My first and last time eating at Sizzler! Our drinks took 10 minutes to get to us. The restaurant was nearly empty and every other patron we saw got their drinks right away. We ordered 3 steaks and 1 burger. Three of which were medium well and should've been done in reasonable time due to the low cooking time and a half empty restaurant! 35 minutes later, when we did get our food, our steaks were completely wrong, wrong doneness and wrong sides! they even forgot the toast that comes with it. that toast she forgot too, took another 10 minutes. We did not receive new steaks, our waitress SYDNEY simply put the old steaks onto new plates.The manager simply said sorry for our experience and that we should have been helped quicker since it wasn't so busy. It's very clear how they treat certain customers, NATIVE AMERICANS. Sydney thank you for your crap service. Not all Natives are likely to tip low, just like anyone else! I like this Sizzler and stop almost every time I go to Flagstaff. I have found the salad bar to be fresh and well stocked.

We haven't been to Sizzler in forever and decided to go. One meal plus salad bar cost $29 plus more for a drink. The salad bar was gross as the lettuce was old and wilted. Everything looked like it had been sitting out a while. When I did get my shrimp and steak meal, the cocktail sauce looked disgusting. It was like jello. I asked the waiter about it and he's like yes that's our cocktail sauce and walked away. Another girl came by and took it in the back to get sone other kind. Fortunately came back with fresh cocktail sauce. Even after, the meal was subpar. We all felt sick after eating there as I went with my family of 4. I would skip this place and go to Red Lobster or some other seafood place. We will never be going back to this place again and our other option was the Olive Garden. We should have gone there instead since we already know that place is good. Skip this place. Waste of money!!! read more

Marion our sever was extremely nice, and some of the best service I've ever had. She made our family feel at home and always made sure we were happy. I had been up since early this morning and was pretty tired after the drive from Vegas, so I wanted to eat someplace close to my hotel. I noticed this place the last time I was here, so I decided to give it a shot. I will start with the positives. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have not eaten at a Sizzler since the late 70's, so I was asking the cashier many questions and she patiently and kindly answered them all. I ordered the Italian Herb Grilled Chicken, Sautéed Spinach, and the unlimited salad bar. It was $18 plus tip, so not too bad. I was probably one of a dozen customers in the whole place. But it was nice, because I got to sit close to a TV that had the World Series on, so that was nice. Restaurants like Sizzler, Bonanza, Ponderosa, and Western Sizzlin' were all very popular in the 70's through the mid 80's. They were great places to take families and feed them a decent meal for cheap. However, most of these types of places are gone, because they didn't change with the times. I felt I was stuck somewhere in the mid 80's. The decor is in bad need of an update. The salad bar part was good and fresh, but the rest of the food looked like it had been sitting there since the mid 80's. I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup too, which was also good. My waitress was Hannah and she was terrific. She asked if I wanted some cheese toast and I said sure, expecting something cheesy and gooey. Sadly, it was one piece of Texas Toast with like grated Parmesan on it. That's not cheese toast. Then my entree came. The chicken was cooked properly, but had no flavour whatsoever. I could not taste anything Italian about it. And they gave me a little spinach to go with my melted butter. It was literally swimming in it. I had a small bowl of soft serve vanilla ice cream from the putrid dessert bar. If you're looking for a cheap place with lots of food and taste isn't the priority, then this is a good place for you, but I sincerely doubt I will be back. For the price, the steak was VERY small! Don't expect to fill up on a steak entree. The breaded shrimp are 99% bread, no real substance. Salad bar has an AMAZING selection, I learned whenever I come here I only order the salad bar, you can easily make it a buffet style meal and for a pretty inexpensive price. read more

Hadn't been to a Sizzler In quite awhile. I was pleasantly surprised by not only the friendly cashier but my server. Destiny was outstanding. Perfect timing with food and a great personality! This place made me violently ill! I had the unlimited salad bar and butterfly shrimp. The shrimp could have come from the local grocer's freezer. It was that nondescript. The cake and bread pudding trays on the dessert bar were empty when we came in and 40 after our arrival. I had to ask them to replenish them, which they did. However, the dessert dishes were missing. We needed a fix of salad, which is often hard to find when traveling. This Sizzler had an awesome salad bar with something for everyone. And lots of other stuff comes with it, like soup, pasta, tacos, and desserts (including soft-serve ice cream!). Although it's a salad bar, you get plenty of protein too. My sister in law found an alive Caterpillar in her salad! She had it on her fork about to take a bite before she noticed it! I asked for a manager and when she came out all she said was " I don't know how it could have come from our food because we wash it all in the back". Basically accusing us of planting it. Had a very enjoyable dining experience with my selection of shrimp made perfectly and vegetable medley, after a delicious salad bar with vegies and fruits. We valued the menu options for seniors which we were very pleased with (thanks for including fish options). Josh, our server, provided one of the most memorable best service experiences we have ever encountered with his warm welcome, attentive care and genuine concern for our dining experience. Should have read Yelp reviews before eating here. The price was typical for a salad bar buffet. The hot food was cold and the salad bar wasn't very tasty. My son had a steak, and his steak was ok, but nothing special, just ok. Service was fine. We should have eaten at another restaurant because there were so many to choose from in the area. read more

This Sizzler is the best place to eat my favorite restaurant and we do a lot of traveling in the tri state area and this is by far the best Sizzler Restaurant. I have been going to Flagstaff westside Sizzler for twenty years, but over time quality of food and service has degraded steadily, with daytime manager Luis sometimes outright hostile to customers (don't know about evening manager, never go at that time of day). My last visit featured a server who, when I complained that my steak was served cold and after a long wait, made excuses instead of apologizing or offering to have the order redone. I walked out, leaving the cold steak on the table, and without asking the manager for a refund because, as I already said, he is famous for being hostile to customers. Flagstaff eastside is better but not much. Last time I was there I was served a baked potato that was withered and shrunk and obviously a leftover from the day before. All that said, I hung on years too long because the salad bar is excellent (you can't do much to ruin raw vegetables) and Sizzler is the only place in town that has one. But too much is too much and I'm done. read more

Stay Away from this Sizzler!!! Had dinner last night at this Sizzlers. We have always had good food from Sizzlers. This one was horrible. The salad bar food looked like it was old, kept in cooler without covering it. Shriveled, nasty looking. This was the onions, bell peppers, cauliflower, etc. the tomatoes were large but then instead of cutting into decent sizes, was chopped in 1/4's. No bowls were out for soup, hubby had to track someone down. No one was at the front desk when 4 men came in. They waited several minutes then left. They were the lucky ones and didn't even know it. Dessert was anyone's guess on what it was. Both containers had been sitting for so long whatever was inside was so dried out don't think even a dog would eat it. Our waitress was awesome, when she asked how it was, I told her. She said she would tell her manager. I thought the manager would come out to talk to us but that didn't happen. My advice is to pass this sizzler up. McDonalds would have been better and half the price. read more

Worst service I have ever had. Servers hanging in in threes chatting for 20 minutes at a time while plates pile up on the tables and customers, myself included, go without plates and drinks. I tried this Sizzler at about 4:30pm on a wednesday. Very friendly and happy staff. The chicken malibu was very tasty and the salad bar had an excellent selction and was very fresh and full. I heartily recommend this restaurant. read more

This Sizzler is one of the best that you will go to, so go to it!! It's sizzler for goodness sake, not a gourmet steak house so all of these other reviews are wtf ridiculous when they are complaining about expecting five star food from a two star establishment.
