I would have gave a 5 star review but the lady behind the window where you go to collect payment was very unprofessional and rude. She must have been having a bad morning. I was there this morning (05/17/2025) and the car line did not move for 30 minutes. Three cars left the line three minutes prior, and I left. No indication at all that it will move, not any one came out or explain the wait. When I left, the line was three times longer from my position, and that would likely be an hour if they were operational. Last I was there, it was a 20 minute wait with the line moving. Just one star as the line should have really moved and/or an employee tells people what is going on. read more

Came here for the first time and although they do run it as efficiently as possible, the amount of customers is plentiful, so a Saturday wait in line is to be expected. The hours of service could be a bit longer to handle the needs but that is the beauty of capitalism. The payout seemed to be rather low but metal prices vary with Copper, brass and metal being the lowest. My suggestion is to expect a delay and have patience. read more

I dislike leaving any negative reviews on Yelp and in this case I sent an email direct to the manager first instead but apparently he doesn't care to reply, so I'll leave a review here. I had a coupon on my phone from this business and attempted to use the coupon for my recyclables. The female behind the counter told me I couldn't use it because I signed the receipt?!? I told her I didn't know that and it wasn't explained on the coupon - she rudely told me there were "signs everywhere" (there is a very small print paper hanging near the window on the building) and once I signed the receipt I was accepting the amount on the receipt and she would not honor the coupon. Please note I had told the person in the yard that helped me that I had the coupon and he acknowledged it. Much more than the $$ difference and acknowledging they did have a sign, the bigger issue was with her customer service skills that were non existent. Her manager obviously doesn't have a problem with how she talks to and treats customers as he never replied to my email. I would ask that if the management feels a "rule" like this is necessary (signing the receipt when you have a coupon) it should at least print it clearly on the coupon (and maybe print those alleged "signs everywhere" in a font you can see and read)- be more transparent with petty rules and even more so, stop having rude and unprofessional employees behind a window enforce it with a sarcastic smile on their face. By the way, although the system they use to take in customer's recycling seems fairly inefficient, the employees in the yard assisting with this task are pleasant enough and it seems they do their best to move people through the facility with what they're given to work with. read more

Long wait times! Went on a Monday around 1330 and line was out to the street and did not move for 20 minutes that we waited, At that pace we would've waited over an hour. You're better off going to the recycling spots in supermarket parking lots, I only tried this place cause my regular spot was closed on Mondays. read more

Love going here, if you go on the weekdays, it's quick and efficient. I love talking with the employees and everyone is super friendly. Make sure to wait by the stop sign and have them waive you up, or else you could be causing a traffic jam. Starting off, I have been a customer here for over 15 years and today was my last visit ever. I had a truck in front of me with scrap on it and the driver waved me by him because I only had plastic and cans and glass to recycle. This caused one of the main guys at the scale to get extremely upset with me because he said I didn't wait in line. After this, things only got worse. Again, I have been coming here for over 15 years and always have all my recycling segregated before I arrive. This morning, a neighbor happened to ask me if I wanted to take one bag full of recycle as well and I said yes. Little did I know this bag had plastic and cans in it and it wasn't segregated. Again, the guy at the scale got mad even though I explained to him I don't mind pulling up front and spending the two minuets it would of took me to get it organized but he said no that's not possible you have to come back with that one bag a different time. Okay, that's fine, I told him and I also told him that's a very unprofessional way to do business especially with customer's that have been supporting this business for years and it was obvious I always had all my stuff organized as I had 7 trashcans full of recycling on my truck organized. So I informed him I will be leaving him and Six-Pac a very negative review online and this is where I hope all of the 2.5 million people that have read my reviews come in and see this review and also no longer support this establishment. After this, the front scale guy who I believe his name was Daniel went to the front office and out came Brent Benson who said he is the owner. Before he even let me say what had happened he immediately started belittling me and telling me I should know what to do and again his head was so far up his rear end he never even let me explain the situation while I was staying completely calm and hoping he would eventually finish talking and let me explain what had happened. Well that never happened, its apparent his head his so big because he thinks he owns the only recycling center in town he does not give two cents about customers and has ZERO real world customer experience or knowledge on how to treat people that keep food on his table. He finished by telling me never to come back which I already was planning on and stormed away in a hissy fit and hid in side the office. Well Brent, I hope you realize now what a mistake you made and even if this review reaches 100 people a month, I hope that's 100 less people that have to deal with your level of unprofessionalism and find a better place to take their recycles. I live in South Corona and will be taking my recycles south to Lake Elsinore to Cans Plus Recycling as I have heard from many neighbors they treat their loyal customers with respect and support the veteran community! I only wish I had gone there to begin with, again, to anybody reading this review please save yourself the trouble and don't support Six-Pac recycling until they understand that in this country the customer comes first and not the other way around! read more

I have been using Six Pack recycling for at least 20 years. I have always received excellent service until yesterday. There was only six cars in front of me, so I assumed it wouldn't take long, little did I know it would take almost an hour to get me in and out. They only had one operator and several helpers. The helpers were doing as much as they could. I waited patiently just like the other patron. However, I was very disappointed that they only had one employee operating the scales. One of the helper was preparing the Customer recyclables before it was my turn, who had quite a bit of recycles, it appeared that he had inadvertently mixed in non-recyclables with his plastics, and instead of having one of the helpers sort through them. The scale operator took the time to sort them himself, it was a slow process as there was quite a bit of plastics. In my opinion, he should've had the helpers sort through them, and moved onto the next Customer. Everyone stood around watching him sort through this customer's bags. The scale operator still had a customer waiting for his ticket that he forgot about. By the time I was taken care of, the line was down the street. I asked the manager about the lack of scale operators and he said the other one was at lunch. Someone needed to assist as a scale operator, even the manager, especially during a very busy time. When you are sitting in your car with the engine on, you have no clue what is going on in front, you don't have the option to get out of the line and leave. Very disappointed on today's service, this definitely threw a wrench in the list of things I needed to get done that day that didn't get done. When I tried to speak to the person at the window, about today's service, she came across dismissive, she definitely didn't wanna hear my disappointment, I was very calm and just letting her know. My usual down the street go to recycling place closed, along with all the rest of the Re-Planet sites...so here I am. There is another recycling place in my area, that always advertises & has a coupon for additional savings. I would use "their" coupon at Re-Planet (they honored all coupons) rather than drive the extra 2 miles to this "other" place. So it made logical sense that I may as well start taking my recycles there, right? I wanted directions to see exactly where they are located so I looked them up on Yelp & boy am I glad I did. The reviews for this other facility was very revealing. Long story short, after reading about the horrible service many customers were dealt, many referred Six-Pac Recycling as a much better alternative. So here I am...& I'm extremely happy to share. Update: 5 stars down to 3 due to extremely rude person behind cashier/checkout window. My experience has always been cheerful friendly & respectful but the last 2 times was so shocking it left me speechless. I couldn't hear what she said so I asked her to please repeat it & her tone was so rude. The 2nd time, I noticed my CRV bottles were not included on my total redemption ticket. After she contacted the person that handled my recycles, she hands me an updated receipt. I look at it & say there's a discrepency in the number of bottles I brought. She proceeds to argue that's what the guy said he counted, basically saying he's right, I'm wrong. I wasn't about to argue with a faceless voice. Well, Daniel, who appears to be the "supervisor " began aggressively waving at me to move towards different cones. HORRIBLE customer service! I made 2 trips there today. It was crowded, which is to be expected on a Saturday, so after seeing a long line the first time I returned later. Although it was still a long line, I was fine with waiting because after having loaded all the recycled items I knew it was unload or wait another week due to work schedule. After finally reaching the gate, following being directed to enter by staff, the guy, who I assume is the owner or manager closes the gate and approaches my car saying "I know you're gonna hate me, but the guy who cuts off the line didn't show up". He went on to say he would be firing him on Monday and asked how I think he feels since he now has to go out and tell all the other cars in line he's closed. I asked wouldn't it be reasonable to at least accommodate the 3 cars that entered the lot as directed by his staff. He declined saying then he'd be here til 5:00 if he gave others a pass. Just ridiculous as it was 2:00 and I explained how long I had waited. The person behind me got out his car yelling. Another upset customer. I cannot believe as opposed to accommodating he went on to ask how I think he feels. That topped off by "I know you're gonna hate me" as an introduction!! Hate is a strong word, and even though I'm appalled by the way it was handled there's no hatred, yet I will never patronize this business! I even heard him suggest to the customer behind me as he explained that he had a truck full of recyclables to "You can't leave them here. I don't know what to tell you. Give them to the homeless nearby." I'm not sure what pedestal this guy thinks he's on, but he surely needs to learn how to relate to people. Corona is a small city and word travels fast. I have had her before but hadn't seen her in quite a while but she was there this week when I went. I didn't get her name, but she doesn't belong working with customers. Contributing to our environment and recycle all your aluminum, plastic, glasses and more! This is paid by weight and you CANNOT sort your stuff on site. It must be pre-sorted. Sometimes there is a long line, it's really hit or miss though. Bring your own gloves! Just in case. A couple of their staff are really friendly, and some are just straight forward who just wants to clear your stuff and get you out and move on. I don't mind either way. Lol I shall be back! While the process of recycling here is fairly easy and very convenient, the counter to receive your money is staffed with rude employees. Be prepared to have an unpleasant experience with these ladies and be sure to read every single sign on the window (there are many) to avoid making a simple mistake that will get you reprimanded.
