This is hands down the best paying buyers in the area. They do things right here. They pay out Top Dollar unlike places like SA. When I finally had figured out how recycle yards bought stuff I knew never go back to SA Recycle. I showed up with 100 lbs or clean #2 copper one day and asked what it was paying out that day before I took it to the scales. He asks me how many pounds I had to which I told him 100lbs. He then says that 100lbs he could pay $1..25 per lbs and that if I had less he could pay more. WTF??? KICK ROCKS WITH THAT BULL!! Never will I return. This business used to have coupons in the local free paper which first drew me to them. The pros are they have lots of containers to sort recyclables so the process moves quickly. Other companies have fewer so you have to wait in line to sort your items, then wait in another line to have them weighed or counted. The people are generally helpful. The cons are a general lack of cleanliness and sometimes it smells bad. The owners could improve the experience e by stepping up their cleaning effort. read more

I have never been to a recycle center before, I came here because my granddaughters wanted to collect bottles and use the extra money for activities, I pulled up and you could definitely see on my face I didn't know what to do, The gentleman are very nice here and helpful to women with kids. I was quite happy it wasn't dirty and disgusting for A recycling yard, clean I guess is it could be, but the customer service with the gentleman was worth it thank you for taking the time to help my granddaughters it was truly appreciated. I work for Rene's Plumbing Repair and we have been doing business with Continental Recycling for decades. Continental Recycling pays top dollar for scrap and the thing I like best is they pay you right away! No having to come back with a receipt after two days...that's a hassle. Only knock I would have is that it is terribly difficult to hear the employees behind the glass when turning in your receipt. Do not take your recycling here, this place is garbage the workers are thieves that cheat you out of your money. I got cheated out of 4 bags full of plastic water bottles that I get from work only because the bottles did not have the CRV info on the side. I tried to explain to the worker who thought he was some sort of plastic police that the reason is because the bottles are not sold to us or to the public that's why they don't have it on the label and that it's still regular plastic like all the other bottles but the worker was hell bent on not treating them like all the other plastic. He ended up calling the "manager" some clown named Felix which could not tell me why he couldn't pay me for the bottles. I've also seen them telling customers certain things weren't pure or valuable then only to turn around and keep them for themselves. Go some where else trust me. read more
