We are receiving notices about cars being too close to the bins in regard to cars parked on the public street. Shouldn't notifications be left on the car parking too close to the bins? They often refuse to take wine bottles at the Alessandro location of Sunset Recycling Center. I got…read moreinto a shouting match with the recycling center's employee and manager (Manny). They said THEY DIDN'T HAVE ROOM for my bottles and they expected me to go away! This was the THIRD time the bottle return has been refused. I finally, after complaining loudly, got them to accept the bottles. How outrageous is this? All for TEN DOLLARS! SHAME! The State of California forces you to pay a bottle deposit fee but then, refuses to return the fee if you return the BOTTLE. Just OUTRAGEOUS! I filed a complaint with the state of California. Here is where you can file a complaint with this outrageous "business." https://calrecycle.ca.gov/bevcontainer/complaints/ I took pictures too. And I hope CalRecycling gets them. SHAME on this company. We should all file complaints when they refuse our returns!
