We did a test and weighted every bag of plastic bottle that we took and ended up weighting 24lbs, when it was time for them to weigh it , they only totaled 20lbs, so they took about 20% of the weight. This was one of my first times recycling, so not sure how normal that is, in the end we got $36 for 24lbs of plastic bottles. Was expecting at least $40, which would have been if they hadn't taken the 20% for profit i assume. Anyway, ill try a different place next time and see if they take the same amount for themselves. Came here to do some recycling and it wasn't very busy. Can here at 11:20 am on a Monday only 1 other person was there recycling. This location does filter your bings before placing it on the scale. So if you think you'll get away with some liquid left in your bottle I will save you the time and just pour everything out The staff here was friendly and I had some that they didn't take. It's mouthwash bottles that had the recycling symbol on the label however they don't pay. Luckily I know a place that will take it so I was able to get my bottles back. First time coming here and I will be coming back! Staff: very friendly Denise explained to me how the process works because it was my1st ever to do recycling. And Abel was so kind to help me when he finished his workload. I was exactly super fast at putting the bottles In the correct basket so maybe he say I needed that extra hand since I had A LOT of bags! Abel even helped me throw my trash bags away, thank you! Location : very easy to find just being the superior supermarket. And you can park along side the building with the shade I had 1/4 basket of glass 1/2 basket of cans 3 1/5 basket of plastic bottle Walked away with $63! WOW and I used that extra money for my groceries hahaha And it doesn't smell which I like. I went on a Tuesday around 11:40am no line and I was the only one there.
