We had the all you can wat ribs They gave us a PILE of ribs in a delicious bar b que sauce. I had mashed potatoes with gravy, yummy and an ear of corn. Went here most recently several months ago with my parents, and I was pleasantly surprised. Last time I had been in here was almost immediately after they had re-opened after the remodel, and there was this weird smell at the salad bar. Not like a 'brand new car' type of smell, but rather off-putting. Anyways, no weird smells this time. The only complaint I had was that it took awhile to get our main dishes, and the cheese toast. Mmm...cheese toast. If you don't get that at Sizzler, you're doing it wrong. Anyways, the salad bar was good (although, what's up with not offering flour tortillas anymore?!), and the whole experience was pretty good overall. As a former food critic who used to work for a hospitality industry on the East Coast, I have traveled throughout my home state and at times certain parts of the country to survey and critique my dining experiences. In any restaurant establishments, quality food is critical, but quality service is ultimately paramount. Whether the foods are great or simple mediocre, 90 percent of diners return not because of the food but rather the quality service they have received or referred by friends and families which led me to write and share my personal experiences with one particular individual by the name of Mealea. I frequent this Sizzler when I visit my elderly parents who reside in a senior community within a fairly close proximity. Nearly every once or twice a month, we would come here to eat because my parents like the convenience of the short drive and especially so the heavenly "at-home" feeling service we received from Mealea. Generally speaking,we've been waited here by others as well. Don't get me wrong, but in terms of overall complete satisfaction, all hands down, in my opinion, to the best sever of all time in the West Coast, MEALEA. Respectively, it's only fair to mention my East Coast best server, Trent, in a small town in Delaware. In all aspects, this stage is spotlighted for Mealea. In my many observances of her work ethics, I see the qualities that not many can accomplish. Mealea's combined useage of time management and guest service is ultimately unparalleled to any other. On the other hand, her charismatic approach to delivering on her words is truly astounding. Mealea embraces the culture of true professionalism and caring service. After reading Ed Ws review I had to try this new Sizzler. Its all he said and more! My server Jazmen was awesome! Super attentive and sweet. She had a nice compliment about my shirt (so sweet). The salad bar was clean and everything Super fresh. I had Burgandy tips and rice. It was the perfect size after having the great salad. The rolls and butter were sweet and not something I would want again. They were very soft and warm, like they just made them. Wonder if they still have that Sizzler toast though... This is a great Sizzler.. always clean, the staff is nice, and buffet well provisioned. I go here often for salad bar (they are really the only place local for salad bar that I like) and steak. This is a 4-Star review only because everyone in our party was generally pleased and happy with their meal and experience. I suppose when you're prepared for a not stellar performance and then you have an okay performance, you are predisposed to be genuinely surprised. We were in town to visit the in-laws and this is what they wanted for dinner. Were we pleased? Probably not. But you grin and bear it because it will make someone you love happy. We hadn't been to a Sizzler in over a dozen years. However, not much has changed. You still order as soon as you walk in. The menu is still the same. There's the salad bar in the center. But I will say that this location is like brand new. Interior decorated to remind you of a sports bar or tavern with plenty of large TVs playing whatever game is on. It's well-maintained and still nice. I opted for the smallest sirloin steak (rare), vegetables, and the salad bar. Other folks in the party for the ribeye and endless shrimp or the combo with the Malibu chicken. I will tell you that my steak arrived medium and my vegetables were steamed within an inch of their natural lives...they were basically mush. The saving grace was the salad bar, which was surprisingly fresh and ample with lots of options. They even had some decent guacamole in their taco bar for a taco salad. The endless fried shrimp were more breading than shrimp. The mac & cheese, chicken tenders, and fries were a huge hit for the kids. One thing has changed a bit. They have fresh baked rolls and honey butter in addition to their cheese toast. To me, the cheese toast basically saved the experience. It remains unchanged after all of these years...and for that, it wasn't a complete waste. Service was good. Our server hustled during our meal. Refills (required some requests), boxes to go, and refills on cheese toast and endless fried shrimp were handled well. Like I said, most of the party was very pleased. Would I make it a point to come here, again? Probably not, but I'm glad everyone had a nice meal and we got to spend some time with the in-laws. read more

July 3, 2020, my friend and I went to Sizzler on Florida in Hemet, after I had driven by and seen covered tables outside. It was a great experience! We went in to order, and everything was very clean. The customer service was excellent. Staff was courteous and friendly. It was so nice to sit outside at a table. We enjoyed the fresh air. The tables were at least 6 feet apart. I only took one star off because we went when the sun was at an angle that still left a tiny bit on our table, and I am a wimp who needs shade. I spoiled myself and orders the steak and lobster. My friend splurged on the ribs and steak combo. Our server, Kylee, was wonderful! The food was cooked just right. The flavors were delicious. It was such a treat to get out of the house and enjoy a meal at a restaurant and still feel very safe. I highly recommend enjoying a meal al fresco at this Sizzler! read more

To top it off however, when I checked receipt to enter i discovered a 3.5% surcharge.. WTF? Called, girl that answered said it was too help offset the increased minimum wage? Said there were signs posted. Maybe, I didn't notice because if i had I WOULD NOT HAVE EATEN THERE. $17 for a tough piece of steak(?) and ONE trip to salad bar is already highway robbery. So I went to Sizzler. Was I impressed? Not really. Awesome salad and soup special for $10.99 but their entrees are otherwise expensive and super small. The staff were lovely. The place is clean and inviting. Next time I'll just get the salad special and not even bother with the entree. I ordered the chicken rosemary breast. It was tasteless and the presentation reminded me of hospital grub. Never again. But like I said, the only redeeming thing on the menu was the salad bar. I'd go again. Just went with the family and the servers there were great. Really nice. Especially Ruiz. I was very impressed. We were a party of over 15 & he was so calm and relaxed the whole time. I asked if he could sing "Happy Graduation" to my cousin and "Happy Birthday" to her teddy bear and he did with out hesitation.
