We were very pleased with the attention that Norma gave us the past week when we went into this Sit N Sleep location to find a mattress for our guest room. We were a little apprehensive that we would get too much sales pitch from Sit N Sleep; however, Norma gave us just the right amount of attention and information to help us make an informed decision. And the delivery by Carlos and Fernando on truck 777 was also handled very well. We will go back to this Sit N Sleep when we are ready to shop for our master bedroom mattress. read more

Jordan Ngo was knowledgeable, nice and funny. He wasn't trying to upsale us at all. Any mattress we looked at he never compared it to a more expensive one. But we did get the most expensive lol, smart life by King Koil. But anyways great service and we feel very comfortable with our purchase. Thanks Jordan. read more

This review is not directed at the employees of sit n sleep at the Brea location, it is directed at the service department . I have several bedrooms in my house, and all my mattresses have been purchased for years from sit n sleep specifically Brea location, I have had excellent service every time at this location, please note the all the mattresses I have purchased are all high end and never had issues until recently, my daughter has complained of back aches when she wakes up, I checked her mattress and noticed it was not level anymore and a noticeable depression, my daughter weighs 125lbs, so I called the store and was directed to call customer service, an inspection was completed and the technician confirmed it had depression more than normal, few days later we received and email from customer service stating they can't cover replacement since the mattress was stained and soiled and it was purchased over a year ago, facts, the mattress was about $2,000 and was purchased about 5 years ago, we contacted customer service and told them there is not one stain on this mattress and sent pictures, then they said the tag was not on the mattress anymore and they had to decline coverage. Dear customer service you have to stick with one story and have actual facts when you deal with customers and decline coverage. please look at my history of purchases for years including my $$$$$$ mattress that I have recently purchased, I'm not after free replacement of a defective mattress, it's about what's wrong and what's right. you have failed to provide good customer service that you claim. Time to go somewhere else for my future mattress needs. read more

Just call me a victim of marketing. After receiving a coupon in the mail and thinking my lucky stars had aligned since we were in the market for a new mattress, I dragged my man down to Sit 'n Sleep. Of course the teaser coupon was for mattresses that I would never buy! What am I a shopping rookie? Well after getting over my disappointment with the coupon, we started looking around. There were some great deals on really nice mattresses and our guy threw in a bed frame/gave us half off on mattress covers. Delivery was scheduled and went off without a hitch. Also, they will take away an old mattress for free if needed. The whole process was pretty easy-peasy so Yay, I'm fan! Yelp 100 challenge: 34/100 read more

Omg, so my husband and I walked in here first time ever, to buy a brand new mattress. We don't know anything about mattresses to Begin with. As soon as we entered Jordan NGO welcomed us in and asked if we new what we were looking for, "medium firm mattress", but honestly we didn't even know. Jordan guided us straight to a machine that reads our bodies to know what we need. It was amazing, we were informed so much about how important it is to have the right matress. After Jordan asked if we were looking for anything or something specific. Of course we were looking for deals since we were on a budget. He showed us the best of the beat, good for our budget and for our body sleep preference. He was very informative, I learned alot. We tried different mattresses and we found the best that suited for us. The whole experience was great because Jordan was great from the minute we walked into the door until the minute we left. Thank you so much!!!!!! read more

We have been talking about getting a new bed for about a year, and we have gone a couple places but could never agree on anything. Then we stayed at Paris in Vegas a couple weeks ago and we both fell in love with the bed there. I found out what kind it was and we decided to get one. The particular mattress we were sleeping on was "Felicity" by Beauty Rest. Felicity is no longer made, so we went into Sit n Sleep and told the salesman, Bill, we wanted the comparable mattress to that one. Bill was very friendly and easy to work with. He showed us three Beauty Rest beds that were close to Felicity. We decided on one that we liked. He showed us another bed like that one, but a different brand. We laid on that and liked it as well. Asked the price, it was a hundred more than the Beauty Rest, but he said if we wanted that he would match the price. We ended up going with the Beauty Rest bed. Ordering the bed was a quick process. Paperwork was filled out in a few minutes and a delivery was set up for two days later. We were in and out of Sit n Sleep in probably 40 minutes. I'm sure it helped that we knew exactly what we were looking for. Monday night I got an automated call that the bed would be delivered between 4 - 8 PM on Tuesday. At about 4:15 on Tuesday a guy called and said he would be at my house in 20 minutes, and he was. Two guys removed my old bed and set up the new one in less than 30 minutes. The price for them to haul away the old mattress and box spring was $15, not bad. The last time we bought a bed we went somewhere in Orange, I don't remember where, but I do recall not caring for the salesperson and feeling like he was trying to wheel and deal us. I didn't feel that way with Bill and I would happily shop at Sit n Sleep again! read more

I have lower back trouble and I've wanted a new mattress for a while, but there are so many options that choosing the right one felt overwhelming. My husband and I went to Sit 'n Sleep and we were helped by Norma, who was extremely helpful and patient. First we did Bed Match, where you lie on a bed and watch a short video while your body is calibrated. Honestly I thought it was a little strange, but we tried out lots of mattresses and the results of the Bed Match ended up being accurate for us. It was very helpful for me that Sit n' Sleep had many different kinds of mattresses to try and compare. I had been putting off mattress shopping because I thought it might be stressful but Norma helped make it a much easier experience than I had expected. Also, I like the Sit 'n Sleep price guarantee. read more

No stars for Jordan Ngo! To all the Corporate Executive leadership at Sit' n Sleep, did you know that some of the mattresses you have displayed in the Brea showroom were referred to as " JUNK" by Jordan. Really? Why are you selling junk? This is Jordan's up sell tactics! Referring to some of your merchandise as junk is not very appealing. I just feel sorry for the all your past and future customers that purchased and will purchase these "junk" mattresses!!! Poor choice of words! read more

Went in in search of a new mattress because my old one collapsed given it was more than 10 years old, it had a good run. Pete Rigas was friendly and helpful in helping me find a suitable mattress and was open to any questions that I had. The delivery was quick and efficient. Was scheduled for 11:30am to 2:30pm but I got a call around 10:30am saying the delivery truck will be here soon. Kevin Hernandez and Christian Landeros was friendly and helpful. They were done with the installation in less than 20min. Overall this was a good experience! Looking forward to sleep on my new bed tonight! Reference #: 292633006 read more

I admittedly don't do well with salespeople. I am skeptical because I get upsold easily and end up with buyer's remorse. So going in, I was pretty hell bent on not talking to anyone. But Aaron was suuuuper nice and personable. He had us do the bed diagnostic test and then set us loose in the store with two colors in mind, which helped us narrow down our search. The best part is he didn't try to push us toward the most expensive lines and models, which made me feel he really was listening to our wants/needs. We ended up not buying that day but returned a week or so later and got help from Sharon. She upsold me, I admit, but I have no regrets this time. While the ordering and deliver process was fast and efficient, there were some mistakes made. However, Sharon was quick to offer solutions and in the end, I have an AMAZING new mattress (and frame and headboard and sheets) that I couldn't be happier with. Aaron and Sharon were both fantastic and I can tell they actually enjoy what they do. Thank you both!! read more

The entire experience from start to finish gets 5 stars. As soon as my wife and I walked in David Mackey greeted us right away. He was patient and knowledgeable with our questions and concerns. It felt like he actually cared about finding the exact bed we needed that suited our budget. After my experience with David, I didn't even want to bother going to the 3 other mattress stores we were planning on checking out that day. We bought a bed! They delivered our bed for free, and on time the next day as promised. We are very pleased with the quality of everything, and feel we got a fair price. I will recommend to friends and family. I needed to replace my king size mattress and had a wonderful experience at this Sit 'N Sleep. Sharon? The store manager, greeted me and had me take the bedMatch diagnostic test to see which bed was best suited for my husband and I. My 2 teenagers were with me and she set them up on an adjustable bed so they could play on their phones while I shopped in peace. She really worked with my budget to find the mattress I would love. It was truly a pleasant buying experience with Sharon. You get to pick a delivery day and they call the night before to give you a 3 hour window. The day of the delivery, the driver called when he was a few minutes away. It's been a few days of sleeping on it now and I wake up so well rested. I checked on my Fitbit and it actually says that I have more deep sleep minutes. I will definitely be back when I'm in the market for another mattress. Harry is our go-to guy. We've purchased 3 Tempurpedic mattresses from this location. They price match and delivery is also timely and professional. We purchased our first mattress in September 2018 (kind) and 2 more in September 2020 (queen/twin). The 2 we bought this past September, I made the whole deal on the phone and just went in to give my payment information. Highly recommended Sit and Sleep- they stand by the whole 'your mattress is free' moto. read more

Bought an $1800 mattress and boxspring set here with a 20 year warranty, within 3 years it collapsed to be virtually unusable. I went in and talked with the manager, he filed a claim and someone came out to check the bed. A few weeks later Sit n Sleep sent us a denial letter citing: * Improper support system - the bed manufacturer called for 5 1x4 slats or 1200 cubic inches providing 1500 pounds of support to the boxspring, in actuality we had in additional 4 2X10 supports adding another 4800 cubic inches providing for over 50,000 more pounds of support. * Stain - even though the bed was always covered with a mattress protector, under some special light they claimed to find some discolourisation. Which makes no sense to me anyway, they claim that a soiled mattress presents danger of biohazard to their employees, but the same employees have no problem handling and hauling away a nasty old bed upon purchase of a new one... what's the difference Larry? Generously, the letter offered a 10% discount off the purchase of a new bed at full retail, or more than anyone pays on any day of the year. Thanks! Instead, we bought our new bed for less than their "lowest prices of the year sale" from Sams Club with a 10 year unconditional money back guarantee... in 9 years and 11 months can carry it in and return it for a 100% refund, regardless of stains, tears (we have cats), or anything else... all we need is to go to Home Depot and buy a $10 mattress bag, like for moving, to hold the mattress. read more
