I was hoping to have tortilla chips and nacho cheese. I got potato chips and I think onion dip.

I ran in here with my kid for a quick bite and we ended up enjoying the ambiance of all of the photos on the wall, the street signs and the TVs. I can only guess that the quiet atmosphere resulted from the after lunch period. So we were lucky to have a waiter with no choice but to be attentive and we were served quickly. The food came out hot and the buffalo shrimp had a nice kick to it. The burger and fries were tasty. This is definitely a great spot for a regular date night or hangout with friends and family. I'll be back to check out the evening ambiance.

Awesome local pub with extensive food options, excellent drink choices (cider lovers, they have quite a few to choose from), friendly fast service and a great vibe. Came in on Saturday night and was able to quickly get a table before the place filled up. If you're looking for a nearby watering hole with no frills and a good time. Check out Six Points!

Six Points Pub is by far my favorite place to eat in Bloomfield Center. All of the food in this establishment is great. But the best thing about the food is it's consistency. The kitchen staff is always on point in food preparation. To be honest, the only thing that I don't like about this place is the service. The lack of wait staff and wait staff attention to customers can be a lot better. But that's the only thing negative I have to say about this Pub. As for the ambience, it definitely has a pub feeling to it. And every once in a while, they have a trivia night that's pretty cool. So I would definitely recommend this spot for a quick bite and a drink. Hope you enjoy it!

Also a good place to grab a beer and bar food. Staff are great and personable. Nice selection of craft beer. Well worth checking it out at least once.

Second time at Six Points Pub and it was just as great as the first time. Very attentive servers and excellent food. We shared a Diablo Burger and a Bloomfield Burger... Taylor ham, egg, cheese on a burger?!?! Loaded with New Jersey awesomeness. The tater tot disco fries (Jersey thing) completely covered with gravy and cheese... taste bud orgasm. Both burgers were perfectly cooked medium rare. Plenty of tv's to catch a game and ample parking deck across the street. Perfect place to eat before heading to a show at the Welmont Theater right up the road in Montclair.

PROS: Very good food and priced well. Staff was friendly and the menu variety was plentiful. The atmosphere was better than the average bar and it was very spacious. CONS: Parking was scarce as it was only street parking OVERALL: One of the best bars I've been to in the area. I will absolutely come back

Just a good neighborhood bar. You think that would be an easy find but not so much with a lot of bars trying to go over the top. They do classic bar food right and execute it well. Chicken nachos are a favorite of mine and my husband loves their burgers. Beer selection is great and local. Parking is not great but there are some nearby lots and if you get lucky street parking. Now that we have a baby in tow we can't visit as much as we like but we look forward to bringing her with us and stop by for take out when the craving hits.

Food: (if not including the onion rings) 9/10 Service: 9/10 Wait: 6/10 Price point: 8/10 Ambience: chill/ low key Would I return: Yes Cool local spot/ bar. Food was pretty good minus the onion rings which where the worst I've ever experience. Our server Natalie was very nice. Definitely would recommended if looking for a chill hang out and good food.

Went here to watch the first Giant game. They have several TV"s , large bar and few high tables. We decided to sit at a high top in front of the main screen. Our server, Meghan came over immediately. Drink order taken. He wants nachos with chicken and I want nachos NO chicken. I suggest getting the chicken in the side. My husband looks to Meghan, would should I do he ask. With the biggest smile she said get it on the side. That was the first of many laughs. We ended the day at the bar. Bartender made sure I drinks were replenished. We needed it. The Giants were playing their best. Bonus *great place for those who like tater tots *owners are always on the floor *outdoor seating *plenty of parking

We love Six Points Pub and we love having it in our downtown! It's casual, but really cute (great light fixtures). Has a variety of booths, tables, high tops, and the bar. There's a lot of televisions showing all different sports games. Bathrooms are always spotless and there's a hall of historic photos of Bloomfield. Their food is solid! It's not just bar food, they have a huge, huge menu and tons of vegetarian options. I love their giant pretzel - comes out super hot and fresh. I also like the Buffalo chicken flatbread and my husband always gets their wings. Their drink selection (especially their beer options) is obviously great and I always get their Ginger Mule. Service has always been excellent, even on the busiest nights. They're quick and friendly. Six Points also does trivia and bingo nights and we had so much when we accidentally came on bingo night! Great spot and so happy to support a local restaurant.

Fish Tacos. Delicious and very generous portions.

Great pub really delicious food. Had a great jazz band playing tonight too. Very happy with everything.

Even after we left and other people sat where we were, the dirty paper plates and napkins were still on the table. It took about 40 minutes for the burger. Fries were also ordered. They were thick and kind of dry even though they were covered in cheese. I would pass on those next time. The meat of the burger was pretty good. The cheese was melted on the bun, not the burger. We ate here around 1:30PM on a Saturday and found the restaurant moderately busy which we figured was a good sign. Note that there are multiple entrances into the restaurant so you'll want to make sure you actually find the hostess desk so you can make sure you get seated properly. The venue itself is pretty expansive, featuring a dining foyer, then bar area with high tops and then another larger dining area towards the back. Our waiter was friendly and attentive though we found most of the food to be quite salty. We started off with their daily soup (a chicken tortilla-type one) as it was cold outside and found it extremely over-salted. For our mains we ordered a double-cheeseburger and the fish and chips which both came highly recommended on the menu. The burger was pretty solid and a hearty portion of food, though I was disappointed it didn't come with fries which have to be ordered separately (~$7-$9 upcharge depending on whether you get Parmesan or not). I think the meat is Pat La Frieda which is high quality and was pretty stuffed after eating it. The onion rings were also tasty (though again, quite salty) and were a generous portion which I was pleased considering they're $12. Finally, the fish & chips my partner ordered were solid though again, really salty. Overall, I'd recommend coming here if you're looking for a nice, simple place to get a burger and the basics. Their menu is pretty extensive featuring everything from chicken pot pies, quesadillas and fish but I'd recommend sticking to the classics. 2/5 for the food, 4/5 for the ambiance/service.

We had a 6:30pm dinner reservation on a Tuesday evening. There's a parking lot in the rear with allocated spots. There's also street parking nearby. The restaurant was lively and busy. They have a full bar, high top tables, communal booth seating along one wall, and a section with tables for groups. It's not a huge place, so I recommend making reservations, especially for larger groups. The interior is styled after a casual European pub, but with rustic and elegant touches like fuchsia bougainvillea flowers, hanging industrial lights, antique chandeliers, distressed wood, etc. It's the ideal spot for date nights and celebrations. The tables are close together, so it does feel a bit crowded and the noise level can get high. The menu offers classic favorites from both European and American cuisines. The European dishes mainly consist of Italian, Greek, and Mediterranean flavors. I was surprised to see they have a full sushi menu! The drink menu is extensive - cocktails, wines, beer, hard liquor, you name it! Just a heads up - the prices listed on the menu are cash prices. Card pricing is available on their website. Mark was our server and I could tell that he enjoys his job! He had a fun personality and was attentive & welcoming from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us recommendations on what to order. He made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The other staff members were quick with clearing our dishes and refilling waters. Not once did we feel rushed. 5 star service from Mark! We received complimentary bread and marinara dip to start, which we weren't too crazy about. The bread would've been better if it was served warm and had more seasoning on top. The marinara was watery and a bit bland. We ordered... *Porn Star Martini $16 (Weber Ranch vodka, passion fruit, lime, vanilla, sparkling rose) - My new favorite cocktail ;) It was the right balance of tropical, tart, and sweet. The sweetness was very subtle and the passion fruit flavor really shone through. The sparkling wine added a bubbly, crisp finish with every sip. I could definitely taste the alcohol... and I felt it running through my veins too LOL. *Pear Flatbread $18 (brie, caramelized pears, crumbled bacon, arugula, balsamic drizzle) - Highly recommend this appetizer! The bread is very thin and crispy, so it won't fill you up too much before your main course. Every bite was cheesy goodness combined with sweet & salty flavors from the pears and crunchy bacon bits. *Charred Hanger Steak $35 (with side of roasted mashed potatoes, wilted spinach, & chimichurri sauce) - Absolutely delicious! I requested my steak to be done medium and the chef delivered. It had a pink center with a rich, beefy flavor. It was tender, juicy, and paired well with the fresh, tangy, & herbal flavors of the chimichurri sauce. The mashed potatoes were soft and buttery. I only wish I got a larger portion of steak LOL. *French Chicken Breast $28 (topped with asparagus, manchego, almonds, pink peppercorns, capers, & potatoes) - The chicken was tender, but lacked moisture. It was a bit dry, but still enjoyable enough to eat. *Espresso Martini Shot $5 (Ketel One Vodka, espresso, Caffe Borghetti) - Coffee + alcohol.... a winner!!! The espresso and the vodka were nicely balanced. This was the perfect dessert drink - smooth, bold, nutty, & sweet. I would happily return. Good food, good drinks, good service, good ambiance... I'm already hyped for my second visit!
