I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to the team at Custom Comfort Mattress. We had an exceptional experience ordering a bed for my mother-in-law. We needed a bed for our downstairs area while she is convalescing, but she wanted something comfortable and beautiful -- not a hospital bed. The Custom Comfort Mattress team helped make that possible, and it turned out to be the perfect solution. The bed was created and delivered promptly, and the gentlemen who came to set everything up were wonderful. They were kind, caring, and took the time to place the bed exactly where we needed it. Their thoughtfulness and professionalism truly stood out. We ordered the bed, box spring, and frame, and the quality is exceptional. You can immediately see and feel the difference compared to standard mattresses. When the time comes to replace the mattress in her bedroom, we will absolutely be returning to Custom Comfort Mattress. Thank you for providing not only an outstanding product but also such a caring experience during a time when our family really needed it. read more

Review 23/365 Day Challenge I've seen Custom Comfort Mattress before they relocated to this newer location that was once the Grand Salon. They use to be where the New Barnes and Nobles bookstore is and next to the once carters Baby/kids clothing store. I met Roland 1st at the Taste of Yorba Linda 2 years back. He had a booth there promoting his business with a spin a wheel for merchandise swag he was giving away. Mee and a girlfriend was the lucky winner to score a travel pillow. Fast forward to now, my son took that travel pillow for himself so I'd like one for my traveling . Stopped into the new current location to purchase a few more travel pillows. The showroom has a really pleasant fresh aroma scent. Very welcoming along it was huge spacious and clean. So many different type of mattress for your needs. Love the modern headboard too they sell. Feeling the mattress you can tell it's good quality and it'll be a great investment for the long haul to get a good nights sleep you use daily'. Associate Josh was really nice and answered all of my questions. This business has been open since 1984, family owed and passionate about their mattresses they offer. I'm currently not looking for any mattresses at this moment but since i love the customer service and information i received. I'd definitely recommend my family/friends/ neighbors along myself to come give Custom Comfort mattress a look for my future needs. read more

I visited the Brea Custom Comfort Mattress showroom to get educated on getting a new mattress. The quality of the mattress was amazing. They use all natural materials and make them here in the USA. The staff was fantastic. Haven't purchased a mattress yet, but would highly recommend to go in and get educated before shopping. read more

The quality of the mattresses at Custom Comfort is top notch that's why we keep going back and don't even consider other brands. Their staff is knowledgeable and patient in answering any questions. Talking to Roland is like talking to family and he personally made sure that my son's mattress is delivered just in time for him to move in. I highly recommend! read more

Been shopping here my whole life. Roland is very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend.

Great personal service. Care was taken to help my husband find the perfect mattress and setup for our needs. The sales staff knew what he was looking for and when presented with a choice between two options, the sales staff actually recommended the option that cost less. The bottom line wasn't the important part to them, meeting our needs was. Our last mattress from Custom Comfort lasted for nearly 20 years with no major structural issues. It looks like our newly delivered mattress will easily top that. Highly recommend you visit. read more

Came to customer comfort in search for a mattress topper but left with a purchase of a new mattress and sheets. I absolutely don't regret it either! Their show room is large enough to compare different mattress and everything they have to offer there. I was helped by Roland, and now I always recommend Roland to all family and friends who are in need of a mattress or a pillow. The best thing about this company is it is still family owned so the quality is there! These mattress's are made to last, they know it's not a one bed fits all so they can also work with you on your needs. Love Custom Comfort and in love with my new mattress, pillow and sheets! Thanks Roland! read more

Writing on behalf of my parents who went and met Roland at Custom Comfort. He was very kind and educated, and took his time teaching them about the different kinds of mattresses that would help alleviate their back pain. They're still weighing their choices for mattresses but Roland certainly helped them get started in the right direction! read more

I highly recommend Custom Comfort. We now own two mattresses from them and are getting ready to purchase our third from their Brea location--which says a lot about how happy we've been. Their mattresses are incredibly comfortable, and their customer service is consistently outstanding. What makes them even more special is how much they give back to the community through Support Local and involvement. It's rare to find a company that delivers both exceptional quality and genuine community care. We'll definitely keep coming back. read more

I am so pleased with the kind advice and assistance from Michael on our recent purchase. As a returning customer we have always appreciated the craftsmanship and quality of CCM beds, but Michael really took a lot of time and effort on this last purchase to ensure we were satisfied and selected the best product for us. Can't sleep at night? Insomnia? Sleep apnea? Well you might need to see the doctor AND get yourself a comfy mattress to help! Greeted and helped by Mr. Trudell. I tested 3 mattresses and immediately found one that wasn't too firm or too soft. Bouncy and the value was fair considering the high quality of a US made product. A small business that exceeds big business in quality. Can't wait to finally say goodnight to my old mattress.:3 psa: check in for a free travel comfort pillow! read more

Update. Was able to pay off my balance without the interest charge, which was unexpected timing to pay off a big amount. In my life, I have never experienced such dishonesty from an employee regarding other people's money matters. This is the worst of the worst! Did they earn points and $$ for my opening a credit card? $8200 interest is no joking matter. It's like interest added for a 30 year payment plan. Disgusted and extremely upset about this matter. read more

We love Custom Comfort! So much so that not only did we buy our mattress there, but we bought two more as wedding presents for two of our kids. I bought my King size adjustable mattress with a unifying topper from this location and I'm so happy with it that I had to share my experience on Yelp. First of all when I arrived I didn't feel any type of sales pressure from anyone. Roland, Chris, and Melissa were very nice and not at all pushy. Their mattresses seem so much better than other companies that I looked at and because it's a local company and the sales people were genuine and not at all pushy I decided to make the big purchase on the spot! I got a mid range mattress and the middle range adjustable bed without anyone trying to get me to spend more. The delivery was awesome! I was worried about the adjustable bed fitting into my existing bed frame but the delivery guys were able to get it to fit and it looks great! The delivery guys set up everything and took away my old mattress. I've slept on the mattress a couple of nights so far and it is such a great night sleep! My husband likes his mattress firm but I went with a more plush unifying topper which is perfect! The bed is so awesome! I love sitting up to watch tv and going to zero gravity to sleep. I don't think you can go wrong with the mattress or the sales people! I really felt like the team there really just wanted me to get the mattress that would best fit what I was looking for. Thanks again to Roland, Chris, and Mellissa! I love the new bed!! read more

Truly a wonderful shopping and educational experience. Josh and the entire team worked with us to ensure we had the optimal sleep-fit experience. We found the best bed for both my wife and me. It has been over a month and I can finally confirm Comfort Custom Mattresses are the best investment money can buy today. They say you are what you eat - Well, you are what you sleep on too. (At least how you sleep, Ha!) Custom Comfort is different. Yes, they will let you lie down and try different types of showroom beds to see which is most comfortable. They also show you why the bed you've been sleeping on for the last 20 years may not be made as well as you thought it was when you bought it. Mattress construction is important to getting great, quality rest. Roland showed us techniques while we were on the showroom bed that demonstrate how their mattress can be comfortable for me and comfortable for my partner individually. How Custom Comfort mattresses are constructed and the materials used make THE difference in how well you sleep. He took the time to make us feel special with a personalized experience. And their prices are affordable from a basic twin all the way to ultra-luxury. Mattresses are manufactured right here in Southern California and made with materials like pure soft white cotton and natural latex. I've purchased two beds and will come back again. Go to Custom Comfort because a good night's sleep cannot be overrated. Recommended business. Five stars read more

You want a mattress... this is the place to go. I walked in and Melissa could not have been more helpful. Answered ALL my questions (and I had a lot of them) things I never knew about. So helpful. So many different styles of mattress to choose from. All different price points. I found out about them from winning a gift basket that they donated. In talking with Melissa, they do a lot of donated items to many causes. Which was so cool to here. So not only do they have great mattresses but care about the community. Win win. Stop by and ask for Melissa. Great great great. Roland is also ok too. Lol. Thanks guys. read more

Michael Romo is the best! He spent the time needed to resolve a creaking noise in my adjustable bed. He disassembled the bed, lubricated, connection, points, etc. he encouraged me to contact him again if the creaking noise returns in the adjustable part of the bed. Michael is very professional and friendly. He also called to set up the appointment within half an hour of me initially contacting Custom Comfort and arrived exactly on time. Great company! Great customer service by Michael! read more

We purchased an adjustable bed from this store years ago. When one side got stuck in the upright position, Chris came out to help and made it flat for us. His assistance was invaluable, especially since it took 2-3 weeks for the insurance to fix it. Today, my husband and I returned to the store to purchase a couple of travel pillows. I mentioned wanting a few more pillows, and Roland kindly asked Melissa to give us the two travel pillows and their cases at no charge. This thoughtful gesture made us feel truly valued as customers. This is a family-owned business that consistently provides exceptional service. If you're looking for a mattress or bedding products, I highly recommend giving them a visit or a call! read more

It has been a little over four months since we purchased our mattress and we couldn't be any happier! My husband and I came here after reading great things on Yelp. We tested out some mattresses at Custom Comfort and fell in love with the second mattress we tried. We decided to hold off and try out a few other mattress places before we decided to buy and nothing else came close to Custom Comfort. We were back within a couple weeks and couldn't wait to have our mattress delivered. Shane helped us both times we visited the store and he wasn't pushy or making us feel like we had to buy. He was super helpful and walked us through the delivery process and promised us flexibility since we were waiting on the keys to our new apartment. I walked in thinking I knew what I wanted and left with a complete knowledge and understanding of mattresses that I didn't know before. Melissa was so incredibly helpful and friendly. Not only did she educate us on how mattresses were made, and the difference between Sealy, Beautyrest, and other mattresses versus their mattresses (that are made for you as soon as you put in your order) but I did not know the other mattresses are made with chemicals in the foam and other areas. We are very excited to receive our mattress next week. I received a text message to not only track the delivery, but was able to schedule it with ease online. They will pick up the old mattress and set up the new one which is included. You would think that a mattress made for you would be more expensive, but I actually found it cost-effective and very comparable to even Costco. Knowing what I'm going to sleep on, how it was made, and that it wasn't sitting around in a warehouse somewhere for months wrapped in plastic... I have a feeling I will be sleeping very well! As soon as I receive it, I will put an updated review with a picture. Thank you so much Melissa and custom comfort mattress!! read more

We bought a King adjustable mattress a couple weeks before my open heart surgery from the Custom Comfort Mattress in Brea, CA. Thank you to the sales staff and to Roland for making a service call on a Saturday. I highly recommend Custom Comfort Mattress and give them a 5+ star review. read more

Had a brief but great time at this location. Salesperson was friendly and not pushy. Also met one of the owner's son. Was in a pickle and needed a mattress + bed board + frame same day AND delivered locally, which surprisingly and thankfully was able to be done. All in all, payment + delivery was completed within 1-hour of entering store. Fair price we got for a twin set. In general, would advice potential customers looking for mattresses to look for local/family-owned businesses. Build quality I've experienced so far + price point are much better compared to mainstream stores, plus no gimmicks. read more

Since 2016, I have been a customer of Custom Comfort Mattress. This place is authentic, knowledgeable, and super-friendly. I started off becoming a customer at their Pasadena location. I was never pressured to buy a mattress at this place. I was greeted by a sales rep named Chris Brady. I told him that I needed pillows so he introduced me to their latex pillows. I fell in love with it. It is the best pillow I have owned. What is so great about this place is all their products are handmade! Every since I bought the pillows, I started shopping at their Brea location. I met a few more sales reps that were very helpful too. I met two sales rep named Roland and Rick. Now 4 years later, I bought my mattress and pillow from Chris. He really helped this time. I purchased the Pacifica mattress which is made of natural materials and it is a double-sided mattress. This mattress is soo comfortable. Now I am sleeping better than ever. Also, did I mention this mattress store won the best mattress store in Orange County?! read more
