While I understand that staff may be preparing to close, customers should still receive courteous service during all posted business hours. During one visit, while I was briefly speaking with someone, an employee repeatedly called my name three times within about 15 seconds to remove my to-go order from the counter. The interaction felt unnecessarily impatient and disrespectful. At the same time, another customer was still dining in the restaurant and there were approximately 15 minutes remaining before closing. On a separate visit, when we placed a to-go order, the employee seemed bothered by having to take the order and stated they were out of brisket. Whether or not the item was actually unavailable, the attitude and lack of customer service were noticeable. What concerns me most is that these were not isolated incidents. There appears to be a pattern of poor customer service during the last hour of business. Customers should not feel unwelcome simply because they choose to visit later in the evening while the restaurant is still open. I am sharing this feedback because I enjoy this location and would like to continue supporting it. However, the current staff could benefit from additional training in professionalism, friendliness, and customer service. I hope management will address these concerns so that all guests receive the same level of service throughout operating hours.
