Decided to try a new spot in Jackson and landed here. Before we even got into the door, we were…read moregreeted warmly by the hostess and another staff member who held the door for my mom. Nice! We were seated quickly, as it was not super busy on a Saturday afternoon. Our server came quickly and took our drink orders and filled them quickly. She even handled our change of mind without a pause. Nice! Appetizer of Fried ravioli with Parmesan cheese sprinkled was nice and crunchy. Served with marinara sauce. Mom got the Chicken Parmigiana, layered over fettuccini. The portion was huge and quite crunchy, without being overcooked. The chicken was still tender and not dry but the flavor was just meh. It also was lacking in marinara sauce for the noodles. The star of the show was the 4 Train Remix pizza! It comes with Grade mozerella, grilled chicken, smoked gouda, pickled onions, roasted corn, chipotle bbq sauce and cilantro. I opted to add brisket to the 14" pie. Have mercy! The flavor!! The toppings worked so well together and the brisket just added another level of complexity. I would have preferred a slightly thicker crust since the oils tend to sog our the crust. It was a little messy to hold but that just added to the fun. We also tried the Nada Colada mocktail with Torani coconut, pineapple juice and ginger ale and it was really good.

The flavor that came out of each bite was over the top. I can tell you what else was exceptional,…read moreand that was the service. I have never met such a kind hostess. He insisted that he move our tables to be one big table. I told him it was okay because I didnt want to bother him, but he insisted, saying he wanted me and my little nephew to be comfortable. He handed us the menus, and we decided to order three different pizzas and the Pretzel Bites for the appetizer. The first pizza was the Three Little Pigs, a delicious combination of Italian sausage, pepperoni, applewood bacon, fresh basil, marinara, and mozzarella. This one was by far my favorite. The bacon and sausage had a spicy flavor, and the mozzarella was thick and gooey. One bite and the cheese would stretch for days. The other two, the Pepperoni and Chicken Alfredo, were right up there, too. I like that the Chicken Alfredo tasted more like a pizza than not. It had all the combinations of a Chicken Alfredo pasta dish, but with the spices and marinara sauces, it was a sweet combination of both, but it was more of a pizza flavor, which I just loved. I can't leave off the Pretzel Bites; I liked that the cheese and mustard were mixed, bringing on a very favorable dip. Now I must tell you this: the pizzas are supposed to be a personal pan--ten inches with six slices. The hostess warned me these pizzas aren't your regular-sized personal pan. He was right. The pizzas are huge, the slices even bigger. It's a deep-dish pizza with layers of meat, cheese, sauces, and veggies. So you can order three like I did, or just order one and keep coming back, trying different pizzas, which is a great idea considering the place is so inviting. One more thing: You can eat inside or outside on the patio or the lawn with the large TV screen. It's a very relaxed place, and they have a band on certain nights. I can tell you for sure that the hostess, the food, and the ambiance make this place what it is, very inviting.

I was not impressed with my margarita pizza since it was a bit different from what I am used to. It…read moremade a brown drizzle. Maybe I did read the description. I don't know. The service was great. The late night vibe was cool. Good music chill time. The late night vibe is great for people on their 20s and 30s who are looking to chill with music, cocktails, and pizza.

That just proves that great minds think alike when it comes to delicious food! I ordered the salmon and veggies plate. By far, the juiciest salmon I've had in a long time. Very tasty. The service was great. The restaurant was very packed and loud inside. We managed to get a table. Delicious hummus.

This is a second review of Aplos, and the first was much better. This is a place I usually love and…read morerecommend to people but this experience was too rough not too leave a review. Hopefully this is just a To-go experience because if they have served this food to anyone dining in, I cant imagine a person who wouldnt be disappointed and send it back. I ordered the green goddess kale salad, which is i guess exactly what the menu describes but is beyond underwhelming. It was just wilted lettuce and kale with some crushed bits of parmesean on it with 1 dressing. This salad was 9.75 but proably cost them .25 cents to make. Absolutley horrible salad, you get more taste and value from a pre packaged salad kit at kroger. The other thing I got was the braised beef shwarma wrap. This had some ok flavor but that is completely forgotten about because the whole wrap was sopping in grease. It is a fatty meat, but i could even pick up the wrap without my whole hand being covered in grease and the bread was so covered that it felt like dough. Overall very poor meal from a place that usually really like for their plates, bowls, and drinks.
