The sausages and potato were practically so mushy that they almost disintegrated when picking them up. The corn was too soft. We were able to walk up and make our order for some Baja nachos and street tacos since there was a special going on for them. We got seated and were able to grab utensils and so forth, and the area itself (along with the tables) were all nice and clean. Our order was ready pretty quickly and we were able to start eating. The street tacos were really good and had a good amount of toppings. The Al pastor and carne asada meat was really good. The nachos were also really good and loaded. The only thing is that the chips got soggy really fast because they were so loaded, so I'd recommend going with fries unless you plan on sharing the nachos to eat super quick. This is definitely a great spot in the area to stop by!

Some of the fried items, such as the French fries, teriyaki chicken, and egg rolls, looked a little dry. The servers were attentive throughout our meal, keeping our drinks refilled and regularly clearing used plates from the table. For the price, I think the buffet offers a reasonable value considering the variety of food available. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

The downside was the squid -- it was so chewy it felt like I was working through shoe leather. The shrimp were a nice size, but there were only three in the entire bowl. The crab stick was surprisingly tender after soaking in the broth, and the scallops were the tiny dime-sized bay scallops you kind of expect at this price point. I also ordered the crispy shrimp, but they honestly weren't crispy at all. More like steamed shrimp wrapped in a little tempura sleeping bag. I asked for no spice, but the broth still came out fairly spicy. When I mentioned it, the server kindly explained that was their normal level of spice. Overall, it was okay. Not terrible, not amazing. I'm not sure I'd personally come back, but everyone was friendly and I genuinely wish them the best.

When paying, I heard $14 (very reasonable for the small portion they give). Turns out I was charged $40. So are you telling me that Gator Bites cost $8 and frog legs cost $32??? It was 3 legs on top of a handful of fries! Gator bites were just about 7 (popcorn chicken-size) over a handful of french fries. Will dispute the charge with my CC company. Was it discrimination that they told a friend one price and gave me another? Or did they just try to rob me and hope I wouldn't notice? Or perhaps they told my friend $18? Who knows?
