I checked in yesterday to sell bottles and experienced excellent Service from the Gentlemen running the afternoon shift! They were very kind and responsible in giving me a heads up about the cash shortage and how all the Customers would be given a ticket to redeem the cash the following day instead. The Stylishly Cool Cambodian Team Member was so welcoming and friendly in making the whole sorting and organizing process feel easy and fun with his attentively caring attitude! I appreciated how he asked me how work was going for me and if I enjoyed my Fourth of July, and we talked about the interesting challenges of trying to enjoy the Asian Food our Parents like to make while acknowledging our ABC limits at the same time :0) Thank you to the Sunset Team for always modeling authentically cool Hospitality and making running errands feel effortlessly fun and energizing!! I love coming to this Recycling Center the most and the friendly and down to earth Team Members keep me coming back with their flavorfully chic personalities :0) read more

They steal more and more now, eve they feel embarrassed. My full load of mini van of recycled stuff, only got 20 dollars today. read more

We went to recycle Sunday 7/12 around 2pm. The staff informed us that they had run out of cash and were only issuing receipts/vouchers to be redeemed on a later day. Sounded good except the next day they were out of cash again by the PM. So I went Tuesday 7/14 in the AM right after 9am when they should have been opened. But doors were closed and no staff in sight just a few other people waiting impatiently to no avail. After 20 mins I gave up and left but not before calling their business line and leaving a message with their AI attendant. Feeling a little like I've been scammed and definitely out the gas money for 3 wasted trips. read more

People were nice, transaction went quickly, price were competitive with other recycling places in the neighborhood

Pretty sure I was shorted on the amount. Brought 6 large bags of aluminum and they gave me 35. Pretty big tip for themselves.

nice guys working there. Quick and easy. No issues and there is a dumpster to throw away anything else

Was supposed to get back $50.27, got $39. When asked to provide remainder of money, was called a liar. Reluctantly gave me $10, guess he needs that $1.27 read more

You put all your recycling into the baskets (sort them out) and bring gloves since the basics are dirty. Get everything weighed and they pay cash - very easy. Let's all help our planet - it's been good to us! read more

Rolled up to this place in a rented truck from Home Depot, had 3 large trash cans and 4 trash bags of recyclables, all sorted, just needed to be dumped in bins and weighed. Got there 10 minutes to close and the dudes turned me away. Mind you there are 2 other customers in SUVs, still sorting and unloading. I responded that the truck was more intimidating than the load and they asked to see what I had, after they looked inside they still said they were about to close and don't have time. I was really upset considering I had a rental and options were limited to cash in on these recyclables... as I am taking off another car rolls up and starts to unload. As I drove away I yelled out the window "thought you were closed?!" I was so bothered that this is my first yelp review, couldn't pass up the opportunity to share my crappy experience. Maybe change your closing time to allow enough time for processing since I'm not the only yelper mentioning this. Terrible customer service... got a better deal further down the road so thanks for turning me away, I'll never try this place again. read more

Smooth experience. In & out. Just make sure you're aware of the 2 options, either sort or by weight. They may not verbally tell you your options but just know how much you have worth read more

Never had any issues, for years until today. I took off work early to make it in before they closed. We arrived at 4:25PM and some young employee turned us away. I said, "you close at 5" and he said, "we were too busy today"!!! I asked if there is another place I can go, he said, "I don't know. He was in the process of excepting recycling from someone else the entire time. I said, " come on man, what am I supposed to do, my trunk is full of recycling?". "He said, "come back tomorrow" and started laughing. This is horrible business and customer service! If you close at 5, close at 5. If you need to change your hours and close at 4:30, change your sign. Bad employees make for bad business!!! read more

No view of the weight scale and no receipt provided. Not very honest. Go somewhere else!

They cheat you big time. Scale is not in view. Very dishonest for not letting you view the actual weight of your recycle. They don't provide you receipt either. Sneaky. read more

Sunset Recycling Center - Customers demand for transparency. Ask to view the actual weight and ask them to provide you receipt. - Recycling Center Near Me - Eastvale, California

I would never take my stuff here again. Can't see the weight of our recyclables. Had more than 6 containers of plastic bottles and almost 2 full containers of aluminum cans. The receipt only showed the weight they were paying you for. All other places I've gone to shows the total weight and subtract the container weight. Not this place. Never again read more

Quick and easy!!! Totally recommend to anyone with a small amount of recycling. I go at least once a week and the pricing is reasonable. It's super clean area. read more

Avoid like plague hobos and sad workers smells like meth. Lowest pay out in IE . Only have enough bins for one customer at a time . No order to anything. I left after 30 mins of waiting and fighting homeless to get a place in line . Another place less than 3 blocks away that's way more professional read more

The female worker there is very rude. You can tell she doesn't like her job. Very unprofessional attitude.

I'm giving this place a 5 start just because the female worker kept the area clean, their was no bottle caps on the floor a little bit of debris but that's common Bc of the winds and fire.. She was very friendly, she greeted me, made me feel welcomed she even started a brief conversation with me. Having the center clean makes me want to come back. read more
