Update: Was in there yesterday and was sorely disappointed in nearly everything. Salad bar is now 16.99...AND...they didn't have a lot of the items on the salad bar that they usually have. Asked for a wet-nap...they didn't have those either. Went to this Sizzler yesterday, noticed a surcharge on the bill. I asked the manager what that was. He explained that corporate had added that charge as a way to recoup Covid losses. They have already raised their prices a lot and the salad bar was very minimal for $15.99. All restaurants suffered curing the pandemic but this was the first surcharge I've encountered. This is our first adventure into a Sizzler in a as long time and I was sure what to expect. This is more of a COVID report than a food report. They have limited inside dining and some outside tents. In line to order there are markers on the floor, but many people don't follow social distances. We sat at one "available " table but it still had food residue so we moved to another acceptable location. I am disappointed in the "house salad". Bag mix with only two grape tomatoes ( I left off the onion and cucumbers). The quantity of salad was acceptable. We order the smaller petite sirloin. The Med was too done and the Med Rare was too rare. The potato was great. The cheese toast was as tasty as usual, but limited and it seemed smaller ( not that I NEEDED a bigger piece or more pieces. I would say they were doing okay under tough situations, but I will wait several months before returning. read more

Went to sizzler for the 1st time in a couple years! Not expecting much, but the Salad Bar is now open again since the COVID restrictions have been lifted. I ordered the 8oz sirloin and loaded baked potatoe $15 bucks and salad bar $ 7.99 plus drink $3.00 I think my total was $30. Lot of food , the salad bar was as good as I remembered, love their soups. Ordered my steak Med Rare. As always, but it came medium almost med well? I tried a piece, thinking I was going to send it back. But even though it was overcooked it still was very juicy and tasted good, nicely seasoned, I was pleasantly surprised so I kept it. Also really good complementary cheese toast. This Sizzler is really a nice one. Newer, clean & the staff is nice. My husband chose the Triple Delight with a good size sirloin, fried shrimp and BBQ ribs & sides of a baked potato. I got the 2 shrimp skewers with rice and balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts. We both got salad bar. The salad bar has a good selection. Lettuce & topping choices; some fruits; pasta, potato and fake crab salads. In addition to the salads, there are soups, mac & cheese, and tacos. The triple delight's steak was pretty good-pretty tender & decent flavor. The baked potato was very tasty. The shrimp has less flavor and didn't taste like they had been grilled. The balsamic glaze was extremely sweet- most balsamic glazes are a bit more balanced sweet with tart. The rice was buttery with a weird flavor. The cheese bread was very good but the sweet bread was strange for a dinner roll but would be ok for a sandwich. The biggest problem was that our dinner cost almost $47 plus tip. That seemed outrageous for a Sizzler. The quality was 4 stars salad bar, 3 stars entrees but dropped down because of the prices. We won't be back. There are better choices in town. read more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this local restaurant and I must say, the experience was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the cashier, Isaiah. Throughout the meal, Jessica was incredibly attentive, making sure that my water glass was never empty and that my table was always clean and tidy.The food at the restaurant was equally impressive. I particularly enjoyed the classic trio, which the steak was perfectly charred and served with chicken and shrimp. But what really made the meal stand out was the service provided by Luis. He was polite, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure that my dining experience was the best it could possibly be. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I saw he was cleaning tables but went out of his way to get me more napkins or when I needed something and my waiter was too busy he would get it for me. After I was ready to leave he had a warm smile telling me to have a good rest of my day and he hopes to see me again. Sizzler is a time-honored tradition in my family. I have been eating there since I was a kid and still eat there fairly regularly. The Hemet Sizzler is one of the best I've ever been to, and definitely one of the best in this area. The restaurant is usually very clean and well-kept. The salad bar area is well organized and kept clean and clear of drips and dropped food. The food is generally very fresh. They do a good job of keeping it managed. The entrees are generally very good and this Sizzler seems to do a much better job on the steaks than other locations. So why 4 stars after this glowing review? The staff can be overwhelmed at times. It does get busy, but on slow nights they seem to run a smaller crew, which makes sense, but also can cause lengthy delays in getting food or additional items such as sauce, refills, napkins, etc. Other than that, I like their consistency and the experience overwhelmingly trends on the 4-5 star side. read more

I went with my sister while we were on vacation and we loved it! I'm sad I don't live closer because it would become my favorite place. I have recommended it to anyone who asks for somewhere to go, if not for the food, for the service alone. A sweet girl complimented my hair when I walked in (disappointed i didn't get a chance to ask her name to include her in this!!). We had a fun interaction with the cashier, Isaiah, who was very helpful with the menu items!! I think our server was named Cesar and we received an amazing experience altogether. Found out they also will toss a custom salad for you at a station they have next to the kitchen. It has ingredients not at the regular salad bar and no extra cost.
