Beware they tow cars and have no customer service in empty stores. The overall look of the place is shabby for posh Orange County but has potential as a dollar store or marijuana shop. Should be avoided at all costs. read more

We have had our mattress for 10 years and decided to get the same brand because we loved it so much. David was extremely knowledgeable and was able to walk us through each type of mattress and ultimately help us decide on a new one. We'd come back again. read more

David was super helpful in helping us choose the right mattress for our needs. Great deals are awaiting in-store.

I am so thankful we met David, he was so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and was not pushy, the perfect salesman. We had been shopping all day for a mattress and was loosing hope that we weren't going to be able to find the perfect bed at a good price. We had a horrible experience at a different company and almost didn't stop in. We are so glad we did, we were able to find something in our price range and take it home with us. If I could gave David and this company more stars I would. If you need a mattress go see David. He's off Mondays and Tuesdays. Thank you again David and Orange Country Mattress!! read more

David provided great service, was able to answer any questions, wasn't pushy about making a sale, and offered us a great deal. We were looking for a Tempurpedic and they had all the models available to try out in store. Quick delivery, our mattress came in a week and the delivery guys took care of everything. Would definitely recommend! read more

Fantastic service!!! I want to thank David for being so helpful. I walked in last week to shop for a new mattress' and was greeted at the door by David. I told him my needs and my budget and he immediately knew what to show me. He is very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect bed for my type of sleeping. He gave me plenty of time to my self to test out the mattress that I liked and was not pushy at all. The mattress I got was a little out of my budget but due to David's excellent and his help that he offered for me I couldn't pass up getting the mattress. It arrived today and I am more then happy with the quality and comfort of my new mattress. Thank you David for all of your help! I didn't leave it in the Google review but the delivery team was also very friendly and helpful! Great staff all around. I will be recommending this store to friends and family when I hear anyone looking for a mattress. read more

Was looking for a mattress place and found this after checking out floor and decor in the same plaza. Our home was not yet ready so we ended up browsing. David welcomed us in. He answered all our questions and was sure to help us find the mattress that was best for us. What we appreciated the most was that he was not pushy or anything. He just really wanted to help us find the mattress for us. We weren't ready to purchase yet at this time. Fast forward a few weeks, our house was ready and we were ready to purchase our mattress! We didn't even look elsewhere as we were so happy with our experience with David, that we were set on making our purchase there. Thankfully, David was there again and he remembered us! He helped us confirm everything and he even got our delivery scheduled the very next day! We were SO HAPPY! He is awesome! Delivery only took a few minutes too, and they were polite and reapectful. Overall, i would recommend this place to anyone looking for a mattress! Wonderful experience!! read more

I still have to set up delivery for my mattress once my apartment gives me the time to get my key but I am so excited to have a tempur pedic!! I really tried to find a cheaper mattress that was close to this one but it is really top tier and I am so excited to see how my sleeping improves. Before coming to this store I had been to Mattress Firm & Sit & Sleep. David was so helpful that I knew I had found not only the right bed but the right store to get it from. He was very willing to answer questions and was incredibly helpful. But, most importantly compared to the other stores I went to I didn't feel pressured to make a decision quick. When you plan to spend under $2k and wind up debating going way over budget it isn't a decision you take lightly. read more

Needed a new mattress and went here and Mike helped us out and was amazing! He helped show us different types of mattresses and explained the differences between them. OC Mattress offers a 15 year warranty which helped us solidify the purchase. They also delivered ours for free and we were very pleased with the delivery service! They put the mattress directly on the bed frame for us. Will definitely recommend family and friends and be back in the future! read more

My husband Matt and I went into the Fullerton location on Harbor Blvd and Imperial Hwy on a random Saturday afternoon. We were intending to look for new pillows, but after speaking with the wonderful Gina, we bought a new mattress! I had bought a matress there just 3 years earlier as a bachelorette, but now as a Mrs, my Mr and I decide to buy our 1st mattress as a married couple! I was absolutely excited because I LOVED my bachelorette mattress and knew OC Mattress would not stear us wrong. Thank you, Gina, for your knowledge and expertise! read more

They were so kind helpful and quick. I got what I wanted. The price was excellent, too. I like Annie and their delivery crews. read more

First time shopping for a mattress and I was overwhelmed with the info online. My partner and I wanted to try something in person since both of us have bad backs and even with generous trial periods for online mattresses we didn't want to go through the hassle of trying something, not liking it and having to order another one. David at Orange County Mattresses was the man! Didn't push anything onto us, provided really helpful suggestions based on what we're looking for, and gave ample time and space to try the various mattresses. We left pretty confident in what to look for and will definitely shop local when it's time to get our mattress! read more

Mike is so professional and knowledgeable - buying our mattress was easy as he answered our questions and gave us suggestions. We never once felt he pushed anything onto us and we're so happy with our purchase - thanks so much Mike! read more

Buyer Beware! No exchange policy. 20% restocking charge! Ridiculous! You can buy a mattress anywhere with a 30 return policy.

Went to about 6 different mattress stores and discount mattress warehouses before coming across Orange County Mattress in Fullerton. I was greeted by Gina who exceeded my expectations in many ways. Genuine customer service, experienced knowledge of product and had a wide array of inventory for sleep mattresses, box springs, platforms and frames. Their prices were less than the competitors for the same product and they even have a clearance section. Gina was able to answer all my questions and provide me with sensible recommendations which led to my purchase and that didn't empty my pockets. We absolutely love our new bed and restful sleep. I strongly encourage to check them out before committing anywhere else. Thanks again Gina and Orange County Mattress!!!! read more

Update: This happened three months ago. I talked to the supervisor and after pleading, they returned my mattress for store credit. Of course I ended up spending a lot more $$$ (doubled) after we really picked out something I liked. Boxspring. AIRELOOM BOX SPRING. LESSON LEARNED - DO NOT BY FLOOR MODEL MATTRESSES + DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS IN A HURRY. read more

Gina was a great help! She showed us several mattresses that would be good for side sleepers. The one we picked has been fantastic! We also got pillows to go with the mattress and we have never slept better. read more

So, I call and talk to a real nice guy and make an appointment. He gave me a few prices on beds we were interested in. We go in and there's a female sales person. Talked fast and clean like a used car salesmen. I left because I didn't cate for her sales style. Went back, had the guy and I picked my bed. Nope, don't have that one lets up sale you. No, then I want that bed. Oh we can have that delivered Friday. I have a truck and wanted to pick up the mattress myself. They refused. Friday comes, "oh we're sorry we no longer sell that mattress" did the guy forget that he callled his warehouse in front of me to arrange and ensure the mattress was there? So now nobody called and we had no bed. Now I have to go back in and of coarse tried to upsell me. Nope, I want that mattress. I asked to pick it up, nope, must be delivered. I finally got my bed after 3 weeks and yesterday I took the top mattress off their box new box spring. It's CRAP!!! No wonder they wanted to come to my house during a pandemic! So I didn't see the crap they brought! I can use my pinkie and poke holes everywhere. Two inch boards spread one foot apart. Our mattress is all ready sinking into those wide gaps. They basically sold me a tissue paper cloth pallet with missing boards. read more

David helped my parents and I when it came to finding new mattresses. My mother and I walked in looking for a mattress that I had been interested in a few weeks ago. David was there to answer all my questions and gave us lots of information. He ended up helping us both find mattresses that fit our preferences and sleeping styles (as we were all overdue for new mattresses). This weekend we decided to pay another visit to the store to purchase the beds we decided on. I would recommend this mattress store, especially when David is there (Sunday's and Monday's). We purchased an airloom and serta and got same day delivery and old mattress pick up. read more

This was my first stop as I was starting my mattress search. I figured they had a good array of mattress brands for me to try. Annie was the rep that helped me and I really appreciated her easy going and helpful attitude. I didn't feel pushed or like I was just a sale vs. a person. She took the time to show me what mattresses they had available in the size and firmness I desired. She was very clear and upfront about pricing for the different mattresses I said I was thinking about. While I didn't purchase my mattress from this store, it wasn't due to the staff. It was because the plushness, better quality materials, and a latex topper material wasn't available here in my price point. read more

Truly went in just to "look" and see what we wanted so we knew an idea of what would be good for my fiancé and I BUT Chad helped us out and truly took the time to make sure we knew what each of us needed for our backs, and then was able to find the PERFECT bed for the both of us! I did not feel pushed into buying anything, I felt encouraged to feel for what was best for my body and more importantly my back. He made us feel so welcome, and at home! If you're looking for someone you can trust come here and ask for Chad! THE BEST EXPERIENCE! read more

Chad was great. Called him first to find out what he had, then drove over. Really worked a good deal. He did try to up-sell me on a better mattress, gave me a good price, but only needed the cheapest available for this spare bed. Free delivery, they couldn't do same day when I bought it at 5pm :( They did come out the next day. Window was 11-3, they called about 12:30pm to say there were running late, showed up about 3:30. But the delivery guys were so awesome!!!! They pointed out an issue with our bed frame, and waited patiently while we fixed it, and then helped us move the mattress to put the bed skirt on. These guys were super nice and super helpful and they didn't rush us. When I go to buy my next bed I'll be back there. read more

This review is for the company brand mattress Black Rock in medium The sales team gets 5 stars. Informative and helpful through out the process. Even on a return that was hassle free. --OC Mattress Black Rock Medium-- Don't fall for this "cooltek fabric" or "cool touch gel" the mattress retains your heat. On top of that the mattress does nothing to relieve pressure on your pressure points. My wife and I both experience pain/ slight numbness on our hips when we sleep on our side and low back when sleeping face up. Unfortunate. We have Casper and Tuft & Needle foam matresss ( both purchased after visitjng OC mattress) in the other bedrooms that are far more comfortable than this Black Rock. Avoid this one. I unfortunately can not return this after already using up my 1 chance already. In the future I would probably stay towards the temperpedic or the online mattresses I listed above. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I work with Chad from start to finish. He helped me pick out the right mattress for me and did not try to upsell me. Chad also made sure he was giving me a fair price. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. I explained to him that my bed frame wasn't going to arrive until beginning of Feb, so I wasn't sure what size the box spring needed to be. He was understanding and asked that I call back once it arrives so we can adjust the box spring accordingly. His follow through is very impressive. He made sure the mattress and box spring were delivered in a timely manner. He even followed up a week later to see how I am liking the mattress. I appreciate the good customer service! read more

Mike was an awesome sales rep! Very polite, informative and helpful! Thank you for helping us find the perfect mattress for us!

My boyfriend and I are in the middle of moving and have been searching for a new mattress for a few weeks now. We came to Orange County Mattress and David was a great help. Sexist. Chad walked us through the store and for the most part I was making all the speaking with him and telling him what we were looking for. I told him we are never the type of people to make a decision on the first store we walk up to. He decided to write his info on his card as I was standing RIGHT NEXT TO HIM, instead of handing me the card he passes me and walks across the room towards the exit to give it to my husband. I'm the one making the decision, you idiot. read more

This place sucks. Bought a mattress and box boxspring 2 years ago. 10 year warranty and had to use it twice and need to again. Box spring make more noise like the wood is breaking. Mattress springs broke again. I would not send my worst enemy to this store. If I could give them a -star I would. read more

This guys at the shop is a such cheap salesperson. He just wanted to sell and very pushy

Fullerton location is not clean and run down. Couldn't tell if the sell person was a customer or employee. Wasn't dressed nicely at all. Salesperson was trying to get a moth out of store and kept saying the F work with my kids around. So very unprofessional. Never will I shop or buy ANYTHING from OCM again. Customer Service is horrible, they are rude, hang up on you and don't call you back. I asked Erik or Stephanie to give me a call back and they don't. They don't stand behind the product they sold you. I bought a mattress set and frame 2 years ago. Due to a faulty frame my mattress and box spring is shot. Go to Sit and Sleep. Friendly and great customer service. read more

I came in looking for a mattress and Mike was available to help. He asked what I wanted, what I was looking for, and showed me mattresses that he thought I would like. With each mattress, he took the time to explain the soft and firmness of each one, time to "try it out", and most importantly, answer all my questions, even the ones I asked ten times to make sure I had a good understanding of the mattresses I was testing. He went over prices to make sure I got the right mattress and price. I was shopping around and went to Macy's () and Sit N' Sleep. The other places had decent mattresses but the mattress at OC Mattress was what I was looking for. Above all, what helped me make this decision was the customer service. I felt at Macy's they weren't really knowledgeable and at Sit N' Sleep, I felt rushed to make a decision. Thank you Mike so much! read more

WARNING. DO NOT GO TO THIS MATTRESS STORE. Customer service is really really bad. I usually dont write a lot of reviews, but this store was a must. First: the salesman was constantly telling us "You dont need to buy here if you dont want" the whole time we were there. Like okay I get you. You dont have to repeat that sentence every 5 minutes! If you dont want to give us a discount, fine! We dont need to hear that the whole time we're there. Just because the mattress we were interested in was not that expensive, doesn't mean you can treat your customers that way. He was literally not even treating us like we were customers. VERY RUDE. Even till the end when we were about to pay! I mean why do you have to say that to your customer who is about to pay?! Just sell us the damn thing and so we can leave. Oh and in the middle of helping us with our purchase, he decided to help another customer who came in later than us. We couldn't wait longer.. we we needed to just pay and leave, but he told us to wait 1 min and had us waiting for another 30 min. We wasted our time just waiting on him to finish helping the other customer that came way later than us (they had only one salesman in the store) Second: We are your customers, not your student! Dont yell at us (including our parents who are way older than you are) "dont wander around!" Hello?!?! We are not elementary kids that will wander around and mess up your mattresses. I just want to look around and see what I like. Is that too much to ask for? Oh and yes, he is going to talk over you when you're talking. RUDE. Third: In front of the store, it says "free same day shipping" in big letters. When we were about to buy the mattress, expecting it to be shipped free, he goes "oh no, free shipping is only over $399." WHAT? It clearly says outside that you offer free shipping. I mean is that FALSE ADVERTISEMENT or what? And i tell him "well you should write that its only over 399" and he goes, "well you can find that out online." That does not make any sense to me. If I am passing by a store and see an advertisement like so, then why would i go online to check if it's really free shipping? When I mentioned that it might be false advertisement, this guy got all defensive and started raising his voice on me. Like chill dude I'm just saying. I have seen big advertisement signs with at least small lettering below stating the restrictions, but no not this one. I've never experienced this kind of shady business, ever. And he kept telling me that he is not shady. LOL If this is not shady, I dont know what is. Overall, I felt like the salesman did not want to sell his mattresses. He is very rude to his customers. He either needs to re-learn about customer service or go find another job. No wonder the store is so empty. read more

Chad has given me the best customer service experience in my life! He was very patient to explain all the details of the mattress I wanted to purchase. He gave me free delivery and when I was unsure about my box spring he went beyond the call of duty by delivering a second box spring for free on the same day! I checked around for prices of other mattress companies such as a Sit and Sleep and the prices of Orange County Mattress beat them hands down! Not only that but I was given a 10 year warranty for the mattress! Talk about peace of mind!! I strongly recommend that you come on down and check out these mattresses you won't be disappointed!! Make sure you ask for Chad!! read more

The Good - they're local...that's it. The Bad - We thought we were buying a mattress like the comfortable floor model instead when we got it home and removed the plastic wrap we discovered that we received a extremely firm, poorly made, noisy metal rack with very little comfort foam, not like the floor model at all, (Beware!). Unfortunately for customers the restocking fees are a stiff 20%, and I have to question why "the Beast" didn't have that new materials or fabric scent. It Gets Worse - we asked if they would dispose of the "Beast", (yes, it was that bad), if we brought it to them, but they refused to even do that:-( We really wanted to like this store, but I don't understand why the company would treat customers that way especially with high quality, brand name mattress now being sold online with huge discounts. We made several visits to this store before making a purchase and customers were not beating down the door at this location. read more

Our experience here was a complete pleasure. Bill, our salesman, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, without being a bit pushy or "salesman"-like. He simply aided us in learning about each bed we were interested in and helped us make the right decision. It probably didn't hurt that we were already committed to making a purchase, and one of the most expensive beds there at that. I would definitely recommend this place and their great deals to any friends. read more

I was given a great deal. The bed I got was okay. The reason for the 3 star is based on 2 things. One, the bed I bought was was based on the floor model. After getting it it was much harder then the floor model. After going back I found out the floor model had been produced over 4 years ago. I wish they had told me that before. Secondly, they do offer an exchange within 30 days, but the restocking fee is an absurd 20%! The positives are that they deliver for free on the same day and their prices are extremely competitive. They also have a great selection of beds. read more
