I could not be happier with my experience there! :) From the time they greeted us when my wife, son and I went in and all the way until the very end, they were super nice, professional and not pushy at all! :) The lady who helped me (Sharon) really listened to what we were looking for and patiently took us to a bunch of different mattresses to see what we were leaning towards as well as the budget I was trying to stay within. Went to Sit 'n Sleep expecting to drop a nice bundle of cash on a new mattress. We were very interested in a hybrid mattress and while we know a good mattress is expensive, we didn't want to break the bank. Ramen was very helpful and we found something we think we'll love! We ended up taking an adjustable platform as well, and it was on sale for President's Day. We're really looking forward to a good night's sleep, and very happy to have a new bed. read more

Buying a new Mattress - Norma O was extremely friendly and kind, and very helpful. We told Norma what we were familiar with, other places we had been & mattresses we had tried earlier that day, and ultimately what we wanted - and set a very tight budget. She was up to the challenge. We tried almost 6 mattresses on the floor before settling in on a 'Nectar' mattress. Norma would offer her thoughts, answered our questions, and we ended up very satisfied with our decision / purchase. It felt very thorough, thoughtful, and we will definitely go back to Sit N Sleep. I needed a mattress set delivered next day. Michael Lucero from this store location, promised me the product was in stock and would be delivered on 5/30. All I had to do is go home and wait for the phone call that would tell me my 3 hour delivery window for the next day. Imagine my surprise and outright irritation when I gEt home and find the paperwork states delivery is on Tuesday. Of course, my email to him went ignored And he did not respond This lack of follow through and broken promise will lead me to never purchase from this business again. Did not have a great experience here. Backstory: I've been looking for a new mattress for awhile. I did tons of research and finally was so tired of it all that I decided to stop in to see all the mattresses first hand. I talked with the sales guy there. At first I felt comfortable and ok with the conversation but he quickly became more condescending when I mentioned that I also was researching foam beds. I asked him if he mind showing me some of the best beds. And then point blank asked me "so no matter what I show you, your not going to buy today?" It went down hill from there. First of all I don't know anyone who just shows up to a mattress store and buys something that day unless they really have something in mind or know about that specific mattress Second of all I was by myself, I was still not certain what I wanted and I already expressed that I wanted my dad there. Still I shouldn't feel humiliated or guilty for not buying something in the spot. After that, the whole time he was showing me the mattresses he was kinda frustrated, didn't really want to talk about the details of each bed. Honestly worst experience. I ended up going to Costco and the mattresses there are great and I didn't feel guilty like the man at the this store made me feel. read more

So the service was good we got helped right away and they were not pushing. A lady helped us and she was very knowledgeable on the mattresses. We ended up buying the mattress plus the protector and two pillows. So we tried the pillows and they are not that great (technoget). We called thinking this pillows have tryout period as well like the mattresses do. Well apparently they don't. They are final sale. We where not told that. This review is not directed at the employees of sit n sleep at the Brea location, it is directed at the service department . I have several bedrooms in my house, and all my mattresses have been purchased for years from sit n sleep specifically Brea location, I have had excellent service every time at this location, please note the all the mattresses I have purchased are all high end and never had issues until recently, my daughter has complained of back aches when she wakes up, I checked her mattress and noticed it was not level anymore and a noticeable depression, my daughter weighs 125lbs, so I called the store and was directed to call customer service, an inspection was completed and the technician confirmed it had depression more than normal, few days later we received and email from customer service stating they can't cover replacement since the mattress was stained and soiled and it was purchased over a year ago, facts, the mattress was about $2,000 and was purchased about 5 years ago, we contacted customer service and told them there is not one stain on this mattress and sent pictures, then they said the tag was not on the mattress anymore and they had to decline coverage. Dear customer service you have to stick with one story and have actual facts when you deal with customers and decline coverage. please look at my history of purchases for years including my $$$$$$ mattress that I have recently purchased, I'm not after free replacement of a defective mattress, it's about what's wrong and what's right. you have failed to provide good customer service that you claim. Time to go somewhere else for my future mattress needs. read more
