. We will be back. SHOUTOUT to JUAN! The Hemet Sizzler's is so fortunate to have Juan on their team. He's an expert on customer service and consistently proves it. I appreciate that he always brings out food and drinks in a flash. Additionally, he carries a happy attitude and disposition. It's refreshing to have great interactions with staff. My family and I always feel comfortable coming here and that's largely because the staff are committed to delivering a positive experience. We didn't get to enjoy clam chowder (I think they were out), however the salad bar and the rest of the usual selections (pasta, tacos, soft serve) were great. The food stations were tidy and items were easy to find. Overall, the restaurant is large and perfect for a variety of groups and vibes. The tables are clean and have proper spacing from each other to prevent foot traffic Jams lol. Parking is plentiful. read more

I was aware of as a kid when I was growing up I thought sizzler was the epitome of fancy dining. We went there for my eighth grade party, and it was the first time I had chocolate mousse, and I thought it was the greatest thing ever now, having grown up with parents who never took us out to eat, and it was adult who loves to go out to eat I realize is there is not the fanciest place on earth however I still like going there, especially since where I moved from, they closed down all their locations. I haven't been to a buffet since before Covid as a matter of fact when my boyfriend and I happened upon the sizzler in the parking lot of the Winco we were we were about to do our grocery shopping now you could just get the salad bar for 19.99 and fill up there and you could fill up there as it has things like meaty, tacos, and meatballs and soup, soups and salad and all kinds of things, but we always get like a steak and shrimp kind of platter to go with it and then you can add on a salad bar for like 10 bucks now it's become our little ritual for when we go to Winco. read more

I live 3 miles from Santa Monica Beach but wanted to celebrate my 67th Birthday at this location because I visited there several months ago while visiting some family members. I found it to be clean, spacious, a large selection of salad bar options, family friendly and most importantly excellent service. Just so happen I got the same Server "Juan" and when I tell you he was top notch . I work with the public and can tell you we as customers can be CHALLENGING, to say the least, you will have to love what you do to survive as a Server. We were a group of 20 on August 8th. Went with friends for the Free Veterans lunch. They had steaks; one with baked potato and the other with french fries. They both said the steak was delicious. The meal came with garlic bread-only 1 slice per person. I paid for my sirloin tips and mushrooms over rice. My steak was a little tuff, maybe because they were small pieces, but the portion was ample and my meal included free side salad and drink. The menu board does not state that, or I didn't read it well, but "thank you" to the cashier that asked if I wanted the side and when I found out it was free-well "yes" was my answer. Our waiter came often to ask if we needed anything else. There were a lot of customer, but our service was quick. I went to the restroom and found it to be clean. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. My family and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant for years, and after eating from the salad bar, multiple members of my family became very sick with what appeared to be food poisoning. We reached out not only to inform the restaurant, but because we genuinely expected some level of concern, compassion, or accountability. Instead, we were told that after their "investigation," no one else had reported getting sick, so they would not be issuing any type of refund. They also stated that they "welcome the health department to come inspect," which completely dismissed our experience rather than addressing it with empathy or professionalism. I understand that restaurants may not always be able to confirm the exact source of an illness, but the response we received was incredibly disheartening. As longtime customers, we expected to at least be treated with understanding and respect. Instead, it felt like our concerns were brushed aside and minimized. Customer service is not just about denying responsibility it's about how you treat people when something goes wrong especially as guest who ate there regularly. Sadly, this experience has caused our family to lose trust in a place we used to enjoy regularly. read more
