Great food!! The cheeseburger was huge, tasty, and delicious. My wife had the pastrami sandwich, she said it was the best she's had. Go try them, you won't be disappointed! Friendly bartender, Good drinks too.

From the fresh ingredients to the incredible flavors, every bite was packed with quality and care. Not only was the food fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, the atmosphere was welcoming, the service was excellent (shoutout to Holly & Sofia), and the attention to detail was evident in everything we ordered. It's not often you find a place committed to making everything from scratch, but Savage Chef delivers on every level. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to again and again! PS: If I could give them 10 Stars, I would because Holly went above and beyond any service you can ever expect. My Hubs and I were driving back from a weekend in San Diego when we found this gem. We dined, had great conversations with staff, other customers and even Dylan, himself! We left, went to a supercharger to charge my car. Got home (35 mins away), before my Hubs realized he left his phone at the restaurant. I remember them saying they closed late. Called. They answered. Holly was still there and had the phone. She literally offered to bring it to us since we were far away but we couldn't put her out the way and Hubs needs his phone to drive his car. Drove back to the restaurant. Got there around 1:17am, Sunday, 06/14/26, and there was her smiling face with my Hubs phone. Thanks Holly and Alejandro for staying so we could get the phone. #SavageChefBarAndGrill #FoodieFind #MadeFromScratch #10StarExperience #SupportLocal #FoodieLife #InlandEmpireEats

Everyone working there was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Now... the drinks are no joke. I probably wouldn't recommend them if you don't drink often because they're STRONG. There's a two-drink limit per person for a reason! If you like a stiff drink though, you'll definitely get your money's worth. Overall, amazing food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Though different from your classics, the mixologists know what they're doing. We have been coming to this establishment for around 3 years and though we noticed there are different staff members very often, they are all very kind. It does make you wonder why there isn't any longevity. This recent weekend visit, the staff was still nice but wasn't attentive. Nothing stood out about the service and we found ourselves flagging them down a few times for re ups on water, napkins, etc. Food is still good, this was our first time trying the longaniza and shrimp appetizer and it was flavor packed! The baguette served on the side with the appetizer was the perfect combination. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I have ever had. The biscuit was buttery, soft, and savory. I am very picky with gravy and this one hit all the marks. Seasoned well, great texture, and not greasy at all. The carnitas chilaquiles are a classic although personally I wish they had more spice. The meat is tender, slightly sweet, and herbal. It seems that they got new tables. I do appreciate that they have misters for the outside tables and dogs are welcome on the outside patio. Love the outside seating since you can see old town.

The ambiance is well created with the dim lights, lit bar, and sounds of ice being shaken. My fiancé and I were seated right at the middle of the bar upon opening, and our bartender named Chris (?) was extremely welcoming with a sense of humor. He gave us an ample of amount of time to review the menus. We first got an IPA and the Love me Knot. For food, we ordered some Cajun fries and the party wings with red chimichurri sauce. The wings were fantastic! The fries were very crunchy, and I wish they were a tad bit softer. For our next round of drinks, we got the Old Fashioned and the Bee's Knees. The drinks were right on par. We left after a few hours and found ourselves quite satisfied. It was a fun experience and the monthly change of words above the liquor wall is always a conversation starter. Needless to say, we'll be back!

They didn't check on us or offer additional drinks, and since the service was slow, we ordered another. They claimed to have notified us about the last call, but that never happened. When our last drinks arrived, we had to chug them down because they were closing. The stares from the staff made the situation awkward. Overall, the experience felt quite rude and unfriendly. I highly don't recommend it; it's nothing special, and the drinks are basic.

The food was good overall and definitely satisfied the burger craving. The experience, however, was a little mixed. The service felt a bit awkward at times, and a few interactions with the staff just rubbed me the wrong way. Nothing major, just an odd vibe. The location itself could have been a little cleaner and more polished. I also noticed the Guy Fieri feature on the wall--which is cool--but at the end of the day, the food and experience still have to speak for themselves. Overall, the burger was good, but the service and atmosphere left some room for improvement.
